As an owner of Fiido X, I've been riding him for quite a while now and no problems have arisen, it's really satisfying, I've tried other brands of electric folding bikes before, but unfortunately they all have more or less minor problems. Thanks for the video, the titan is an astounding electric bike.
Looks great Gareth! One note of caution. The adapter to allow a UK plug is what we call a 'Death-Dapter'. I strongly recommend that you replace it with a UK standards compliant one. At the very least ensure that it makes a connection to earth. Great vid and I wish you many fun adventures on your new bike!
Great bike Gaz. very pleased for you. 👍 I have the Fiido D4S it’s a light little folding e-bike from the same company. Great company and really good value stuff. I’ve had the D4S over 3yrs and I’ve put over 1100 miles on it. Only thing wrong with it is tbh performance is a bit down now compared to new, as I think the battery could do with being replaced soon. I’m sure you’ll love your bike, especially in the summer. All the very best!
Very nice review Gareth. E-bikes are really useful, I've got one too, but speaking as a retired engineer and science teacher, you do need to be extra careful of big Lithium batteries. Please be wise where and when you charge it, and always use the correct charger. The number of faulty and/or damaged battery packs that catch fire is a genuine worry, and I don't want to hear that one of my favourite youtubers had a fire. So safe use matters. Never charge overnight, and by preference I charge mine away from the main house exits in an outside shed. In ten years of owning one I did have one battery which suddenly started getting very hot - and fortunately I spotted it and replaced it before any damage was done... so do take care - and have fun!
I’ve got an e bike a bit like yours fat tire they are an absolute godsend once you start riding that you won’t want to get off it. I’m 61 and it’s the best thing I ever done you will really enjoy it Gaz I hope you enjoy it. Have a great time on it. Good luck tip make sure you get a real good luck and another little tip you can get an alarm they only cost 20 quid on Amazon and They’re brilliant as loud as a car alarm, so if anybody touches your bike outside of shop say the noise will just frighten them away. You got to be so careful these days. These people are quick I know I’ve got experience👍
I've had an E- bike for almost 4 years now, and I love it! I really like yours with the step through frame. I must admit I'am finding it hard to cock my leg over the seat now at age 71!

That is a nice looking bike. There is so much potential in ebikes, commuting, having a bit of fun or just going places you otherwise wouldn't. For those who have never tried an ebike it does bring a smile to your face, kind of like somewhere between a normal pedal bike & a moped (but without the noise, fumes & expense, insurance etc). The only negative really is that the roads are busier than they have ever been with more dangerous drivers than there has ever been, however if you live near a park, canals or slightly off road trails its good fun (in dry weather!).

I love this video, being a bicycle mechanic , and I note that we can still act like cheeky school boys when we get on those E bikes. I still have a few ebikes that I can just use the "throttle", due to their age. They are great for myself as I cannot bend my left knee much these days, and it aint easy pedalling with one leg !

Just like to point out that as an e-bike rider, e-bikes that are capable of exceeding 15.5 mph max. And also exceed 250w max motor output are illegal to ride on the road in the UK. They are also illegal if the bike can be powered without pedaling ie using a throttle either twist grip or button type throttle. Its crazy tbh. Cyclists on the road are a at risk already and them going slower makes them more of a risk rather than a keeping them safe. A road bike can easily exceed 15mph with power from your 2 legs
Checked the specs Gaz and not sure if this bike is legal on UK roads as it has according to the website a 750w motor. Maximum allowed is 250w. You could try the ENGWE 250w E26 similar styled bike @ £1399 or the L20 250w @ £999
Hahaha, sorry but the box says "Fiido tit"!!! Made me have an early morning giggle 😂. Have fun with your new e-bike, I wish someone would send me one! I hired one on holiday in Scotland and zoomed all around the Cairngorms cycle tracks - screaming occasionally because I was going too fast and hadn't cycled for years 😅. Thoroughly enjoyed it and really want one of my own now.

You get tiny little folding ebikes and very powerful e-mountain bikes all claiming to be 250W yet one is as low as 140W and the other is approaching 900W like many Bosch mid-drive motor e-mountain bikes. In Brighton they are going really green. There are loads of EV bike stands where you can hire an electric bike. And yes a lot of food delivery guys use them. When I get a little bit fitter I may give one a go. A plus side is you can rent one to do your shopping and there’s plenty of stations where you can leave it without having to go back to where you rented it from. Very similar to hiring a bike in Amsterdam. Mostly though they are free to use and it makes getting around the city a lot easier. Although they’re not too happy with a bunch of squaddies holding their own Arc de Triumph in around town 🤪.
Ya can't say no to a free ebike. It seems to be a popular thing as well, 2 or 3 other channels I watch have taken one and enjoy them. Next time get one for the Misses. 😊
That's really good Gareth, I'll look forward to watching vids when you go out and about, maybe consider buying a Go-Pro camera? then you can film whilst being on it. 10/10.
Be very careful accepting goods Gareth, once you've got them you have to promote them or you could be charged as the company are not obliged to take them back! This bike should only be shown off road!👍
Hi there , BFG ,nice change of video mate. Reckon this could be a great addition ,to already fabulous food channel ( or a branch off,) there s mucho coin available for you there and hope all goes well. cheers Kev in Oz (australia)
I will get a e-bike when they are hybrid battery, meaning you charge the battery as you're cycling. 6 hours charging time is just too much, and when you have to replace the battery after a year or two they will cost a fortune.
He could put it in a metal container while charging. I saw a guy on youtube testing various specialised metal containers for charging ebike batteries and even an old metal ammo box. They all stood up well against a complete catastrophic failure of the battery while charging. That being said I do agree, I'd put it in a shed or something with a sturdy metal container as a redundancy.
After seeing various electric bikes over heating and bursting into flames , best check your home insurance policy for guidelines. Looked the make up on the internet and looks like a lot of bike for the price , I thought it might have been more costly. Enjoy.
Yep it's dependent on battery type... If it's not a named battery like Lg or Samsung then it will likely have poorly made battery management... Always ask company name of battery. I'm sure fiido is a good make or it's a just a popular make.
Oh no, I hope this channel doesn't turn into a freebie promotional rubbish. It's lost the essence of real life that relates to all the viewers. We can all afford a £2.50 pie from Aldi. We can't afford an ebike.
Best of luck to you Gareth, nothing wrong with you getting that bike. You did the work for them to want to use your channel. Get out on that bike & let us know how you get on. It looks a cracking bike, hope you have good times on it. Go careful though & watch those roads…Don’t forget the food though…. 😂👍…

Looks very sturdy and functional but I wouldn’t be charging a Chinese e bike in doors. And their very own sales literature says that due to its 28mph top speed, it is illegal to use on British roads or pavements!😮
I couldn't find that warning on the site but admittedly didn't look for very long however the ebike comes preset to 15.5mph and has to be unlocked for higher speeds and this is a common situation for many ebikes.
I liked it, when you kept it real. I watch your videos for the fun of food.....not some E-bike advert when everyone else nears 100,000 likes does the same...or you wouldn't have posted this up. It's an advert.

Hey up Garath my man!!! That bike is like what you keep on telling us all…….It’s SPOT ON!!!!
Can we get a update please?
Check out my other channel bald foodie guy lifestyle
Hi, thank you for your review. Please tell me how to unlock the speed limit?
That's really good Gareth, I'll look forward to watching vids when you go out and about, maybe consider buying a Go-Pro camera? then you can film whilst being on it. 10/10.
Cheers Paul good idea.
Nice one mate nice to see you enjoying the bike looks
Like it goes at some speed after all that bike riding you might eat more 😄
Well I bought a new phone, the old one only needs a new battery but the screen has cracks and could break at any time.
Gareth mate, i cant wait for these new adventures, Nice to see you escape the kitchen 😂.. Good Man.. 👍🏻👍🏻
Looks great i would like a bike like that looks very solid and tuff looking
Yes it's a strong bike.
Be very careful accepting goods Gareth, once you've got them you have to promote them or you could be charged as the company are not obliged to take them back! This bike should only be shown off road!👍
Where’s the stabilisers and rear view mirrors and tassels?
Hi there , BFG ,nice change of video mate. Reckon this could be a great addition ,to already fabulous food channel ( or a branch off,) there s mucho coin available for you there and hope all goes well. cheers Kev in Oz (australia)
Thanks 👍
What a Beast,I'm talking about the bike by the way lol,can shift thats for sure,Best of luck Gareth,Ally
What do they taste like.?
Looks a great bike and very sturdy, genuinely happy for you getting a little bit back from all your efforts and you deserve it.
Cheers Lee, yes I appreciate it mate.
Love it. You’ll be reviews lambo’s and Ferrari’s’ next.
Haha think they will send me one lol
@@BaldFoodieGuy I really hope so.
I will get a e-bike when they are hybrid battery, meaning you charge the battery as you're cycling. 6 hours charging time is just too much, and when you have to replace the battery after a year or two they will cost a fortune.
Good idea
No comment!How can i buy it,thank u....
Seems like nice bit of kit, have fun and lets be careful out there!!
Cheers will do.
Don't charge it in the house Gaz. Fire risk.
Enjoy.
that only really applies to cheap chinese bikes...you could argue this is that...
Yep it's dependent on battery type... If it's not a named battery like Lg or Samsung then it will likely have poorly made battery management... Always ask company name of battery. I'm sure fiido is a good make or it's a just a popular make.
@@simonsaysrewind It is one of the few that are UL Certified
Have fun Gareth, there has to be some perks to the job. Thanks for another entertaining video 💜💜💜
Yes you're right ✅️
Great for the daily exercise and that bike goes quite fast. You can even ride it near your Lake distract on a summers day. :)
Off the Aldi Gareth? Oh such adventures to come…I’m looking forward to it😃
@3:08 Kinky, you can actually get pills to help you with that 😆😂
Look out Gaz.
Anything over 15.5mph & throttling without pedalling you could end up in legal bother.
Best check the regulations before you get into trouble using it on the road. Assist exceeds 15.5mph etc. Guess they forgot to point that out.
Yes that's with me pedling
Yes, I think that it is 15mph also.
@@BaldFoodieGuy the thumb throttle is also "not allowed"
Unless you have a motorcycle licence.
As long as sensible no probkem I live near a police station and oass me all the time never bothered @@BaldFoodieGuy
Oh no, I hope this channel doesn't turn into a freebie promotional rubbish. It's lost the essence of real life that relates to all the viewers. We can all afford a £2.50 pie from Aldi. We can't afford an ebike.
Well, we'll give him chance - it's only one ad so far.
@@jimfisher5916 why is that?
Best of luck to you Gareth, nothing wrong with you getting that bike. You did the work for them to want to use your channel. Get out on that bike & let us know how you get on. It looks a cracking bike, hope you have good times on it. Go careful though & watch those roads…Don’t forget the food though…. 😂👍…
Cheers Mark yes will do. At least it gets me out doing abit.
@@BaldFoodieGuy Yes best to shift the pounds as we put them on. I was just reading about Razor Ruddick. He’s lost 9/10 stone apparently with having a gastric sleeve fitted… Not for me, put it on by eating too much, get it off by sweating too much…. 🤣👍..
Hmm…selling out when the timing is right is still selling out! The Fiido Tit, said so on the box 😂
😂 top do that pal , I ride mine every Sunday and review cafes around our area. They are brilliant aren’t they find a mate who has one . We went round Windermere other Sunday and off from st Anne’s to fleetwood on the prom this weekend 🎉
Gareth's rocket.
Enjoy it, looking forward to seeing you ascend those Cumbrian hills.
Me too Sly
Nice one Gaz, I have a Fido L3 had miles of fun with it
Looks like the same bike Alexei Sayle has been using on his channel, happy cycling comrade
Very interested to see how the bike pans out. Thought about buying one myself but don't know anything about them. Enjoyed watching you wizz about while your Dad filmed you 😂 Like your first BMX at xmas
It’s a real beast what a brilliant bike thanks for a great review from N.Z.
No problem 👍
What wattage is the motor???
Tidy Gaz! Looks a lot of fun. You deserve it mate
Careful of the speed Gaz, they should be limited to 15.5 mph maximum, they can be locked to that speed for road use and unlocked for land use.
Yes will do. 15mph on the road.
well never leave it unatended when charging as they are catching fire just like the electric ev
nice to see something different Gareth,
Looks very sturdy and functional but I wouldn’t be charging a Chinese e bike in doors.
Fantastic Gareth! Thank you for sharing.👍👍
No problem 👍
I liked it, when you kept it real. I watch your videos for the fun of food.....not some E-bike advert when everyone else nears 100,000 likes does the same...or you wouldn't have posted this up. It's an advert.
