I really liked Kate a lot and I still watch her reruns whenever possible, but if she had stayed at NCIS, we probably would have never gotten to know Cote/Ziva and that would have a bad thing. I loved both of them but since Ziva was with them so long, my affection for her was stronger and after 3 seasons I miss her just as much as I originally did.
