Brahmins were very skilled in making up stories, they had many years of practice in writing the Puranas.
In one story, Shudras are deprived of education and Vedas (knowledge).
In another story, women are deprived of education and skills.
In one story, the Varna-Ashram system is justified, while in another story, the importance of donating to Brahmins is explained.
*India remained stuck in stories and Puranas and went away from facts, truth, science and philosophy.*
