RIP A22 | 2022 Syracuse University Red-Tailed Hawks Cam Highlights May 6 - June 20

This Red-tailed hawk nest built on a ledge in the corner of an archway on Lyman Hall at Syracuse University. The devoted, mated hawk pair, SU-Sue (female) and Otto (male) have been nesting there since 2012.
This year is the first time in ten years that SU-Sue have laid four eggs, on March 18, 21, 24, and 27. All four hatched on April 27, 28 and May 1,4, numbered A22, B22, C22 and D22.
Sadly, A22 and D22 exhibited signs of possible injuries to their eyes and mouths; the cause is unknown. A22 died in the nest on June 19, 2022. D22 fledged the nest on June 20, was rescued the next day.

B22: Apr 28 hatched, Jun 14 fledged (47 days old)
C22: May 1 hatched, Jun 17 fledged (47 days old)
D22: May 4 hatched, Jun 20 fledged (47 days old), Jun 21 rescued
