Anyone else completely devastated they can't go this year? 23 June is my birthday and all 💔
Unfortunately a trans-Atlantic flight is a fairly significant obstacle to attending for many of us.
Richard is such a delightfully *human* human being.
I love the heart and soul that comes from this team. Richard's eloquence continues to grow, and many ways has shown that the connection he talks about is one of the things this world needs more of. While I doubt the event would come to the states, I sure wish it would some day.
Love drive tribe grew up watching top gear it feels like i know the guys like old friends and still getting to hangout till this day

Loved seeing the camaraderie between you boys! Proper petrolheads the lot of you. Especially enjoyed the bit about nearly being in Strictly Richard saying no was hilarious, can't imagine him in a ballroom gown!
The whole idea of a DriveTribe Live event is fantastic, sounds like a brilliant day for everyone involved. Hopefully they'll do another one soon, would love to go if they do! Here's to many more years of DriveTribe!

Alas! I don't live in the UK which means I can't come to this wondrous event. 😔
But I'm sure that Richard, Mike, Ben and Team DT will surely make it a blast! I wonder if Jezza and Captain Slow (or as the Italians call him: Mr Slowly) would be there too. I dream for the day I can finally attend an event like this, a DT event as this! |

After 17 years of working in motorsport. The XJ220 & JaguarSport was probably the best work time ever. We are all lifelong friends. Working for Tom was fantastic! Never a dull moment. Then DB7, Arrows, BAR etc ending up with the T50 with the Amazing Gordon Murray. My entire career was inspired by Top Gear & now Drivetribe. You all do a fantastic job. I am a little famous for being the crazy buyer that took my Dalmatian to Gordon Murray Design & he played in the river in Shalford whilst I worked 🙂

This video was very cathartic for me. I had one particularly massive setback, that I could have avoided is I hadn’t been so hasty. I’ve always regretted making the choices I made, but I guess it set me on the path I’m on. Now I have a great job and a family who loves me. I’m still paying off that setback, but the light is now at the end of the tunnel. Thanks Hammond. You have a way of putting things that gets your point across in such a profound way. Cheers

humble beginnings
Took a while to edit this one I guess, it was the middle of October last, lol. Bought a chuckle to see the Mrs and I on here. Just a shame I had to park the trike away from the rest of you, was pleased to see the cog lads admiring it though. I was among the early birds to re-book for the next one, so I'm guaranteed to be able to park the trike with the rest of you, lol. We do exist among the tribe! ha ha.
We held off sharing this one so we could use it nearer the next event in all honesty 🙂 Plus it was a nice reminder of how much we enjoyed spending the day with lots of you!
Ahh awesome, the earlier tickets are bought, the better the parking available. All early bird tickets should be in the main event parking section 🙂

Never say never, but it is a huge undertaking! I think the first step will be us coming over to meet up with some of our favourite channels 👍🏻

Yeah lots of the younger lighter people, and several others. Ben was an extremely good sport as always knowing this would be the case, but knowing how much it would mean to everyone who could go away from the day saying they beat him!
It goes without saying in any car, on any race track, it would be a very different story! 🙃

Hey Mike, another random RUclips commenter with a bad idea for a video. Let’s see who can make the better film you and James May vs Richard and Izzy. The topic of the film of course up to you but my vote would be for Japanese hot saloons vs the German hot saloons. Also any chance of a drivetribe meet up in the states?
We do have a challenge type idea we are working on at the moment, but it’s a little while out atm. It should be really good fun though!
In terms of the states, we do want to try and do something that way but it’s finding a way to make it work. We hopefully have Tavarish and The Throttle House guys coming over for our event which will be a good chance to talk over some ideas etc.
Nothing immediate, but it is very much on our minds and on the radar 👍🏻

There wasn’t very many people there, was there?!
We kept it relatively small, think approx 1500 people throughout the day. We had never done anything like this before and organised everything in house to see what we could come up with.
We already have more than this for June and still some tickets left. We are going bigger this time with the limitation being the parking at the venue we use. We really liked the slightly more intimate feel of the first event though allowing the presenters to interact with a big portion of the audience (still wasn’t nearly enough time) but overall the feedback we got was exceptional! 🙂
Nice to make Ben go first and look like he is the only one to have regrets.
I think there are just a couple of points which were quite defining for Ben and could have set him on a completely different trajectory. Let’s be honest though, the guys smashed it!
6:49 Oh come on hammond, wouldnt it be a mark II jag with a 3.4 or an E type series 2 with the proper floor so you can fit in it, or your 68 GT390, which I would have expected you to blag a ride in the bullitt car by now actually just to see what you want to steal from it, and put on your own, given it was rigged up by a race car driver for the movie, max bachowski, so its kind of a one of one, despite all the clones people have made
as its a proper piece of kit that, hence why Steve Mcqueen tried so hard to get it back but never got the chance as the family that had it loved it too much, and used it to drive to church lol
