That may be the most interesting interview ever on the late late show
I love Stephen Fry! :) Every time I hear him speak about something..whatever it is, I sit completely silent and just listen and learn because he has always something smart and enlightening to say. This was great. I hope you live long Stephen!
Agreed! I could listen to the man all day, regardless of subject matter :).
Moments like this make RUclips worth the effort.
I tell you what, when Stephen speaks you listen, he makes you feel like your IQ improves just listening to him speak, wonderful. National treasure
It is amazing to see Craig in this episode. Normally he has to play a character a bit but in this one you see how fking smart he is. Also.. Stephen Fry. I wish that I'd never run out things he has made to listen. Amazing human being. Fking love him.
You NEVER see this sort of thing on American TV. Not the length of the conversation, not the casualness of it, and not the topics they discuss. Love it!
Even though this was on american tv
I loved how Craig wan't joking, everyone was so enthralled by Steven Fry that it wasn't necessary. It was amazing
Thanks for this.
I came across these three segments almost by accident, but I loved every minute of them.
Whenever Ferguson had Fry on his show he turns into a normal person and forgets the clown he is supposed to be.
Thanks so much for this- I missed the ep when it aired. I wish you well
3:25 has anyone else noticed that his hands are shaking?
Believe me, this is so weird. I've been to Auschwitz with my school. I've heard the stories, I've met a 100-year old man who was there, and he told us his story. (His name is Marko Feingold) I know what happened. I've realized it.
Still, it took my breath away when Fry told the story about Lasker-Wallfisch: "you wouldn't thank your telephone..." Jesus.
stephen fry is fascinating and so is Craig. Amazing segment
Man! that was one of the best episodes!
That was fucking awesome.
Fry is joy to listen to. A very good chap.
very, very good show
I`m sorry to hear your having problems. Loving your uploads. Thank you :) Craig and Stephen together are GOLD. Love (scary) how he had to "warn" the audiance in the beginning.
I could listen to Stephen Fry talk for hours.
dewastatorrr Actually, he is a comedian. That's literally his profession. If you want to see him doing comedy try searching A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Blackadder (series 2 and 4, and the last episode of series 3) and QI. All classic and hilarious British shows.
One of the better interviews on the show.
Thanks for uploading this.
The video quality is amazing. I can almost touch Fry's pores. o_O
But I do thanks my machines, or my bicycle for getting me home safe after every trip...
But the thing that worries me the most is the fact that now if I get other 2 strikes the accounts will be banned and all the espisodes I uploaded until now will be cancelled and lost.
I was thinking I should create a new channel because in this way at least all the episodes I have uploaded on this one will be safe.
Please let me know what you think of it or any better way of dealing with this problem
Thanks
PS:Thursday and Friday episodes will be reruns, new episodes will start again on Monday
Ok, some pretty bad news.
Since the copyright strike (caused by CBS removal of Friday episode) my account has been officially flagged and it has a lot of limitations.
One of these is the fact that I can no longer upload videos longer than 15 minutes, that's why I had to upload tonight's episode divided in parts.
fascinating
It's 'Träumerei' which could be translated 'dreamery'. german (de) wiki address /wiki/Tr%C3%A4umerei
Maybe try to keep this way of posting videos but on another channel, in this way you can avoid the deletion of the channel because of copyright strikes
can anyone tell me what is the Schumann piece?
An unnecessary apology at the end.
I’m sure it was forced, sadly. Didn’t sound like he wanted to.
Damn how did they all of a sudden flag your channel :S. I say create a new channel man.
Create a new channel :) oooor try to change the name of the video in one that doesn't involve Craig (i don't know if that actually helps tho)
I don't agree with the "by your fruit shall ye be judged" bit, there are things that pollute whatever works they might come up with.
Traumerei
Anyone else think that when Stephen spoke of the nazis dehumanising Jews he could have been talking about Republicans versus Democrats ?
No, he was talking about Jewish people. But the point of The Holocaust was that the same playbook can be used to dehumanize any group. That’s the danger.
I love Stephen Fry but he is not a comedian.
I laughed when Craig actually apologized for this evening show!
I don't really care - l like them both a lot.
This whole thing, im sad to say, was depressing as hell.
I'm sure that you learnt plenty though
Stephen fry was repulsive towards christisns in debates. Hypocrites. He is repulsive towards god. By what authority dows stephen fry judge god?
I am classical musian,
hes not judging god hes denying his existence. so he doesnt need authority. and also i havent seen any sign of him being repuslive to anyone.
@@happyhapsly he is judging god by judging what actions happen in the world.
Stephen fry ‘how dare god give children cancer’. Emotions judge poorly.
@@gjeacocke i have never seen him say that so i dont know the context. I cant really give a proper counterargument to that claim.
I know right? Usually when a guest waxes lyrical about some anecdote, no matter how interesting it is, Craig is always eager to drop in a joke somewhere in there, but he didn't this time around. It should just be a Craig and Stephen show!
He sure is--I had no idea he was so awesome.
