- We're excited to unveil CSX's 15th heritage unit, Locomotive 1875, in tribute to the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie (P&LE) Railroad. Founded in 1875, the P&LE was a specialized railroad that primarily served Pittsburgh's steel mills, moving the coal that powered the mighty facilities. Our #ONECSX team at the Waycross Locomotive Shop did a great job bringing this "Little Giant" heritage unit to life.
Nice job, CSX!
Outstanding heritage unit CSX & a big kudos to the Waycross Paint Shops!! You guys nailed this one like all the others you did! Cant wait to get it going by the old P&LE Main Hump Tower in Struthers, OH which still stands to this day along with the east & west end yard towers
The editing is so smooth and seamless.
Just saw this today, really nice loco.
Just caught this today
"All locomotives are beautiful, but some locomotives are more beautiful than others!" Keep painting these beauties 😉😂❤
