I love Stephen Fry! :) Every time I hear him speak about something..whatever it is, I sit completely silent and just listen and learn because he has always something smart and enlightening to say. This was great. I hope you live long Stephen!

It is amazing to see Craig in this episode. Normally he has to play a character a bit but in this one you see how fking smart he is. Also.. Stephen Fry. I wish that I'd never run out things he has made to listen. Amazing human being. Fking love him.

You NEVER see this sort of thing on American TV. Not the length of the conversation, not the casualness of it, and not the topics they discuss. Love it!

I loved how Craig wan't joking, everyone was so enthralled by Steven Fry that it wasn't necessary. It was amazing

    Thanks for this.
I came across these three segments almost by accident, but I loved every minute of them.
Whenever Ferguson had Fry on his show he turns into a normal person and forgets the clown he is supposed to be.

3:25 has anyone else noticed that his hands are shaking?
Believe me, this is so weird. I've been to Auschwitz with my school. I've heard the stories, I've met a 100-year old man who was there, and he told us his story. (His name is Marko Feingold) I know what happened. I've realized it.
Still, it took my breath away when Fry told the story about Lasker-Wallfisch: "you wouldn't thank your telephone..." Jesus.

dewastatorrr Actually, he is a comedian. That's literally his profession. If you want to see him doing comedy try searching A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Blackadder (series 2 and 4, and the last episode of series 3) and QI. All classic and hilarious British shows.

But the thing that worries me the most is the fact that now if I get other 2 strikes the accounts will be banned and all the espisodes I uploaded until now will be cancelled and lost.
I was thinking I should create a new channel because in this way at least all the episodes I have uploaded on this one will be safe.
Please let me know what you think of it or any better way of dealing with this problem
    Thanks
PS:Thursday and Friday episodes will be reruns, new episodes will start again on Monday

    Ok, some pretty bad news.
Since the copyright strike (caused by CBS removal of Friday episode) my account has been officially flagged and it has a lot of limitations.
One of these is the fact that I can no longer upload videos longer than 15 minutes, that's why I had to upload tonight's episode divided in parts.

Maybe try to keep this way of posting videos but on another channel, in this way you can avoid the deletion of the channel because of copyright strikes

Anyone else think that when Stephen spoke of the nazis dehumanising Jews he could have been talking about Republicans versus Democrats ?

    • @Mediaright
      @Mediaright 7 месяцев назад

No, he was talking about Jewish people. But the point of The Holocaust was that the same playbook can be used to dehumanize any group. That’s the danger.

I know right? Usually when a guest waxes lyrical about some anecdote, no matter how interesting it is, Craig is always eager to drop in a joke somewhere in there, but he didn't this time around. It should just be a Craig and Stephen show!
