Republic Services - 1715 Collecting Recycling in an Alley!

Like the title says, the main highlight of this video is the alley, I drove by here a couple months prior to filming this and thought how cool it would be to catch a truck collecting here.
I learned that David, one of my route drivers, does this part of Cadence on Monday so I set out to catch him here. He did this alley pretty fast haha. Surprised I didn't get more clips. The rest of the video is just him doing the normal streets. This neighborhood is very new so the whole area is filled with Toters!
I also found out that another driver I know does three alleys in another part of Cadence, will definitely come back to catch some more alley collection! Those alleys looked much more tighter than this one!

Oh great another toter land.... From the Halfway mark to the end is a good representation of why you don't go very quick. Your dumping cans faster than the packer can keep up resulting in the packer being clogged up with material until it can catch up again. Considering the ZR packer is big in length, it does take a little while for the hopper to clear. David is one of my favorites for sure! Saw him in my last trip to Henderson. Cool guy, but had no time to film him and that's unfortunate. Anyways, at least the Fat Cubes (q carts) aren't dominating Henderson and Vegas as quick as the toters did.
There's many Toter lands here with all the new areas popping up here. Yeah the ZR is not the best on recycle. Oh really, cool you met him. We have new areas still being built and they will be populated with the Q series. Thanks for commenting!

I loved the Toters! I just got my other recycle bin replaced last week with a Toter. Why did Republic stop buying Toters?!!

@@PlaneSpotterRVer314Cheaper to buy SSI, gets to they yards quicker, and they fit the ZR well. Well it's not a can storage friendly cart, you can certainly fit more in the fat cubes. I'm pretty sure it also has to do with the fact that those toter snap on wheels are garbage.

It depends, fyi this is not my area. He does my area Wednesday. Usually 8-9ish is when pick up for trash comes.
I get trash pickup on Fridays at 10 too! Recycle gets picked up around 3
Great video! I think we can all call that alley The Toter Route. Most of the bins are Toters. Do you know if Republic still has some of the newer schafers like the one at 0:29?
Thank you! Haha then there's many "Toter routes" in Henderson than cause we have so many new areas with just these carts. Actually Q carts are the ones they are currently using. No more Toters.

@@TheNVTrashManThey bought another batch of them recently. Yesterday I talked to my recycle driver and he completely destroyed my Toter. He says that they are just way too weak and they bend way too much. Republic should try out another brand.
