It is randomized. It's all set differently. This is just a correct statement.

@@milesedgeworth132 No two runs will have items in the same places, every save file has its own seed set when you start the game. In a way it's even MORE randomized than the randomizer since the overworld tiles shuffle around too.

Link Between Worlds had a limit of 9,999. Very reachable, but at that point, you might as well have unlimited Rupees.

Pretty impressive that other Companies like Indie Game Teams still can do some kind of crossover with Nintendo. And now just look at the result! They made a new Zelda Game!
Also a company that has done literaly one game before this. How they arranged this collaboration is a miracle.

Not just "other companies", but the fact that Nintendo is willing to do a crossover like this with such a small indie team is awesome.
And the results obviously speak for themselves. Hopefully the success of this game will make major companies more willing to do this kind of stuff in the future.
Fun Fact: Kate Letourneau (wife of Northernlion, the egg daddy) worked on this game's soundtrack! She played the oboe and worked on sound effects!

Disappointed Olimar A lot of Nintendo games have really amazing, iconic music, so I’m surprised that before now, the only other Nintendo rhythm game was that Mario DDR game (and those Pokémon Harmoknight levels, but GameFreak did both Pokémon and Harmoknight, so it makes sense).

Glad I'm not the only one who didnt see the stairs in the tutorial area.
Other companies would have changed the color of stairs so they stand out more... or designed the area differently to show wall vs stairs..
Honestly that's a design mistake. Your deffinently not the only one who had trouble. Your pretty screwed if you accidently click through Trills text and didnt read her saying Stairs
I'm legally blind... literally my vision is probably the worst of almost all people other than completely blind people and I noticed them...
I kinda saw it in the corner of my eye but didn't really register it as a point of interest, thought it was just a pillar in the background or something.
It's not obvious and should have stood out more, but when the game tells you to look for it, I don't see how you can miss it.
One BIG issue with this game. The super cool music stops when you beat the enemies D:

I'm really excited by what this game represents for indie developers, I hope Nintendo opens it's doors a little bit more and does some more experimenting with handing their IPs to indie game makers and saying "use our coat of paint to make something unique and interesting," it really does make me hopeful for what can come next like this. Just makes me a tiny bit sad the decision couldn't have been made earlier around the time of the AM2R controversy

Introducing Metroid de Gato: Rise of Roboto
They've embraced a lot more 3rd party devs as a whole nowadays. NMH3 and Bayonetta 3 are not only switch exclusives, but published by Nintendo and they let platinum handle Starfox (for better or for worse). I know Suda51 and Platinum still carry a fair bit of weight in the industry, but it shows they aren't so afraid to get out of their comfort zone anymore, especially comparing those games **tonally** to the rest of Nintendo's library. With that in mind, this game almost seems safe by comparison.

Just copied VinchVolt's explanation, since it was appropriate. Sometimes it's used ironically though, like when Vin does his "eminem rap god" skit, though you'll mostly see it being used as described above.

Oh man, I love how the first area's music is a mashup of Disco Descent and the Zelda main theme. I should probably buy this game, even if I sucked too much at Necrodancer to get past the third area.
This game is a lot more forgiving than Necrodancer, Vinny just makes it look hard because he's mega bad and doesn't pay attention.

The person who japed vinny telling him that you can't use the control stick was playing themselves because I'm not very good at these sort of games and I completed it and all collectibles with 3 deaths using only the joystick (buttons are too noisy also makes your thumb sore)
How on Earth did a small indie dev studio manage to get one of Nintendo's biggest IPs to be featured in their games?
Nintendo likes what they had un mind for Zelda. These devs must be feeling like they touched Heaven with their fingertips.

There are some articles, but the basics of it was that the Necrodancer team contacted Nintendo for permission to make a dlc with zelda characters, but Nintendo saw potential and decided to let them make a full game instead. Also it was the Japanese branch of Nintendo that wanted the full game, so the Necrodancer devs are really lucky they are so great I what they do.
@@doclouis4236 Miyamoto and Aonuma were also both apparently playing Necrodancer and really enjoying it recently. When they they were contacted by the Necrodancer team they basically pushed for them to have the opportunity to make a whole game and when you have the head of the Zelda branch of Nintendo and Miyamoto himself advocating for the potential quality of your project, which is not even that risky for Nintendo since it still operate on an indie budget, you can have a lot done.

For any who dont know, in both cadence of hyrule and crypt of the necrodancer, you can use bombs to blow up the shopkeepers walls and there will be money inside them. came to mind at 1:07:20

Oh, so the map changes each playthough? Cool! I finished my first run in about 7 and a half hours, so the randomization makes me excited to go through it again.
I thought it was fixed too! This is gonna be a good one to come back to a lot.
I recommend the perma death mode : ) every boss gets the upgraded version, higher prices in shops and other changes ; )

Feels like it will have the depth of four swords adventures but being something new to the 2d Zelda series, definitely a fun and acceptable game. I want to try playing it some time

Fucking WoW... I was super geeked when I saw the trailer and am even more impressed after the first 5 minutes of gameplay. The music is incredible 😁. I just started playing necrodancer the other day due to it being 80% off and was having a great time with it. Now I just hope they release a physical copy for this cause I rather spend the money there than on a digital copy... if it gets a good discount I’ll jump on the digital copy but for now I will be super jelly that I can’t play due to holding out 😅
