It’s a big nerf for sure but the cd on the smokes are lower for more frequent smokes to make more attempted plays on them

Bro bang was balanced they took away her big bang which shoulda been the only thing and the auto ping really wasn’t that broken mainly bc they got rid of digi threat
Bang smoke no longer doing damage is actually a big one. The damage itself didnt matter, but people were essentially using the damage indicators as a scan behind cover especially end game.
Removing evo rewards for respawning is kind of dumb. Cant say ive seen anyone sad enough to try exploit that
One QOL thing ive wanted for 10 seasons or so now is to default to shield cell rather than syringe on drop. I dont know about anyone else, but the moment I hit the ground thats the first thing I do every game and its kinda silly that I have to... Throwback to the old land without shields days

Wraith is a huge nerf because the calling out of approaching squads was so dam useful! And now we have to choose that or huge Ult cooldown 🤦🏽♂️
You don’t want that perk for comp… team awareness is basically the same thing.
No one forgot what happened. We want the best for apex and it’s scary that that they just keep missing the mark. Cosmetics won’t fix it.
Cool idea would be that if Bangalore starts to underperform, maybe a cool addition would be to give her an Electric smoke launcher perk. Would be cool to have another Titanfall 2 style ability be added to the game.
Lifeline has got a major buff. When you see a lifeline at ring 3 tye assumption is they will have quick res AND gold res AND a million batts AND at least 1 red armour, 2 purples

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a “care package” (including lifelines) did NOT guarantee an evo cache, and which red weapon you got was random.
I would say that a CHANCE at an evo cache and a CHANCE at a kraber/wingman, vs a GUARANTEED evo and GUARANTEED gold knockdown is not a nerf.

yeah rayn didn't read it correctly. as a lifeline main, this is a huge buff imo. yeah cp weapons are cool (half of the time it drops a bow and no one ever picks it up) but i would much rather have a guarenteed gold knockdown and red armour. you'd underestimate how unbelievably clutch gold knock is with lifeline end-game. i won 2 heal offs yesterday because of it. maybe it could be a nerf for comp (we'll see i guess) but for casual and ranked it is certainly a buff. and don't even get me started on how excited i am for the infinite healing perk!
It's a nerf on comp bro they pick lifeline for care package having that CP gun is a advantage I don't see her being useful now.

@@nanskie07yeah huge nerf for high levels of play buff for pubs and low level players. If you used the strat to farm up before it was just for a red level weapon. Now it’s pointless to farm that much without getting a power spike. For end game it’s virtually pointless if everyone has already upgraded armor which is 9/10 times. Huge pointless nerf to stick her back into being stuck in low level play
Ha, they had a typo in the bang patch notes. While it originally said they removed the see nades perk, Dev notes said they removed ultimate cooldown for tactical to “promote a more meaningful choice between two core components of her kit”. I thought, ok they mean they removed the stupid big bang perk that lets you see nades, that’s not a component of her kit at all. But no…. now the patch notes are updated today and they removed the ultimate cooldown perk. How is seeing nades more relevant than her ultimate? And if they were removing her ability to lower ultimate cooldown, why did they have to also increase the base cooldown?? Bang needed a nerf, but these dev notes on bang come off a bit sloppy
I think only reason bang was strong is they keep nerfing and nerfing they only give out little buffs every month like please balance better 🙏

To ME, i see the changes to lifeline as an overall buff. But like you said, we'll just have to wait and see how her new kit play out over time.
It’s a buff and a big nerf at the same time
Downing yourself for evo points is not a viable strat each time u go down u bleed out faster. Also, you only get like 100 for each revive. So by the time u get to level 3 your teammates would just bleed out instantly. It doesnt reset on respawn.
What people do not understand with fuse is that there is no fire damage in this game. It is considered explosive damage. So taking 50% less also effects your tactical, Ultimate and thermite grenades. He should in theory take no damage from his ultimate with the combination of both perks in his upgrades making him almost a suicide bomber who doesnt actually blow himself up. Not to mention just taking less damage from enemy grenades and explosive style moves like Gibbys Ultimate. 20 dmg instead of 40 dmg is huge.
Rayn imma keep it a buck wit u fam. I ain't buying ANYTHING until they give everyone an heirloom. Just because the final fantasy event worked doesn't mean people with mains are ok with getting shafted with a catch all be all heirloom. I know there's like 2 of us but as a Newcastle main I'm disappointed..I don't even care bout the hack situation cuz I'm on console but dang man. Whadda bout Maggie Newcastle etc..this why I'm quitting for finals and siege. High key tired of death boxes too that's CRAZY.
Thy need to do the same thing they did with ballistic for ash, she does not need her level 2s either one or the other with the extended snare
They NEED to add a top 3 for picking a legend. I main Wraith, but Caustic and Mirage are my other top 2 muscle-memory instinct legends. Let me pick a queue in my profile to auto select wraith, but if she’s taken, then go to caustic, then mirage.
That way I can ready up, go take a piss, refill the bowl with Funyuns, and top off the Mountain Dew without getting back and realizing the game put me on a legend I have little to no time with.

So I picked up vantage during season 20. I think for her first perk choice, instead of being able to use the ring console, they should change it to where her ult loses the laser. Meaning you can’t detect when you’re being aimed at by vantage. Would that be op?

Bummed about the fact that Ash is even less appealing now, with Wraith getting her portal CD down to 2 minutes which is identical to the Phase Tear CD 🙁
35:47 See I understand your concern. There are 2 things worth noting.
1) The old Care package was inconsistent. There is a 25% chance you get a wingman, and a 50% chance you get an Evo cache. if you hit the Jackpot you basically won in lower level then high level play. That's not to say you couldn't play around that inconsistency, but only as you say, really high level teams could deal with that.
2) Guaranteeing the Evo cache and a Gold Knock is a power spike, but not for her team as much necessarily, but for Lifeline herself. Whether or not that pans out as better or worse we shall see. I'd rather take a guaranteed thing than a random gamble though, even if that guarantee is 20% worse than the peak of the gamble.
Not spending a dime on the heirloom. EA making the heirloom free is the LEAST they could have done after the hacking fiasco.

I main caustic and if you landed at a ring console before the drops dropship ended you should hit the console twice for 400 Evo that's now gone you just get the original 200 and it will just say ring rescan😅 😅 fun while it lasted, my team usually had blue Evo before all the players even left the ship 😂
I'm not good enough to always get lifelines ult fast but the last five times I did it was only ever the bow check and no Evo catch. Which sucked. I'd much prefer having a decent chance at a res shield for lifeline in general over a red tier gun. But again I'm like a gold or not great platinum player

I just got a penalty on Ranked after my game crashed and Ive had another crash were i could get into the game cause it keep looping the error. But guess they dont care

I kind hate Eva, clip is so f small, and if you're two bodies far is mid tier at best. I found and EVA and i got a purple Prowler, I and keep the prowler.

I think they just don't want Lifeline to be good. I mean on revival she does nothing unless she has a gold knockdown, and then teams immediately focus fire whoever is getting revived. If your taking health damage, you're already at a disadvantage. And New Castle who has her old passive was taken away. Also if Lifeline goes down, more than likely she getting thirsted. Mirage and New Castle are both really better combat medics in my opinion. And tbh I can care less about a gold backpack especially with this tactical buff. Then what if you get a gold 40-40, and nobody wants it. The care package becomes useless. Same currently if I get an Eva 8. The weapon is in a care package and people still don't want it. Tbh I'm not a happy camper, especially with my mains being Bang, Lifeline, and Conduit. 😢😓

did you even read the notes? this is a buff, not a nerf. we aren't getting gold weapons, we are getting guarenteed gold knock, red evo, and gold backpack. idk about you but i would much rather have all of those rather than potentially dropping a bow which nobody will pick up and potentially not getting an evo cache either. idk how you play lifeline but as a lifeline main since season 3, this is the strongest she has ever been imo. the infinite doc completely makes up for the lack of fast healing and that was probably my least favourite nerf in apex history. i am stoked about these changes.
This is a major buff, charging whoever is getting res usually gets a team killed as they overextend.
Bro was tripping over lifeline being “nerfed” when in all reality she got better with her new perk. Like way better.

it's still up against the single self revive which is no match really. either buff self revive speed or give us two revives instead of one.@@loadshedding_

Raynday I love your videos and content , specially your tier list videos and your update on the situation with the hacker , I want to say something from my heart about everything with the hacker situation and Respawn being Incompetent.
This is funny , they don't have time to focus on the BIG problem they have with the hacker , but they have time to make events and heirlooms that no one is going to play in if they don't make a new security update because with the last ( the only ) update they made It didn't do anything and they game is still unsafe to play. I know the hacker said he has no bad intentions and he is doing this so show Respawn that they have a BIG security problem, but this situation opened the door for more unethical hackers and they are SCARY.
So in my Opinion: DONT SPEND ANY MONEY ON APEX because Respawn doesn't care about your safety , they only care about how much will you spend on the game, I am not a hater I love the game since season 6 but the first time this happened from the hackers ( SAVE TITANFALL 2 ) and it was scary but I said its ok but this time its 100 times worst and I cant look away.

Nice that they made some small quality of combat updates, smoke launcher not doing an annoying 10 damage is GREAT. Caustic’s gas slow not being indefinite is GREAT. Healthy for the game and combat.
Love the gold weapon change because I’d rather pick those up over Kraber or Bow. Hate the Bang changes. I have already been playing lifeline more, going to play her more now

Teams often abuse red care package weapons.
You're wrong about seer's upgrades. Ult cooldown is level 2 and long view is level 3. So all ult tier 2 and all tac tier 3.
I doubt the 700 dollar herloon will be peoples priority

All these Bang nerfs are so unnecessary. The sad part is that they removed digis from SMGs too. That was my go to loadout cuz its the best site to aim with. These pros constantly always crying about something man.
It doesn’t make any sense. She was strong but didn’t feel that cheap last year then got big nerfs to each part of her kit. Worse double time, worse smokes, 4 minute ult. I thought it would suck but then I got used to it. Now they are just going too far.
The only way I see Lifelines’ ult being good is if your primary is the gold weapon

People have been complaining about her with path being No Ult chars, and they finally make her ult useful if you get evo charge just to take it away MIDSEASON?? Im just happy im not a pro dealing with that

The reduction in explosive damage may not makes sense now. But I have a feeling they’ve implemented that perk now because respawn is cooking up something that may introduce a meta that includes explosives. It being a legend or weapons idk just a feeling but mark my words.

I just can not. I can not play this game every day with Olympus AND broken moon in rotation 🤢 it won’t happen. Either of those maps are terrible. Back to back they are unbearable.
