Eger Castle: A Symbol of Hungarian History - Dobó István Vármúzeum

👉We visited the Dobó István Vármúzeum domain managing to cover the entire inner courtyard of the castle, we witnessed a representation of the baker from the village of Szomolya, named Veronka, who bakes bread for the soldiers. She says, I quote "If you accompany me on my walk, you can hear my stories, how we bake our delicious castle breads, what life was like in the castle. If you're lucky, I might even tell you about the sumptuous wedding banquet to our brave commander of the fortress István Dobó" and at a show presented by the castle guards (www.egrivar.hu... ).
I visited the museum 👉History of Eger Castle-Gothic Palace,
👉Exhibitons in the gallery building, at that moment of our visit there was the exhibition: 👉Györgyné Holló Valéria Szegedy-Maszák created a private ethnographic collection in the period between the two world wars, for which she collected folk art objects from the entire Carpathian basin.
