I cut all my products open to use the full amount. People say it's silly but I really feel like it's the morally right thing to do, considering the effort and resources that go into extracting the raw materials, R&D, production, and shipping.
I hate when people don’t go the extra mile for that last drop 😂 I get so mad when my boyfriend throws out toothpastes and what not lol I’m like “BABE 😮 I could’ve squeezed out another day?!”
Something goofy that helps me with solo meals: using pottery a friend made to eat from. It infuses the meal with a little of their love, and also, because the dishes are so beautiful, it makes everything a little more beautiful (even if I'm just plopping some fruit in some oatmeal). Also: talking about eating as "nourishing" has been a really good reframe that centers the "what would feel good to me right now?" (Which could be certain foods, but could also be lighting a candle or listing to music or doing a crossword or giving myself permission to enjoy a favorite show or whatever.) I've noticed what a big difference it makes, when a coworker apologizes for eating a snack during a meeting to say, "please! Nourish your body!/do what you need to take care of yourself!" (i.e. saying to them what I say to me). It shifts their whole energy/the whole energy of the room!

Thank you for planting that seed in my brain .. it’s ok to have fun with it and enjoy a hot girl run/walk instead of just giving up and not going because I put so much pressure on myself to run a certain amount of miles. Are used to be an avid runner. But something happened at the end of 2022 after I had surgery and then woke up with Covid. I have not had the same stamina or energy or motivation to do the mileage like I used to. I find excuses everyday preventing me from doing what I used to love ….it’s way too windy, I don’t wanna deal with the swelling of my big toe on my right foot that happens every single time after I run now. But after listening to you talk about just doing a one minute run and then walking and looking like you’re enjoying it. That’s what I’m gonna start doing just to get back at it and get out of the slump!
I not only cut the top of products open. But if you cut it off totally, you can use it as a lid, so the inner product doesn't dry out. Then I cut off a couple of inches, so it's easier to get the last stuff at the bottom. I did this with my cleanser 8 days ago, and it's still got more in there! I'm glad to see that you're taking the time to do nice things for yourself. We really do tend to just rush through life.
I love the cranberry set! I think it’s timeless, so you could wear it for years to come. I really want to work on building a curated closet, if you could do a video on how you got started with that I would appreciate it. ❤️

YES - I cut open the tubes! Hack - if you cut fully straight across halfway down the tube, then you can slip the top half over the bottom half so that it is not exposed to the elements until you are ready to use it.

I am not a mom but I take care of my sister, my grands and I try to find a balance living my youth working out, writing, studying the university. So, I think all of us should find the positive side of our lives, because we are doing it awesome.
It’s been a hard month with just dealing with my emotions and dealing with job transition after college. My workout routine even was off to a point where I questioned my own body and felt like that was a stressor because I was so off balance with everything outside of the gym.this video really helps I’m starting to feel like myself little by little each day.

Such a relatable video 1. I always would love to get cool colored leggings, but I rarely would buy the matching top, so then I didnt end up wearing them, and just end up buying black leggings so that everything matches lol. 2. Just making what you have when you are making food for yourself .. 1000% agree with this. Its just easier and your don't have to think, but it does take the love out of eating, so to speak. I share your thoughts on not enjoying making a meal for one! I’ve really taken to batch prepping into meal containers and freeze them. You can put it on a plate all cute it’s still so little work to microwave it and have a nice meal.

yeah me too re: making nice meals. Eating on the go is such a horrendous habit I got into. Basically I'd just snack and never have a real meal. I was always so unsatisfied. I find Im so much happier sitting down and eating a proper meal instead of a piece of bread , then a piece of cheese, then a handful of tomatoes lol
