I love everything about this song the vibe is everything that gets to me but confidence is what the dancing is missing looking down while dancing is killing us let's try look into the camera like we are dance battling with it next heh
You guys are on the right track. This beat sounds good and the choreography is spot on. However, it has the South African signature in it. Everything that exists has been copied from something. So, we Zambians can have our own 'amapiano' we can call it however we want. But you our talented artists have to find your OWN SIGNATURE sound such that anyone who copies it, people will say it sounds like 'Zampiano'. Kalindula was like that. Various artists were able to recreate it from scratch and it would still sound Zambian. That is because it was a particular 'signature sound'. What is this signature sound: These are the characteristics that make it unique. I am now able to tell Master KG is involved in a song from the beat. I am also able to tell Sdala B and Page B from Makhadzi's high energy songs. When an artist has not found their signature sound, each song on their album will have sound, no relation because they are recreating each song by probably copying more popular artist, very confusing. Reggae is reggae and anyone can tell. Yet people, can tell the song playing is that of Lucky Dube. If you listen to Bob Marley's songs, the signature sound is all in there.
@@josamawesome6110 I can tell a song by a Nigerian artist before I know the singer. I had songs like Who is your guy, Rush, pop up on my playlist on Amazon and knew they were Nigerian, and I confirmed when I opened the playlist. The beat is similar. I even heard two songs starting with the words 'vibes, vibes'. In Zambia we had Kalindula which no one could miss. It was immediately different from Kwaito of South Africa and Mbira from Zimbabwe. I know Master KG's songs if I just hear it, without seeing his name, it has his 'signature sound', same with Zimbabwean artist like Jar Praiser, I can tell his music, he has a zim signature, Going to Western artist, The National, I now know their signature. So It is not about nationality, it is about identify. In a single country, different artists can curve out different identities, Rymzo De gasto, Nigerian reggae artist, sounds nothing like any mainstream Nigerian, but I can tell it is him, he has his own signature Even latino music, I am able to tell the song is by son by four (their famous song is a puro dolor) I am a music fanatic 🙃
the reason Zambian music industry can't grow properly is because of copy kind of music how do you announce Zambia international with south African beats
Copying is alright, AS LONG as you modify it substantially. This beat sounds more like some South African songs. The Chinese have copied Western Technology but have used that as a base to create their own non-copyright - infringing technologies. These boys should work harder to create THEIR OWN signature sound. This I agree sounds too South African, the SA SIGNATURE CAN BE HEAD.

Why can't we focus of creating and selling what's authentically Zambian? That's the only way to go international!
It is not easy. It requires a lot of work and support. May be we do not support our artist enough so they rush to make money and survive.
Club Jo! ku unip!
