Amalee and other cover artists do this because American/English songs are usually in a different key than Japanese songs. It’s why some amateur cover artists just sing over the original instrumentals and there’s just something off about the singing. It’s just that with different languages people associate them with different key signatures.

I originally watched it dub. Then rewatched sub 8 times under the course of like 4 months. I tried watching dub but it was a lil hard to watch. Ains voice is super good its so cool but everyone else sounds silly

It’s why some amateur cover artists just sing over the original instrumentals and there’s just something off about the singing. It’s just that with different languages people associate them with different key signatures.
