These are really great cars. I bought one almost identical 3 yrs ago and have had nothing but success No breakdowns. No issues. A few tires and oil changes. Pretty bullet proof
Mike, at 7:16 you shout out how quiet the Saab Engine was ! If you keep this Saab 9-3 for you own use, I believe you would love it more and more ! As a Saab owner myself, I really love my 2006 9-3 2.0T and enjoy driving it everyday. Unfortunately GM stopped production of Saab after 2012.... Too Bad ! If you are planning to sell it, how much you're asking for ? Let me know ....
Hey mike you should buy a new temp sensor . It is located top front left of cylinder head . Basically where the top hose connects to the motor .. sensor is screwed in downward you will see the plug . Just behind the metal fuel lines. . They do sell RED led bulbs at autozone . SELL IT FOR $2750 You should have no problems selling it . YOU ARE THE MAN MIKE
I would believe even with the type of title and what you have into it I can see you getting 2500 for it. 1800 is the least you should accept. The hail damage is the only thing that could be the killer on this deal. If you could get some of the hail damage taken care of you could possibly get more. But again it's a great run and drive and the turbo makes it a real fun yet very functional daily driver. Thanks for the update. As always be safe.
I don't always know. I don't always know when I think I know what I know. To keep an open mind, searching to learn more, taking great caution when sharing my trust. Just might make for a better day. One thng's for sure, though, I won't always know when I think I know what I know. Have a better day anyway. Sincerely, Jekelex
With all the hard work we've seen you exert, bout time you get one like this. Good luck whatever you do with it and thank you for taking us along for the FIRST ride! Sonny
When you added up the price towards the end you forgot the additional $20 for the key shell replacement but sweet deal wish i could afford it id buy it
All GM coolant is orange so it can better hide the rust from their cheap radiators they used to use. That used to be what my uncle told me amd he was a huge Chevy fanatic. I think that's not true, but he swore it was. Used car prices, especially Saab fanatics and they are out there, will buy this in a heartbeat
If you make another junkyard run, see if you can get the big plastic cover for the front of the engine that is missing from yours. It looks weird without it.
Well Mike what you just experienced is why SAAB cars have such a loyal following. Its the turbocharged acceleration / torque delivery. Its just like no other car in its class. Even Clarkson found this out to his surprise. My OCD is twitching though. Please get that engine bay degreased!
Hey mike I would ask 2750$ for it in this market ! Decent mileage and it’s nicely equipped. Also I noticed your microphone wire gets caught sometimes during videos , maybe feed wire behind your shirt and through the neck hole and clip it how you normally do this stops it from getting tangled up !! Congrats on subscribers !!
Put it up on all those places shouldn’t take long to sell or this market I would ask 2000 and take 1900. Just my opinion. Like always mike good luck and stay safe
Looks like it has the good coolant T upgrade by the ecu. Those bust all the time and a good thing to do is upgrade them to the metal ones like on this car.
Isn't that ball thingy in the reservoir a float for the the low coolant level ? Also - in the back of my mind I think that Saab motors are made by Mitsubishi, so are good... !!!
U forgot to count the thermostat in the expenses…by the way, why don’t you get in touch with Auto Autopsy and sell him the car? He is all about Saab’s..
Nice work. With that key fob it looks like 500bucks more. Too bad you don't want to address the paint, I guess maaco in Tulsa is also back logged for weeks. As is 2300 would be fair. Or rattle-can it and aim for 3000... Wait, flip it quick so I can get my W140 red pig content faster, Cato agrees 😁😁
What would the cost be to get the clear coat redone Mike? I was going to ask how the Ducks were getting on together, but it seems we will find out in the next episode. 🤔😁
It all depends on what position the piston is in Mike ought to invest in a cheap small Bora scope to look down possibly even the valve guide depending on how small it is or into the spark plug hole I just hope the piston was up
Monkey Mike owns all the cars I love. Those old Mercedes are charming. I owned in the past a 1972 240D, that was the best, in 2004 I had an E420, really fast, I am looking for a 300 SDL 1998. Any help?
Mike that plug you found is not for the temperature sensor …. It is for the LOW COLANT LIGHT 😂. I’m guessing you did not read the paragraph I wrote to you about your cooling system situation on your last video ????? You probably should read it just trying to help you out
Car prices are quite high at the moment I believe. Any college kid looking for a 'rough' car would probably bite your hand off for $2,500. Also be a good start for project Bentley!!
I just need to change the thermostat on mine after getting a P0116 error. Well I guess I will just swap the sensor first and see if that's it, but can you easily remove the tank and move it a little to gain access to the thermostat without draining it?
I have a feeling someone who sees this video will buy it. I had sent you an email titled "car" after your previous video with a deal I had in mind, did you get it? if not, I can send another...

20000 subs! Keep up the good work MWM! Hope that you and the ducks are doing great!
I think the float in the coolant expansion tank is a low level warning, a magnet in the float operating a reed switch
Might have forgot to plug the sensor's pigtail connection back in throwing that faux "low coolant" alert?
They go for around 4,000 without a rebuilt title, so about 3,000 would be a good price
Always a relaxed chill video time MWM! Thanks for the update!
They're called iceblock taillights! And I love it I miss my Saab so much 😂they're awesome little cars

Always a good time playing with the old cars Mike

Monkey Wrench Mike, one of my absolute favorite RUclipsrs!!! Love the content…👍❤️

that car is a f$cking beast for $800! Mike does it again! Well done sir
Not a awful sob story here, sounds like a good sob story! Thanks for the entertainment!
Good to see you mike take care good luck buddy
Saabs were good cars but what killed them in my opinion is the price of spare parts and availability. Still, they can be good sleeper cars.
Hey Mike, If your Saab Story was a song, would it be sung by Blue Swede? Good work, now time to sell.
Hi mike just wanted to say thank you for the sticker I received it last week
Very welcome! Thank You!!
If you make another junkyard run, see if you can get the big plastic cover for the front of the engine that is missing from yours. It looks weird without it.
Love your videos and can’t wait to watch the next one lol 🚣🏼♀️👍❤️🚘
You got some interesting things going on there at your front bumper
Mike give it a good detail, bit of dirt near the driver grab handle etc. good beater car
As much as you say that it’s a Saab saga I think it’s not too bad
Yes more off the saab, great video😀👍
Love it AND sesame st included..hey mate house it getting a little bit small time to move the managery out of town.
You, you went to a wrecking yard without us?
So, the romance of Lucky Duck was a bust? Oh dear.
2995 Mike all day long for that year model and it runs good you can get that no problem at all
Nice Saab mike you should have no trouble selling it
Great video Mike!

grats on 20k!
Man that thing looks clean.
I would say $3k is a good price.

Haha!!
I think it needs new shocks ,,,it bounces around even when you are just sitting in it..
Love your videos!
What would the cost be to get the clear coat redone Mike?
I was going to ask how the Ducks were getting on together, but it seems we will find out in the next episode. 🤔😁
Remember the car has hail damage too.
Typically you can’t redo just a clear coat.
@@HETPEZBAh! Okay, thank you. 👍
Good Coverage On The Saab Mike, I’d Say Sell It For $5500.00 On The High Side..
Thanks for the entertainment!
Thinking the S55 AMG needs your time soon
What's the wild possibility that you can fish the dropped valve back with a small magnet ? Just a thought .
It all depends on what position the piston is in Mike ought to invest in a cheap small Bora scope to look down possibly even the valve guide depending on how small it is or into the spark plug hole I just hope the piston was up
Better late than never!
You’re a very busy man so I appreciate any second I can get you watching my videos!
Monkey Mike owns all the cars I love. Those old Mercedes are charming. I owned in the past a 1972 240D, that was the best, in 2004 I had an E420, really fast,
I am looking for a 300 SDL 1998.
Any help?
Even with a rebuilt title and how good it runs I say $3500
The sunroof might just need to be reset.
then keep if it's sporty! re-dew the clear coat at maco! SAABs are good cars....
Great video
I'd say $1500 on Facebook. Nice car and good content.
Considering the condition and the rebuilt title 2-2,5K$ is a fair price
$2500.00 or better nice job Mike. Stay Safe.
Kelly blue Book says 2500.00 to 3800.00 value. On the lowest value scale,
Fair, good ,or excellent I used the fair
2500 to 3 grand would be a good starting point for it.
You cursed your self saying it will be easy oh no
Mike that plug you found is not for the temperature sensor …. It is for the LOW COLANT LIGHT 😂. I’m guessing you did not read the paragraph I wrote to you about your cooling system situation on your last video ????? You probably should read it just trying to help you out
I’ll have to go back and find it. Thanks for the info!!
Mikess first Saab story
Mike S55 AMG is really Great Car 🚘 🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘
Car prices are quite high at the moment I believe. Any college kid looking for a 'rough' car would probably bite your hand off for $2,500.
Also be a good start for project Bentley!!
My SAAB mechanic told me? Hand over my check book, and wallet
Have you been bitten by the Saab bug yet? I suspect more in your future!
@Perry Elyod ^ misinformed
I also have a saab and documenting everything it got mechanical problems right now too 🤣
2007 saab 9-3 Turbo
Great stuff
I gave $3000 for mine with 140k. It’s a wagon tho. Get it on highway and watch 95 mph at 3000 rpm. Like on rails. Better than a benz
Nice! Wait a minute…. Lol
I just need to change the thermostat on mine after getting a P0116 error. Well I guess I will just swap the sensor first and see if that's it, but can you easily remove the tank and move it a little to gain access to the thermostat without draining it?
Yes, it slips forward out of those 2 brackets
I LIKE THAT CAR YOU SHOULD KEEP IT FOR A GROCERY GETTER OR A SPARE RUNNER..
I would list it at 2250-2500$ it should sell pretty quickly
2900 or best offer don't take less than 25 00 should get that easily at today's prices
Ask $2000,take $1600
The Saab put it up for $3,900 but keep your feet on the ground for no less than 3k. Closer to that $3,900 the better.
I guess one of the ducks has gone to a better world🤧
Keep your emotions in check, it's not a mercedes
$2500 no less, ask for more and negotiate. Good running cars are at a HUGE premium right now due to the chip shortage.
Mike keep the Saab as its more reliable than a Bentley
I’ll start the bid, $1,000
I would fix the mirror on it and list it for 3500. You should be able to get 3000 without a problem
Mike in the UK they are selling for around £3k personally USA price move it on fast $2.200 thats a start to your dream wheels.
Cute kid, weird dad, good videos. 👍
I lovey saab. If anything ill get a engine swap
Put it up for $3000 and I'm always happy to double my money so gives you some wiggle room $3000-$2000 on marketplace
Congratulations 👏 on the Subs you deserve it, I'd ask$2900 and work yer way down not by much, where did you get your cool bracelets? Thank you Mike.
Here! www.skeletonhd.com
@@MonkeyWrenchMike Thank you Mike, they are Bad Ass.
Maybe sand the clearcoat down yourself then get a cheap Maaco spray?
Make it a giveaway car to one of your subscribers that would be cool
Flip it yourself. Auction fees will eat up your profit. Should bring at least $2k with rebuilt title. Good first time school car. Good luck.
2500.00 sounds good
its so easy to fix the key battery why is that message still showing on the dash
I’ve put in a new battery and tried both sides. Still getting that error
@@MonkeyWrenchMike wonder if the code needs to be reset or car driven before it resets?
Sell it to me I love it.
My son in St. Louis is looking for a car. What would be your price?
You realize I’m in Tulsa, right? Lol
One never knows how far a son would drive for the right car. 😀
It’s only 6 hours
Try to trade it up
I have a feeling someone who sees this video will buy it. I had sent you an email titled "car" after your previous video with a deal I had in mind, did you get it? if not, I can send another...
I don’t remember seeing it….
You can get $4,000-$5,000 for it but i think $3,600 is a fair price
2k only because the body damage and title. Just do 1900 firm and should sell quick
Saab's have very little resale value unless there mint ! But i do like them....lol
I would say 1,500 for your baby saab
