    Thanks for the review. Mine were just delivered the other day, I got the Beige version on a great sale. Going to try them out ASAP before West Michigan gets bombarded with snow

      Hope you enjoy it! I think they are a great buy on sale and as long as it isn’t raining they work pretty good!

    I agree with the review. I have the bright pink ones and I love that color, the shoe catches a lot of attention from other riders. The shoe is tough as hell, really strong shoe and will last forever almost looking as new. I have other brands gravel shoe and after a year it looks worn out. And yes it's very hermetic on the inside so is good for cold rides but not for rainy rides. The only thing many will object to is the laces, obviously many riders are used to BOA and will find laces very backward on riding shoes. It doesn't bother me at all. The shoes are slim so if you have a wide feet buy a bigger size for sure. The other thing is that they are not available world wide, for example here in Canada Adidas wont sell it dont know why.

      I noticed that as well, when I was in Dubai all of the Adidas stores carried them. Back home in the states I have never seen these in store. I ordered my pair on line. To be fair tho most adidas stores in the states don’t carry much if any of the stuff you see on the websites. Not sure why that is.

    Great review! I found That I get scrunched toes wearing them. I prefer my specialized recon and I can bike all day in those. Live in Colorado and I bike in different weather year round.

      I agree, when I ride longer distances my toes feel squeezed into the toe box. I’m going to ride these till they fall apart but will not buy another pair.

    Oh man I’ve been trying to figure out how to stop the laces flapping around for a week since getting mine. Great review

    Thanks for the great 1yr review! I've been thinking about getting these, but there are too few reviews. Question though.... you thought the Specialized Recon was more comfortable? That's the other show I'm thinking about.

    • @KRTLyfe
      @KRTLyfe  Год назад

      Yeah, I have what I would consider narrow feet and at times depending on my sock choice and the distance I’m riding these can feel a bit tight in the toe box. The Specialized Recon on the other hand felt super comfy when I tried them on in my LBS however, I have never ridden the specialized recon. They are the next shoe I plan to purchase tho.

    You could use grip tape on the slippery part.

      Yep, I thought about that but after hitting my leg really bad on the crank muscle memory stepped in for the save LOL.

    Thanks for providing such a thorough review! Adidas always fits me perfectly and I was thinking of picking these up, is there a different set of shoes you prefer without the waterlogged issues?

    • @KRTLyfe
      @KRTLyfe  Год назад +1

      Not at the moment, there is a shoe Specialized makes that I plan to try next.

      @@KRTLyfe I found a deep sale and ended up going with these as my first clipless shoes! Can I ask what pedals you've been using with them? Trying to clip in for the first time with some Shimano GRX PD-ME700 SPD Pedals, can't tell if I'm just terrible at it or if the platform is too wide for these shoes 😅

      @@ramblingcrow How did you like the shoes? Just grabbed a pair for 70 dollars us hope im not wasting my time

    • @ramblingcrow

      @@ConstantJive Working well so far! Managed to figure out the clipless setup and have gone about 200 miles with them so far. Very comfortable for a narrow foot, I haven't had issues yet with toes sliding too far down (laces are great for dialing in fit) and so far haven't ridden through wet conditions that might impact how comfortable they are.
      Would agree the arch area underneath would benefit from some traction if you ever ride sections without locking in. Some skateboard deck tape works for that and is a cheap fix.

    Is it possible to adjust the holes back and forth? Just got mine today but I feel like I want my cleats to go forward a bit but I can't figure out how to move them.

    The slippery issue is real, I hit my ankle pretty hard the first time I used them. As somebody recommended, it would be very useful to stick some bathroom slip resistant strips on the sole. Sadly, it’s a bad design. I certainly don’t recommend them.

      @@KRTLyfe thank you, but woukd it be flexable to paly in or can you run in it ?
      I am asking because it is the only shoes with reasonable prise and a size 14 that looks like you can play soccer in it...
      thank you very much tho

    • @KRTLyfe
      @KRTLyfe  Год назад +1

      I sincerely apologize, I thought you were joking. Yeah you definitely cannot play football in these. The sole is extremely stiff almost like carbon fiber.
