Did you get The Green Mile 4K or Shawshank Redemption 4K? There are same drastic Image Quality differences between each previous Blu Ray version of each film.
I love both these films which I'm waiting for in the mail today and I'm dying to see Alligator restoration.
In this video I was mentioning how I miss these style movies coming out & how they were not made as big special effects driven movies but were held up by the outstanding performances of the actors & the writing & director. Both these films are such great examples of great film work that keeps you engaged for almost 3 hours long each yet you enjoy every minute, the musical scores by Thomas Newman are great in them too.
I was hoping to do Alligator 4K review but I contacted Shout Factory and they said they were not going to send out review copies, so due to budget constraints I am going to try and wait for a sale to buy it.
That’s one of the hardest parts about doing these early reviews like this Green Mile 4K I have to go out & pay full price and buy it wayyyy before release day and pay a ton extra in shipping to get this in early, so I can’t do that with every release because of how expensive that is & money limitations. I am always trying to get companies to send stuff early for review but for over the last 4 years now I simply don’t get many companies who say they send any review copies or even reply lol!!! 🤷♂️
