My wife and me has been a fan of you ever since you sang your first verse/word of a song on American Idol!
The first time my wife saw you, she said to me: "I think David is gay?! Quote unquote.
No negative insinuations here,just kind of felt it, ya know?!!
It's great that your negative cramped, fillings have been relieved, with that whole situation.... we are very happy for you, it's nice to feel sane!
Now listen Bro,
Your first two albums and your two Christmas albums along with"My little prayer and the duet "my prayer" is absolute! Especially your first two albums, every song has such tremendous, strong melodies, it's just impossible to get them out of your brain, lol!!
Don't get me wrong, all your other music is wonderful too but a little too "Pop"(py) sounding for me, but that is just my opinion.
My point here is it would be great,if you were able to make new music a little more relative to your first two albums.
Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, and Mark Tremonti are in my top 10 bands, and you are next on that list. No matter what music you do, you can never make a bad song in my book!
David, I know you have millions of fans but I am a million and one and I love the hell out of you, LOL!

We would really love to hear your story more in depth than we’ve heard it elsewhere, from an interviewer who used to be LDS and really understands what it is like to have a faith crisis and helps people through them. He does like 4-6 hour interviews so it would help us get to know you so well!

David is phenomenal! David age wise, of course, far too young and wouldn’t happen any way. David is without a doubt a person of faith and is to be respected. So many good things to say about him.
I believe David is stating, being gay isn’t about sexual actions and activities. That you can be a person of faith and be gay. I would concur. I would stand by David 100 percent in his actions and opinions. It is my feeling, he is a very fine, humble and sincere person.
He stepped away from religion and the song is referencing his faith in himself to love himself for being queer, not him being a faithful religious person

Honestly, it feels really scary to let go of religion at first, but when you realized that your religion doesn’t own the idea of goodness it becomes less scary to step away. Be good on your own terms, because you want to. Honestly, it’s really freeing.

By the way I hope this won't bother you but your song faith in me I changed some of your lyrics to more of a religionous song bit of romantic feelings. It's more about a woman who loves a man deeply and asking him to put his faith on god that everything be OK with both relationships with god and romantic feelings for who your heart loves. My song is not a gay song I do struggle with people who sings gay songs but your song is beautiful and I love singing it with the instrumenl and my lyrics with your song.
