Initially how many demo you sent out for marketing? What types of demos? How much time it takes you to read and read and get into head? Have you posted your profile/resume on any site? If so, which are the ones? As per your assessment to get $120 job will take how many hours for you?
Late to the party on this film, but it was great to hear Lisa chatting with the guys at voices.com. I've learned that the competition is, honestly...HUGE....and the only way you're going to succeed is with a positive attitude to each and every (and there are many....!) audition. I found it very interesting to hear what Lisa said about trying different styles....I might just consider some coaching to break away from the 'usual me' one of these days! Thanks, guys!
Good job! The key to Voices.com is staying persistent auditions. Takes a lot of effort but it’s good practice. Funny story about the first time she did a phone in directed job. Lol I was kind of the same way on my first job with a client that directed live. It was a huge shot in the arm when the marketing company’s client got off the line and the director remarked how great it went.
Speaking of the audition counts and the money. I'm so poor I go for any of them lol, but the audition counts don't phase me. I pay more attention to if I can get into the script or not than numbers. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but if it gets to me or seems like a fun challenge i'm all over it lol.
Hi Marie, it is possible to book work on Voices.com with a "Guest" account if a client privately invites you to a job. To maximize and unlock unlimited audition opportunities and many other benefits, it is definitely beneficial to upgrade to a Premium account. You can learn more about upgrading to a Premium account here: www.voices.com/talent-memberships

I'm a beginner and this was very helpful! Thanks!
How are you doing now?

That's a great perspective to bring to the table. Authenticity goes a long way!
Ironically the sound recording for this video isn't great. I can barely hear the guy on the right speak!
So in order to work for Voices.com, I would have to be a premium member and pay the fee of $499.00 Before working any job??
