Look forward to seeing a video of it in operation. A lot of upgrades and changes from the ones I've seen years ago. Always great to see your commitment to equipment Mike.
It is great to see Mike showing up every once in awhile and it's even better when he gets a new piece of equipment just like he did he went over and what is his expectacions of it are. Me up I was probably one of many that mentioned we'd like to see more of Mike even though we know he's busy and again thank you Mike because without you and your consent and interest there would be no videos thanks again good luck to you boys keep on rolling
Great commentary on the new machine Mike! We look forward to see it running. Say Hey to Kim for me. I'm the Augusta Ga friend who has experienced what John, you and kim went through. :) :) I'm still praying for all of you.
This was great. John we Love ya but is always neat when the big boss man gets involved In the vids. Keep up the great work and content u provide john I know we all appreciate it. So fun to watch. P.S. love the new TIGER too!!
That is one mean cord wood cutting machine. Add a trailer with a grapple arm and pallet jack and right in the residential garage with reusable bags it goes. Beautiful user friendly production machine.
Great setup it should be able too cut a lot of wood in a day. Mike will have you running that in your free time to help fill the orders lol. Just keep Rollin and keep up the great video's
That is a neat machine. Are you going to run it for us next week? I hope so. At your age or any age you and I should expose yourself to new things. We should always be doing new things and getting out of our comfort zone.John give it a try..
Nice setup, I love the idea of a vertical drop splitter chamber, one thing I struggle with is what happens when you get a chunk you don’t want to split? A giant knot, or a crotch in the middle of the log? I want yoy opinion, again, really nice machine.
Hey they make thoes processor units only a few miles from my house lol. Decent machines did you check the ones made by bells machine shop they are just across the street from cordking near my home town
Ok Mike near the end you said to post questions in the comments here's mine, why are you cutting up good bolts into firewood when bolts will be heading into the 120$ range and there will still be oak firewood piled up all over northern Michigan you can buy for cheap?
Brian R we don’t pull any logs under 10 inches so I realize there are scragg logs in our firewood. We have always chipped them so that our chip quality is high and our chips pay more than scragg at this time and so does our firewood. Basically the firewood in our yard would have been chipped if not pulled for firewood
Which Rex did you run? How did you like it? Where did you run it? Ive seen them and Im very curious and Ive asked if they had a rep in the U S but Haven’t spoke to anyone yet
@@jimmyrup I operated a Rex 600, a job I had in NZ, purchased directly from Whitlands Engineering AU. What I liked about it is you just pushed the rings through without double handling, great for hardwood. The bigger model does it automatically. I could slice rings up to 4' in diameter by nibbling each corner. The company later purchased a log saw after I left, yes I'd cut them up using a MS660 before that.
Todd Nichols It’s rated to process 10 full cords an hour if it’s big diameter. I feel safe to say that we could do a 100 face Cord’s a day in our wood if we want to.
Mike Buffing we do both most people buy their wood early and season it themselves, we try to have dry wood in the windy to sell but usually run out before spring
@@kubotaman3440 that rig probably sells for $150 K so at a 33% profit margin $200 per cord it will probably take 2250 cords which they should be able to do in 2-3 years
Look forward to seeing a video of it in operation. A lot of upgrades and changes from the ones I've seen years ago. Always great to see your commitment to equipment Mike.
Nice to see you growing Mike! Pretty exciting markets we are heading into, your optimism is very helpful, Thanks a bunch!
Brian
I like how proud Mike is of his equipment and how doesn't mind spending the money on the extras
Thank you for the video Mike and John 😎👍🇬🇧. Can’t wait to see the machine in operation.

That's quite a machine Mr John. I'm glad to hear that you have lots of wood orders. I bet that machine is costly. Thanks for the video.
Looks like a sweet machine.
Nice add on's. I had to put a rubber mat for my knees gets to Hot
That is one mean cord wood cutting machine. Add a trailer with a grapple arm and pallet jack and right in the residential garage with reusable bags it goes. Beautiful user friendly production machine.
That thing looks awesome
looks like a great piece of gear. Hope it works well for you.
Fantastic piece of kit. It make my Riko 36WP look VERY small. (14" max diameter) I dont have a moving feed table either.
Thanks mike for the nice video
Thank u mike and john for this video
Impressive machine.
Great setup it should be able too cut a lot of wood in a day. Mike will have you running that in your free time to help fill the orders lol. Just keep Rollin and keep up the great video's

Great video guys, Hope to see a video of It In action.
That's a verry nice unit
Very cool would like to see it in action one day if you could put that up thanks
Looks good.
The boss man did all the talking did anyone else notice that or just me. Mr. Mike seems like a good one to work for.
Don't look like Mike's veen pulling hair. I think he's been packingsome back in! Prayers, BLESSINGS and Goomer HUgs and for Grandpa too!

I feel like this machine would take out the fun
when are we going to see a video of this beast running/processing?
Nice wood processor
Nice! I think I would want a bit thicker piece of plexiglass between me and that saw though LOL
Very nice
Can't wait to see you running that John lol
Sweet!
We run a cord king and we’re constantly working on it
Cool!
Looks like a bobcat or two will keep that splitter busy for quite a while.
That is a neat machine. Are you going to run it for us next week? I hope so. At your age or any age you and I should expose yourself to new things. We should always be doing new things and getting out of our comfort zone.John give it a try..
I don't know if John really wants an air conditioning so you could save on that.
Nice setup, I love the idea of a vertical drop splitter chamber, one thing I struggle with is what happens when you get a chunk you don’t want to split? A giant knot, or a crotch in the middle of the log? I want yoy opinion, again, really nice machine.
I’m jealous. My chainsaw and super splitter gets tiring after awhile. But if it doesn’t have Bluetooth I don’t want it. Lol
Impressive machine. nice with AC for operator. Chip on, or split on.........LOL
I'll run it!
Nice setup! is that the boss and pops?
Hey they make thoes processor units only a few miles from my house lol. Decent machines did you check the ones made by bells machine shop they are just across the street from cordking near my home town
You definitely DON'T want to go with a bells
bells is a P O S
Looks great, very nice unit!
Does the saw have inserted teeth?
....13
arkansas13 yes it uses the same teeth our slashers use in the woods
There plant is near where I am... Nice processor... Didn't go for a Bell maching processor with the tumbler all in one?
craig heideman Kinda partial to Cord King, we’ve had one for 9 years and it served us well. I have looked at Bell and must say they are well built.
bells is a P O S
I had one and nothing but problems.....lots of problems....a nightmare
MIKE DID YOU CHECK OUT THE MULITEK LINE?

Mike that is set up real nice.
Are you going to run the 48" also ?
VideosByAl No I’m planning on selling it
What the cost. How many cords do you do a year. Thank you
.
How MUCH was that HOUL set up i do 5k face CORDS a YEAR. I need that set up.
Nice piece of kit! I used to operate a Rex Processor,.. loved it! Do you need an operator?
Which Rex did you run?
How did you like it?
Where did you run it?

What is a slasher?
do you guys sell your used ones? Im in the market for a used one. How much can i get a used one for?
So with all the bells and whistles and conveyors and everything together mind if we ask what the cost was. I am going to go with $60-$80,000.
I think double that 80 x 2
This is about 180k
that's nice setup mike ...just seems like lot $$$ for splitiin firewood guess you guys sell lot of it there
jeff skewes ya better have a load a day going out I know I got one. And it ain't cheap and that's a Cadillac.lol
real curious how much$$
Now that will put some wood in a pile.
How much does it cost
Can you get some video of this new equipment in action
JDS Lawncare & Landscape yes we’re going to next week
Mike & Kim Cook ok cool
How many cords of wood can you process per day with this unit?
Todd Nichols It’s rated to process 10 full cords an hour if it’s big diameter. I feel safe to say that we could do a 100 face Cord’s a day in our wood if we want to.
Do you season the wood as logs or after its split?
if split, takes less time to season...
Mike Buffing we do both most people buy their wood early and season it themselves, we try to have dry wood in the windy to sell but usually run out before spring
What is the cost for a cord of wood delivered nowadays
memyselfand ifarmer We’re getting $60 per face Cord delivered within 25 miles, additional $2 per loaded mile after that.
How long to split a 10 cord load?
Aaron Buck We do a 10 face cord load in 30-40 minutes
You just showed us how to jam your machine now you have to get out and remove the log
Would this really pay for itself?
Absolutely with the amount of firewood they do
Most likely its takes 1000 cord to break even
@@kubotaman3440 that rig probably sells for $150 K so at a 33% profit margin $200 per cord it will probably take 2250 cords which they should be able to do in 2-3 years
Hey what’s your contact info! Thinking of buying a cord king tumbler.
Got to spend money to make money.
Good way to spend $100 grand
