I hadn't realized you hit the road and started a new channel....I guess I need to pay more attention to what my fellow Hamtubers are up to. I'm looking forward to following your travels!
Thanks for sharing! The views are what got me . . . First in Washington state, but the sun goes away too long there for me. When I found AZ I was forever hooked. Travel safely, my friend. See you out there. 73 de Bill
I doove the views out here. I'm so used to the "short" views of the forrested east, the west just looks so open, inviting and ready for adventure and exploration!
@@livingforalivingRV, I get what you’re saying. Short views in WI are better than short views in suburban Chicagoland. After the Northwest and West, the Midwest views were almost claustrophobic. Have fun. 73 de Bill
That was a great trip. love the views. nice when neighbors are far away . was going to recommend the Victron smart shunt. what I install. some of them tank sensors are not so great. gets worse over time. we got quite the snow/wind storm in NY past 2 days. driving ban. grid down all over. and it was 50F before storm hit. very snow less then it changed in 1 day ! . now 24 hours later 13F .
It is a regular learning situation with RV travel but oh, so worth it! Right? White Sands, eh? I do agree that 6 hours is too much. Not fun at all. Take care and safe travels.

*Welcome to Arizona !* Hope to see you at QF.
If you see me, come say hi!
Great video TO. Definitely on my list of places to visit. 73's from KI5PRK
Hey Jimmy, Thanks for watching!
A few years ago I spent two days in Fort Stockton due to the severe winds.
We almost had to find a new place to stay on the drive from one park to another. El Niño has been bad this year.
Drive safe my friend
Thanks!
I'm surprised you didn't stop by White Sands National Park. Always a favorite tourist attraction.
Drove through it a few times... There is always so much to see that we have to go back a few times to see it all.
It is a regular learning situation with RV travel but oh, so worth it! Right? White Sands, eh? I do agree that 6 hours is too much. Not fun at all. Take care and safe travels.
Agreed! Safe travels to you as well. I just subscribed to your channel from both of mine.
Both? Thanks!
I have a larger Ham Radio Channel: ruclips.net/user/temporarilyoffline
im a new sub!
Welcome Gregg!
How active are the kangaroo mice? Also, there's some good POTAs out there, I've managed to activate a few.
I didn't see any roo mice here... And I stayed in a POTA for the weekend, but hard too much to do to activate. Coming soon!
Ahh, I can smell those creosote bushes!!!
Its a great place to be. I really love the desert, its so new and open compared to growing up in Maryland.
Im allergic to them!!
@@janejones5362 Oh no! Does just smelling them trigger your allergies or do you have to touch them?
Safe travels Steve. I think i missed the outcome but what happen with your engine repair? Recon? New engine? Looked bad anyway.
Yeah, the water pump disintegrated into the engine and blocked all the cooling galleries. New engine and now I have a fantastic ride!
@@livingforalivingRV All set for a million miles now 👍
@MM0OPXFieldRadio now I'm fighting with "everything is too small" wanna buy a super low miles technology free truck?
I thought you left Wisconsin to avoid the snow?
Trying my best!
Curious, what was the temperature out when you two were hiking that hill?
It was in the 50s
Thanks for the video, it brings back memories. 73 de KF5HVE
Glad you enjoyed it!
What park was that?
Oliver Lee Memorial State Park
