As someone who has seen the full video until he unfortunately dies, I must say that it was one of the most terrifying thing to see as I have not seen people *actually dying* in camera. As of now, I'm still really traumatized as I am still a teenager.
Something similar happened to me at the beach. Thank God my older sibling looked back and grabbed me when the waves was pulling me away. I still don’t swim at the sea after that. Also I still appreciate my older sibling and treat him as a father figure after that.
He wasn't being couteous, those are old type of elevator used in building, you had to close the cage looking gate so that the lift goes up or down so he was doing just that but the wooden door closed on him and lift started moving
That’s devastating. My heart goes out to his family & especially his siblings who probably live with a lot of trauma from it. Always look behind you y’all & check on the little ones because all it takes is a split second.
The wooden doors didn't close themselves, the two other siblings closed the door on him and while he tried to open it, the elevator started going up and he was crushed in between the wall. So in fact the siblings unintentionally caused his death

I have a brother of the age of 10.. I never let him use the lift alone. A few days ago I had visited his house... He wanted to go out and play with his peers in the apartment building... I told him its okay to be late for a play, but I won't allow you to use lift by your own... Let alone if anyone's there with you of your age, that won't happen either. You either wait for someone adult to accompany you, or use stairs. He lives on the third floor. And that sad incident with the poor kid had recently just happened... 😭
Elevator accidents are so frightening. I have seen so many videos of them and it makes me so much more cautious on elevators. I always pay attention to everyone I am with and make sure they are fully on/off the elevator. I wait for the doors to fully open before getting on/off and get on/off as rapidly as possible. The doors are the deadly part. That poor child. He didn't have a chance. What a nightmare for his family 😔
As the oldest of 3 siblings i grew up taking care of my siblings most of the time and these kinds of news give me immeasurable anxiety. This is why when we do things i always make sure be the last one or at the back so i can observe them and keep them at eye length during risky situations. It's so horrifying knowing one of my younger sister or brothers might get into these accidents and die. May that boy rest in peace.
I tried scrolling and continuing with my life after watching this but I couldn't, I feel something I can't even explain about this, its one of the saddest things I have ever seen on youtube ..its just how much 5 year olds are precious and important to the people around them ..after knowing and have watched someone grow and make progress from the day they were born until they are 5 years old, it would be impossible to imagine waking up without them in your life ..all the innocence, their love and potential they had would be part of your life to the point where you would be identified by their exact existence, they became a source of your motivation and drive, watching them makes you smile and fills your hurt with joy and so much happiness, it would hurt to suddenly be told that all of that gone .. The way that all happened no one would have expected it ..they probably used the elevator alone so many times that it wasn't even supposed to be problem, right ..RIP little one💕
Why are kids younger than 8 yrs old wandering around their apt bldg all by themselves? Besides the danger of a poorly designed elevator, any one of them could have been abducted by strangers with nefarious intent. Plus if their parents trusted them to go around by themselves, they should have been taught to look out for each other. If the other 2 siblings weren't aware their brother got injured, then they weren't taught that lesson. May that poor child RIP.
In Saudi Arabia children below 13 or 12 are NOT allowed to access the elevator alone without any supervising of parents or a security guard They put the sign in mostly hotels and big places like hospitals (that has elevators)
I also have a fear of elevators. Not a fear of claustrophobia, but a fear of getting stuck or a fear that the elevator would fall and I would die in it. Apparently that doesn’t have a name. Also, for some reason, I seem to be perfectly fine when going with someone else. When I go by myself tho, my heart starts pounding and I fear of the worst.
Same when we went at someone's house we were lucky we took the stairs instead of the elevator because the lights went out for a long time and in the apartment for some reason it look all empty
That is so said…I can’t believe he went out like that he had so much ahead of him…. I can’t imagine the pain of it and it was a quick death more than likely…. He will fly high 🕊
May the kid rest in peace and hope his brothers are doing fine right now. That must have been terrifying and really traumatizing to see someone's death in action Infront of you. Mostly when It's one of your loved ones(Family) or friends , or even pet's! As an overthinker person, I always refuse to use elevator and escalators because of those real accidents that happened to some people I've sawn in the internet so I usually prefer walking with the stairs 🙂, and I do use elevator sometimes but that doesn't stop me from stressing out.

The most sad part for me is that he was being courteous in ensuring the door was fully closed, and in doing so, he took too long and got stuck

I told him its okay to be late for a play, but I won't allow you to use lift by your own... Let alone if anyone's there with you of your age, that won't happen either.
