What a great set of doors!!! I watched your video that shows a bunch of joints you make and I asked about a tool that cut square holes. As I watched this video, you answered my question. It's a square mortise tool/machine.

Finally Dusty’s work in longer in-depth video. A true 💎 as always. Yes oh yes! For those that are trying to learn a thing or two like my self, turn the playback speed from normal to 0,75. Only this way I can catch precious spoken details. 👽

@@dustylumberco Absolutely it is! Not just helpful but enjoyable all around. I am sure that other people, not necessarily wood enthusiasts like my self will agree as well and I am not saying all of this just to say it. Also I lived to finally see a true pro use a Milescraft drilling jig. I thought I am the only one. LOL All the best Dusty and happy holidays!

This is definitely one of the better quality videos on RUclips using quality materials and technique.
On thing is that’s a lot of machinery the average person does definitely does not have… that’s not to say alot of this can’t be done by hand or with a planer but with alot of work and wouldn’t be perfect like yours.

You did something that I accidentally did one time.
When you used the biscuit joiner on the bottom for your groove, you went all the way across from one end to the other. Most times, a barn door never slides the full width of the door. You could've stopped the groove a half inch from each end, so it wasn't exposed.
But otherwise, loved the video. Kinda like the New Canadian Workshop.
