Another Covid-19 lockdown project completed finally! I hope it provides a laugh during a tough year. This tribute pretty much showcases the physical comedy of Jared Keeso which really adds depth to his character, Wayne.
No copyright infringement intended. Please support and continue to watch this great show. Letterkenny is a hilarious Canadian comedy from Crave and Hulu and you can stream it on their platforms. Honestly, watching this show is helping me get through lockdown. I hope it garners some interest from you as well. Приколы
Alternate Title: Man stands up powerfully for 5 minutes straight.
It kills me when he sits up in bed fully clothed and lights a smoke lol That is like straight out of a Wes Anderson movie
This whole show is reminiscent of a Wes Anderson movie.
That's the only way to beat the December fap challenge.
I’m on my 29th night of trying to re-create that scene, but I keep cracking up as soon as I reach for my smokes.
@@Seabee156 that's awesome lol
Reminds me of krisoferson in fantastic mr fox
Keeso is the worlds best standup comedian.
I see what you did there.
Ba-Dum Tiss
Well played my guy
beat me to it :D
PFFFFFFFF sTaNd uP CoMediAN LOL
Wayne with any dog is the best thing ever. Between holding every dog like it’s a baby and the “oowh” when he sees a puppy.
I knew I wasn’t the only one that appreciated the oowh with the puppy ahahha
He is such a boh
Legend has it, wayne doesn't ever stand up. He just pushed the earth down ever so slightly.
this comment deserves more likes
Chunk Norris would be be so proud.
A new person for Chuck Norris jokes.
He may sink the earth, but Michelle makes it rise.
that butt clench is the single most funniest thing in this show lmao
I laughed out loud when it happened.
I should put that on a 10 hour loop for you!
Happened a bit ago still laughin
That's Canadas ass.
@@Rogue_Arrow that’s 100% ‘berta beef.
"Getting any easier?"
*Snipes walks by*
"Yup"
That billet sister is a rocket!
Take 15 to 20% off there bud
I wanted to see her face after Rosie walked by because that would have given me so much satisfaction xD
That good, slow, burn.
Mannnnnnnnn Rosie is one helluva hottie... and her timing was impeccable
At the end, you just know Rosie was listening at the door for the best time to walk out. Power move.
Truth...
She knows what she's about.
Yup
Yer a great fuckin' gal, Rosie.
That’s whats I appreciates abouts hers.
I love the way his angrily tosses the hay bale when he sees dierks like he just fucken yeets that thing
I hope season 9 opens with the epic beat down of ol long dick Dierks.
@@dp2901 Wayne never did like him, and he hurt Katy. Never trust a dude who dresses in ugg boots, track pants and a t shirt but has preened his hair and face the way dierks did
It's farken barley.
That's gotta be at least a 50 lbs bale of hay
@@traeherren2269 "its not hay, its barley"
Wayne has POWERFUL legs.
Ex hockeyplayer ya know. Of course he does.
Jared has powerful everything
Phillip Stai add on to that he’s a farmer
Must be all the chorin
@Wyrm Wolf Never skip Neck Day.
0:50 where she keeps the dog at eye level even after he stands up
. . . is that a three legged dog?
Somebody once described Wayne's posture as stiff yet relaxed. Makes sense considering how he's stoic to the point where's he practically a living statue yet he never seems uncomfortable
I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the show it's revealed that wayne is actually a robot built by Canadian scientists equipped with ai composed of all the virtues of Canadian rural life. I mean the way that man moves
More like ex military. Since he likes everything neat and orderly.
I honestly thought he was autistic at first and honestly it's still a possibility
prylosec or something also a possibility. He gives a lot of references to military procedures I think that’s more likely. But he does show signs of aspergers
@@tenkenroo And how he can kick some serious ass.
@@danielwalker26 oh ya. That to. Guys a Canadian Brock Samson
One of the best physical acts Keeso does is over-aggressively ducking away from a lamp overhead as he’s walking away from Katy and the speed dating woman in season 2. I spit my drink out first time I saw that.
Do you know what episode that was by any chance?
@@trussedseeker6223 You probably saw it by now, but I just found out about this series and watched the episode 2 days ago. Season 2, episode 3: Relationships
That slanted beam gets me everytime
"Breast or thigh guy?"
*Gets one last look and then to the left*
It's so weird whenever I actually see the colors of his eyes. He's like those anime characters whose eyes are just (-_-)
Brock
I think its why i keep laughing my ass off at some of the faces he makes in Shoresy. Its like watching Paul Gross in Slings and Arrows after watching Due South.
Me before watching the video
“This is just gonna be a compilation of Wayne standing up isn’t it?”
Yep.
Wayne has got just such a soft spot in his heart for dogs and puppies
So, it's funny when he stands up.
My favorite one is when I kicks Devon in the rear. 😂
Yep.
Can confirm
Absolutely
Allegedly
I’d love to show this to someone with no context of letterkenny. Please watch this show about a man who stands up and holds dogs
Thats what i was wondering
That is me. I've seen some of the highlights reels but watching this man stand up for 5 minutes was amusing
Never seen the show before in my life and I can confidently say, I'm fucking confusled
My only exposure to the show has been this video, one of Bonnie, and a compilation of women's hockey players. The hockey players roasting each other alone was so foul and funny that I will be looking to watch the entire series going forward.
Congratulations, that would be me. Today is the first time I’ve come across Letterkenny.
I have been binge watching the crap out of this show for the last week. Wayne is one of my favorite characters ever. He is tough, honorable, looks out for his sister and his friends. He passes that knowledge on to little Samuel, big brothers are to protect little sisters, you only get one family and they are to be loved and respected. He doesn't cheat on his girlfriends. Doesn't take advantage of Bonnie when she would be the easiest takedown in history. Wayne is as about a decent man as there has been on TV in a long while.
I just love that "Oh, Bonnie McMurry"
I love the bits they do on this show but honestly I don’t know if I’ve laughed harder at it than the “getting any easier? Yup”
Wayne is Wes Anderson’s take on Brock Samson
I understood that reference
🤣 you’re totally right. He’s Canadian Brock Samson.
Wayne is very much a Napoleon Dynamite type guy with the movements lol
Forgot the whole bit where he's doing an impression of a baby to prove a point
I debated throwing that in, but it was kind of a long bit and I didn't want to get flagged.
@@dp2901 fair enough
3:21 best part tbh
Jonesy and Riley - “Toughest guy in letterkenny”
Wayne:
*SQUEEZES ASSCHEEKS WITH CLENCHING HARMFUL INTENT*
The way he slightly trails off when he talks kills me everytime.
A couple hockey player came up to the produce stand the other dayyyyyyy..
I really wish someone would make a compilation of every time Wayne reacts by going "Oh!"
I think the only one this video missed was at the stumper where Dan (I think?) brings out the aviation fuel.
Still feel bad for Wayne after what happened with Marie-Fred. They're beginning to hint at some fairly tough shit that happened to Wayne when he was young (from things Katy said when he was self-medicating in the snowmobile shack it's implied they both might have had a bit of a rough childhood), and the way he reacts to certain things, like the blinking a lot after Marie-Fred says, "It's been a pretty tough go, eh?" it seems like there's some turmoil in Wayne's head. Just another thing that makes this show awesome beyond the hilarious lowbrow humor.
I think they hinted at Wayne and Katy having a tough up-bringing when they did “The softest birthday party ever” and Daryl essentially tells Squirrely Dan that the only reason he even keeps them going is because Wayne and Katy never got to celebrate theirs so while theyre planning the softest birthday party ever, everything they order/make for the party is what they wouldve wanted at their party, if that makes sense
I’ll never forgive that French-Canadian trollop.
I still don't agree with the route the writers took with Marie-Fred. Her and Wayne were awesome
ProblemSolvingIce I kind of want Wayne to get with Bonnie mcmurray
@@tenkenroo that has been the ship for seasons my friend.
That 5 sec scene of him gasping at the girlfriend’s puppy just cracks me up
The man's got some CORE strength
this, and most other blocking choices in letterkenny, are a major reason why the show is funny. the show makes use of a lot of very rigid blocking, mostly pertaining to wayne, but the order characters sit in is almost always consistent, the way people run, sit, stand is often completely identical every time. the hard blocking makes for great jokes, setting up expectations and subverting them with nothing but standing up and camera work, and Jared Keeso and his crew know exactly what they're doing when they do it like that.
Best comment on here for what makes it work
The last scene at the end is priceless.
It’s amazing how after watching the previews for shorsey jared keeso is a master at physical comedy. As Wayne he is both fluid and rigid in how he moves. As shorsey he is a lot my laid back in all his mannerisms. This is a guy who knows how to use all his actions o generate comedy
I just found the new Shoresy clips...
Genius. I can't wait until the the 13th!
@@dp2901 same it’s going to be interesting
I love it when he makes those sounds at 3:27 3:53 and 4:50 .
Press all of these on repeat it gets funnier
@@raenkord7881 I did after I made the comment. XD But then I discovered he made the sound again when he was having his engagement party when I think Dan offered to use aviation fuel (I think) for the bonfire.
Okay but shout-out all the camera operators who add so much more to the stand-up with that slight pan up.
[Stands up under a support beam and instantly conforms to the incline.]
I never noticed the feet when Tannice told Shoresy about the other team until now lmfao
Dog:
Wayne: O H
Van:
Wayne: O H
that's the only time in the show he makes those fucken sounds, too
Wayne is super stoic, but he shows emotions in his own way.
Wayne: Well, Back to Chorin’
Wayne moves like a PS2 era GTA character model
It's a simple thing, but if he's really taking it this far, it shows an impressive level of commitment.
I'll never get over just how hard he yeets that bale of barley the moment he sees Dierks.
At 2:15, I'm wondering if Katie and Tanis knew the beer shower was coming. If they knew it was going to happen, they are great actors. The look on their faces was priceless :-)
2:02 is the funniest frame you may have missed the first time watching episode. Also further evidence of Keeso’s genius.
The man who mans-spread........... STANDING!
Legend has it Wayne is actually shoresy 😂😂💯
Lotttt to dissect here I'll just say 2 things
1. Wayne has an incredible soft spot for dogs and it's amazing and beautifully pure
2. Music in the show is fantasic, I always hear clips of really good songs. Ex. 4:23 This too shall pass - OkGo
you know the song at 3:09?
I have no idea why Wayne moves like that, but it is hysterical and I love it.
My absolute favorite is in one of the first episodes where he’s got the dog in a full Nelson at the table. That will never not be some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen.
Always in flannel and denim. Wayne is ALWAYS. FECKIN. READY!
When this man stands up, it goes down.
One of my favorite physical things he does is the way he holds Gus the dog.
"Pitter patter 😞"
He’s become an icon in such a quick time. It’s the repetition of his mannerisms that make Letterkenny brilliant.
Powerful legs for standing and kicking. Never running...Wayne doesn't run. Period.
Like Chuck Norris. Leg day?
Their inclusion of this too shall pass by ok go actually made me tear up. That song helped me through some shit.
Did I just watch 5 minutes of a man standing up
Maybe ... just maybe ... Wayne’s secret superhero identity is CAPTAIN CANUCK !
People keep saying he should play Wolverine next and I LOVE that idea
I visit my old man every week. He asks for what's good to watch. I said there's a show called Letterkenny, it's about Canadians, one of them stands up a lot. He gives me a look like I explained string theory and says its the dumbest thing he's heard.
He'd already caught up by the next week.
I wonder how much work went into getting Wayne's body language down.
The standing up under the beam, and the waking up for a dart scenes will never jot bring me near tears
When Dierks shoes up and Wayne just HURLS that haybale. Lol Would've made my dad smile.
Kramer-esque level of physical comedy
No
Never thought I'd be so entertained watching someone stand up. Then along comes Wayne. Lmao
Just make him WOLVERINE ALREADY!
Lowkey too tall but so was Jackman
@@josephkyle6271 He is a big step in the right direction so already more accurate lol.
@@love55ickbeat5 oh he’d def rock the role though
Wayne stands up......... Canadian physical comedy at its finest.
Thanks to Wayne I stand up like him now
Such a stand-up guy.
One of the greatest shows ever devised.
When tanis spits and Wayne’s jaw drops 😂😂
How long do you think it took him to perfect that stand up move? He does it the same way every time
Wayne reminds me so much of my younger brother Joe, it’s scary but awesome...
When he stands up with his head out of shot. God damn I love this show
That last scene got me good 😂
This show has definitely become my second favorite of all time.
What’s ur first? Just curious
The ending was just a power move..... i love it xD
Based on that stance alone, I could see this guy playing a younger Michael Myers if they ever reboot the franchise again.
Bruhhh. Now that you say that, I see what you mean.
Someone said he should be the next Wolverine and I kinda dig that idea
Dude has a jawline of granite
I had no idea what Letterkenny is. Now, I somehow feel like I know even less than before.
And even watching the show you will feel like you know less and less
That last scene was my favorite!
No one can stand better than Wayne. And I suggest you let that one marinate
Wayne’s facial expression at 1:32 kills me every time. It’s the only time he had ever shown ANY emotion.
4:24 me and the boys looking for some beans at 2:00 A.M
He is the definition of an alpha male
Robert Corona yikes
I am HALF the male, still doin alright
Robert Corona In a primate species? It is always the female. He is also a valid charicature of a Yooper man. But then again, Sudbury is only a coue hours east of the Soo.
The scientist who created the term in wolf classification later wrote a series of papers disavowing the term and noted that the social dynamics that form them only occur in captivity.
Lol... thank you for that!
Wayne is the man I aspire to be.
4:45 she found the off switch 😂
I am going to start standing up like that and freak people out. 😂🤣
Wayne stands up like he's doing a deadlift lol
Wayne has the same energy standing up that Commander Riker has sitting down.
Wayne and dogs. A match made in heaven...
I can't even stand how good looking Jared Keeso is.
that last scene is gold
No one assume a standing position like Wayne
Wayne has mastered the art of aggressively standing up
