It’s really important that I know what faces to make to optimise eyesight, smell and breathing. You also only half swing with staff. Me personally, I’d be doing the grubstaerial and grubsta gap attack, along with the renai retreat.
I remember that in the past I killed honorable and strong players myself using that equipment, because I still defeated them using the black saber or backhand or any other equipment.
There are crazy controller players such as yaeba who is known as one of the best NA players and he uses controller. Then there are some really good mobile players like debs and draeth. It really depends on the dedication you put into improving.
