It's not that i dislike the ship itself, it's just that i absolutely fucking hate how they decided to play it out so out of the blue. It was like they decided last moment, after almost 6 season with NO buildup of Alluras romantical feelings towards Lance, and were like "ah fuck this is too hard we just want it to be canon" and just included the blushy blush scene. Again, that screams poor writing. A fanfiction has way better writing and buildup than this show has. So yeah, fuck Allurance.
I agree with you, I know my charming comment might not tell my very complex reasoning, but I don't understand how they expect us to believe she only now have feeling for him. If you take miraculous ladybug, when chat noir flirts with ladybug she doesn't flat out rejects him or ignore the poor guy, she replies with a funny remark that is the foundation of their friendship and love for each other. In the case of Allura and Lance, she either ignore the guy or we only see Lance's side and never what Allura's thinking. We don't even know how any of them feel about each other, expect Keith towards Shiro (stop sheith please, he's like a father figure you don't fuck your dad, only other peeps dad if you want). Even Hunk and Pidge romance was brought up, because they work in the same field... like wow we had the same classes so understand each other, we need to fuck. I understand they are kind of close, but speaking of same hobbies it's Lance and Pidge who are the closest, since they both like video games. Coran and Hunk would be a ship since they both like cooking. Shiro and Allura's dad since they both like dying. Like except Lance love for Allura, we know jack shit about everyone feelings. We didn't get an episode just talking about how they feel, they could simply put everyone alone on a solar system different (again) and see who they think about first and how they miss each other and voila we know how they feel. Even recap episode can do that, highlighting important moments in relationship to show where they are in those.
