- Lantau Peak is Located at Lantau Island and it was recorded as second highest peak in Hongkong.

How to get there:
If you are coming from Central or near the area best is to take MTR located at IFC mall,look for the Orange line to Tung Chung station.But if you are coming from Kowloon area or near Tsuen Wan you can take MTR Red line to Lai King station then transfer to Orange line going to Tung Chung.Then hop on Bus number 3M to Tai O at Tung Chung bus terminus located just outside the train station,once you get on the bus make sure you know which stop are you going down,it should be Pak Kung Au Street you will be along with hikers going to different hike destinations so it’s important for you to know where to get down.
Once bus alight at Pak Kung Au you just have to walk a few meters ahead and you can see the sign to Lantau peak trail on your right,cross the road and start the hike!
Once you reach the peak you have the option how to end your hike you can trace your step back to where you have started and wait for the bus going back to Tung Chung or may choose to continue and hike down to Ngong Ping 360.Me and my friends continued and end our hike at Ngong Ping,Wisdom Path.
Going back to Tung Chung there are signs along the road to bus terminus it is located at the back of food stands and souvenirs shop.Take bus 3M back to Tung Chung!
It was still winter season when we went so there was no much of a view because of poor visibility best time to go is after winter season and when summer is approaching so you can enjoy the panoramic view of Lantau Island with Hongkong Airport at the backdrop while still having a cool breeze.
If you go during summer season make sure you bring lots of water and light snacks with you like energy bars because unending stairs going up will drain you!❤️
