    Great video Dave, did you know Reach-IT has a specific brush for solar panels called the Solar Rocker, it’s a completely different shape to the Radial Rocker 👍🏻

      Yes I know but I can’t afford another so I thought that the Rocker would be a good all rounder

    Do you recommend turning off the solar panels' electrical load before cleaning them? If yes, how long before turning power back on??

    Brilliant video Dave. I haven’t used one since I’ve been a window cleaner, but at my previous job I used one of these mobile scaffold towers a number of times and they are absolutely brilliant 👍.
    PS. Which brush head were you using on the conservatory windows please?

      Hi Kev
      I use a streamline brush to apply the chemical then I was using the 35cm Xline flocked brush with a centre rinse bar to scrub with.

    Great vid Dave.
    I'm starting to focus more on Solar panels with so many being fitted.
    Do you price up per panel or just come up with a price when you have loads all together?
    Cheers.

    Great video, thank you. I need to wash my solar panels but need to get at them from the apex as I’m in a terrace. Do you think this brush would work well against gravity, if you see what I mean? Many thanks

      @squeakycleandave1  Год назад +1

      It’s a heavy brush at 800gm so if you have to lean out a long way it’s hard but once you are on the panels it’s own weight pushes down on them

    Hi Dave, great video as per usual, very informative. Have you come accross solar panels with really tough alga?? If so what would you say the best way to tackle that is? I don't use any chemicals on solar pannles. Also im charging £5 a pannel is that the going rate?
    Thanks Joe

      Hi Joe
      I charge £5/panel but it depends on the area that you live. I know some charge up to £12/panel.
      I find the best way to get rid of the really tough lichen is to use biocide. It’s not instant but it will work over time
      The only problem with using biocide is it may affect the warranty on the panel even though it won’t cause any damage so it’s worth getting the customer to check with the manufacturer before you use it

      @squeakycleandave1  Год назад +1

      I got the 7.4m which is the working height not the actual height of the scaffold
