    Love your video of the variety of dragon plants you got. Please do keep it up and I can’t wait to see what fruits you’ll get from which pots but mostly can’t wait to see it’s fruits and see how you describe how they will taste in your future.

    OUTSTANDING video! So many of us have a variety of varieties that we picked up here and there and have no idea what variety they are or are descended from. Good info here. Can you recommend a good source of cuttings for the yellow fruit varieties? Or do you perhaps sell? Ads I have seen so far look questionable - one guy selling "yellow dragon fruit seeds".

    I grow the Voodoo Child variety also, and they grow really fast. I have a 6 month cutting that's fruiting already. I use Dr. Earth's Bud & Bloom to fertilize.

    • @tronlegacy9133

      Hi Hank, it depends on your pot size. Usually 4 plants, one on each side of the support beam.

    Fantastic videos, thanks for sharing! We're trying to grow ours and not having a lot of success but I'm going to try grafting like in your other videos to see if I can get some traction. Just a question about these plants, do you re-pot them into a bigger pots later? I have one of my plants in a pot (probably 50% bigger than those in this video) and wondering if I need to re-pot down the track especially to promote growth.

    • @GraftingDragonFruit
      @GraftingDragonFruit  5 лет назад +2

      Thanks for watching! Dragon fruits can grow to full maturity in a 20gal-25gal pot. I have success with that size of pots. Maximum would be 4 cuttings to each pot so they have room to grow and establish roots. It sounds like it just need proper fertilization to give it a boost to promote more growth. Are you using any type of fertilizer for your Dragon fruits yet? How old are they? How many cuttings are in your pot? This will help me give better advice and tips once I know your Dragon fruits living situation. Hope to hear back!

    Hi Richard, I live in Palm Springs area, during summer the temperature is reaching 110F. Do you think red dragon fruits will be survived?

    • @GraftingDragonFruit
      @GraftingDragonFruit  5 лет назад +8

      Hi Fei Fei, Dragon Fruit thrive best in the temperature of 65F-85F. Once they reach to 100F+ they will get badly sun burn and really damage the branches. What to do to prevent this is you’ll either need to put them in shade. Or you can buy a shading cloth that is 45-55% shade and place it right over your dragon fruits. They will survive the heat with the shade cloth over them.
