That last setup is perfect for me. I want two toms and my 16 inch crash on the left, and my ride, 18 inch crash, and splash on the right! Thank you very helpful
This I will need to get, i may have a rack but I'm never able to place things where I feel comfortable playing, I managed to do it once but I couldn't get it back again and the fact that your stand can mount 3 things at once...I'm sold.
i really dig this. for the longest time and still do i have like 7 stands for like things and at the most id have like 1 attachment onto a stand to put a 2nd cymbal arm for a woodblock or crash and i always had problems with space and all the frustation when setting up. def gonna check these out. thanks man!
So glad I found this video! I ended up purchasing the stand & love it! If only I had ordered the long boom arm for my 20" cymbal at the same time! What is the model number (with tube) used in this video plz?
Do you guys carry the 9613-PM in a black plated finish? I have a mapex armory series in black.. The kit is a black wood grain with black lugs and hardware, I also use the black mapex stands with my kit. But I feel the 9613-PM would look great in black with my murdered out kit! XD
I have been trying to figure out how to get my rack toms offset like that. I bought a mapex saturn and I love it but it makes me want to pull my hair out trying to adjust the toms when they are mounted on a cymbal stand. I would probably buy this if I knew if it would work with my kit
Gibraltar is the best. Re: the 1" diameter down tube... are all Gibraltar stand BASES able to accommodate that width of tube? I'm doing a lot of reconfiguring of things lately and have this great multi-mount (the SC-PM), but it needs a base/legs. Might Gibraltar ever offer JUST a tripod-leg base in their catalog? Forgive me if you guys already have, but oh my god, it would be REALLY helpful.
If I'd buy these stand without the base and mount them onto one of your Stealth-rack systems, would it become very low? And how would the Stealth-rack handle 2 toms and a crash?
The only real drawback to mounting your toms on a stand is that you pretty much have to position them away from the bass drum (either higher or more offset) or else you'll get this weird "phase cancellation" effect where the sounds interfere with each other and it chokes both of them. I thought 12" toms from 2 different drum kits were defective before I figured this out.
3:34 I prefer this if I'm gonna arrange my drums are standard turn into this. The right cymbal with a floor Tom should be a China Cymbal instead of another crash cymbal. missing: Splash cymbal with a stand on a middle of the Mid Tom and bass drum. So the left one along with snare and Hihat with a big Low Tom drum with stand, 2 Pintech Electronic midi drum circle and other electric drum with module connected with 2 Pintech electronic midi drum circles. That's what I need to set up inspired by a drummer "Rob Bourdon" from Linkin Park has the same Tom drum set like this. but at 2:39 this set should be the year 2037 which without the stand mount to play "New divide" with a Low Tom drum with stand on a left along with Snare and Hihat.
This is my set up, I use the offset config which is what I find most comfortable, except mines 2 up 2 down. I am investing in a rack and just wondering, does it need to be a custom size?
Sian Pi how heavy is your cymbal stand? If it’s not a light weight stand, all you probably need to do is reposition your tripod so that one of the legs is under the tom. This will keep the stand from leaning the directing the tom is mounted
kick drum tom mount universal delete kit. would go great with these. too bad such a kit doesnt exist...i have a design idea or two. too bad i dont work for gibraltar. oh and, more rack videos please...:P
I just got two of these stands, and they do NOT come with the tom mounts. This is really a huge bummer as they are advertised as Tom mounts!!!! What the heck! I now need to go to the store to buy them separately. This should be made clear!!!!!!!
@@dudemanaric www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SC-BCLR-M--gibraltar-clam-style-l-rod-tom-holder-10.5mm-l-rod You need something like this to mount the tom onto this stand
You can just buy the mount separately as well if you already have stands. We have a few more videos uploading soon on other available tom mounting options. thx for watching!

I have a questions. My toms don't mount like the ones in the video. I have a pearl drum set and they mount with the rod going vertically not horizontally. Maybe I'm missing some simple fix hehe but if someone could enlighten me on how to mount my toms to a cymbal stand i would appreciate it.
Dezzx Same setup as shown in the video. You would remove your toms from the tom arm on your kick (you can even remove the tom mount altogether if you like). you would then attach your tom to a Gibraltar tom arm that is mounted on the stand.
This would be a great idea if gibraltar would actually invest some fucking money into their "Premium" priced products. Every fucking piece of gibraltar hardware I've ever owned has gone bad within a year of light/medium use and costs more than the actual on-brand hardware. Meanwhile my cheap ass PDP hardware has lasted 13 years and is still works great.
question, there's is someway that I can buy the base for the 9613pm? I bought the top part thinking that I would be able to use it on a old base but it didn't fit.
+GibraltarDIY can I fit a 1 inch tube boom arm on the 9613pm? if so, can you give some options on cymbal stands, that way I can use that base and the boom arm on top. thanks
how does he make watching someone talk about the things that hold up your drums fun to watch
Brent......you are simply a genius!!! Keep the videos coming.
That last setup is perfect for me. I want two toms and my 16 inch crash on the left, and my ride, 18 inch crash, and splash on the right! Thank you very helpful
This is def the way to go. I'm tired of having toms mounted on the b.drum. Great vid. Thx.
Yes, Pearl tom arms will work just fine with the 9613PM tom stand. The “C” clamp on the mount will work with tube diameters up to 1-1/4”
Once he said, “We don’t like dictators,” I liked the video.
dude this was so helpful thank you so much
you guys are taking your hardware to unreachable levels. no other can even compare with what you guys are doing
This I will need to get, i may have a rack but I'm never able to place things where I feel comfortable playing, I managed to do it once but I couldn't get it back again and the fact that your stand can mount 3 things at once...I'm sold.

My favorite piece of hardware!! I own two of them
More rack videos in the pipeline!! Thx for your comments!
Thanks for the video! Useful piece of hardware for sure
Insane, thanks Gibraltar!
I m vry happy for what gibraltar is doing.. i m in india.
Are their any dealers in india ???

Love this stand! Any idea what tom holder would work for a premier signia kit?
Thx for answering the cymbal question!!
I need a few of these stands, i have prob 10 stands on my kit now, shit everywhere
Gibraltar Hardware. Cant go wrong!

Hey, nice video! What Gretsch model kit is that? Really like it!
Listen to this man!
I just need something like the tripod for my ride, a crash ,and a china. Any recommendations???

chriscauldermusic unfortunately we don’t offer the base separately. The 6700, and 9700 stand base will fit a 1” diameter tube.
thx! That's a USA Custom satin black finish with black hardware.

Noah Tyson you can drill different tom brackets on to the drums
We have 2 more videos coming out with more tom mount options! It was too much to cram into one video.Thx for watching!
My problem is the floor tom is so far away from the tom toms couldn't it kill your timing a little bit?
113089Drummerboy same
Nah, if you've ever played a 4 piece kit, you'll find it no different.
Could you do a video on creating a john otto style angled setup like he had in the 90's? It looks really comfortable but i can't figure out the setup.
These stands are cool
is compatible with tama imperialstar toms??

GibraltarDIY will this work with pearl export series tom arms?
I could do with just one of the triple clamp stands! would make a huge space saving on the ride side of my kit
Great Video :D
So helpful!!!!
yooo I WANT THIS ALL OF IT ALL THR STANDS LOL. ASAP
Could I use the Pearl downtubes for those tom stands?
Looks top heavy
Is there any multi clamp i can use to mount my pearl type toms on cymbal stand?
What are the cymbals on the kit?
Do all of these work on Pearl drums? Please respond
Hello, yes this stand/mount will work with any drum brand. Since tom arms are not included, you can use the tom arms from your set up.
I like that.

Get a pearl adp-30 you defo won't regret it or get 2
Where can I get these stands ?!
slayerkicksass1 if your dealer doesn’t have them in stock, you can order them through one of our online dealers
That's my set up lol

I have 7
cymbal stands:-D
Ludwig ATLAS hardware can do this better, I mount 3 toms and 5 cymbals off two stands, beat that
This is sold out absolutely everywhere.. Go figure
I dont care much for the cymbal stand mounted toms
"what does he mean "lets say you have two racktoms
Some people only use one rack or three racks.
False! Although Gibraltar is doing awesome new things, and they improved their hardware. DW hardware is superior.
Tama is also awesome!
