Yeah I think entei had an edge in the fire category at first because it was difficult to get with it running all around johto and kanto. same with feebas, it is so hard to get. unless there was a feebas meme I didn't know. People would inevitably search tricks for catching it. Not really surprised how well many of the pokemon did though.

I can tell you exactly what made celebi triumph as the most popular grass type. Originally celebi was impossible to get outside of Japan and it stayed that way until heart gold and soul silver and it was very hyped up by the time. Not to mention celebi was very good in vgc when it was released and it has done pretty consistently well ever since

It's because Dialga, Palkia and Giratina represent the three forms of matter. Dialga is a steel type and represent the solid form. Palkia is a water type and represent the liquid form. Giratina is a ghost type and represeny the gas form.
Feebas is super popular BECAUSE it’s only catchable in 2 cubic spaces in the entire game map- And The % odds of encountering it is nearly impossible.. I spent MANY days going back and forth on these cubic spaces… never caught one.

I think it says a lot that the entire Shinx evo line made it onto the list. Luxray is such a great combo of dark/electric and is super versatile esp as a physical attacker. My fav electric type!
Honestly Charizard and greninja should be tied for favorite starter cause I'm 16 but I have a gameboy color, I play pokemon red and charizard was always my starter( charmander ). but then when x and y came and I saw froakie I was like yesssssss!!! but when it comes to picking between charizard and greninja its impossible you are not human if your able to choose between them.

I think it says a lot that the entire Shinx evo line made it onto the list. Luxray is such a great combo of dark/electric and is super versatile esp as a physical attacker. My fav electric type!

Honestly Charizard and greninja should be tied for favorite starter cause I'm 16 but I have a gameboy color, I play pokemon red and charizard was always my starter( charmander ).
but then when x and y came and I saw froakie I was like yesssssss!!! but when it comes to picking between charizard and greninja its impossible you are not human if your able to choose between them.
Personally I don’t like Greninja at all, never found the whole Japanese ninja fashion attractive. :) But as a 25 I am glad that Pokémon is still what this world adores.

In electric type. I voted for Electrode. Well that pokemon is the fastest of all the electric type Pokemon. Also if Electrode can't beat his opponent, he would use his speed advantage and will use Self Destruct/Explosion before dying, taking his opponent on graves with him😂

I doubt the accuracy of these being 100% true, and I don't personally like Shin Art too much but these results are incredibly believable.
My comments on these:
Pikachu needs no commentary. The first Pokemon we knew, the one our teacher always confuses with Pokemon itself.
Charizard and Charmander definitely dominate. Seriously...
Mew is simply the big one that everybody knows. Cute and always with Pikachu and Eevee.
It's obviously Umbreon, I think we all know this. Leafeon is the most boring Eeveelution too.
