The OLED is seriously a game changer! I couldn’t go back to the old switch. With how amazing the screen is, to having a functional kickstand… it’s nice 😅
A tip I use for putting on screen protectors, put them on in a steamy bathroom. This stops dust from floating around, plus the glue doesn't stick as strong, allowing for fine movements. Once out of the room it will dry as usual.
30 seconds in a steamy room with your console off is hardly going to cause any problems. Electronics come into contact with far more moisture throughout their lifespan, especially in humid climates.
I absolutely agree with Incoming Retrospect. I'm very picky about dust under a screen protector, and went through 7 screen protector before someone suggest this idea. It does work; without any moisture.

I love the oled, I don't use it in handheld much but I just like the asthetic with the white dock and joycons. The screen is so much better than the normal switch and it feels like it's built much better overall

One of the best things you can do when you get that thing is transfer everything from your old Switch to the new one. Except for your photos and videos which I was sad about. So what I did was upload all my photos and videos on my computer using a microSD card reader so that I can keep them forever.

imo nintendo switch lite isn't worth it, in my country the cost difference between lite and normal is of about 40€ (euros); but you can do many more things with the normal one and the quality of oled is even better
@@colorfulflop I bought a used lite so the price was 1/3th of an OLED model. I am now however wanting a normal switch to play on the bigger screen :( But it is what it is!
Oled looks great and all but I wish they had made more changes to it rather than just screen, audio, kickstand it great tho. I feel like Nintendo could done something really big with the oled but it’s still definitely worth the buy if do or not have one
I got it 2 weeks ago!! Also the White one, love it! Looks so clean and dope, including the dock and the screen is really a major improvement! Used to have Switch Lite + V2, now I stored the Lite and only use the Oled. Sold the V2!

Another neat start of the week with that whole, I guess, wholesome mood. Laughter, joy, all that jazz. And the topic is a good one, unboxing new electronics in general (always brings out the kid in me) and yeaaaah, a Switchin this case. Brought me back to just about a month after the OG's launch, a friend of a friend was in Japan and grabbed a couple for us, so I could get a new one for a bit less than MSRP in NA, rather than about 60$ more (I live in North Europe). And to be fair, I might have reacted the same to seeing and feeling that dock, it looks pretty good!
I was lucky enough to get the OLED switch day one. Did not think that would happen. I was out getting Metroid Dread and the amiibo. Sadly I didn't get the amiibo until December. But as I looked for the amiibo, I got to my sixth stop and said I'm done! That's when I saw there were OLED switches and everyone was buying the one with the white dock. And Fortunately, I did too 😁 Again, never thought that would happen and when I had the opportunity I said I wanna upgrade anyway and its right there. Glad you got one too! 😃

I got my first switch ever and it was thankfully the OLED model no longer than a month ago and I absolutely love it,, i highly recommended paying the extra 50 bucks if u can afford it. I love the white more simple look and it was just perfect for me, btw i really love the cozy vibez here so im definitely subbing :)
With a range of sizes for the microSD card, Jess, you can buy 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB. Right now, I have the 512GB size and it works perfectly. But if you want to go for the maximum amount, you’ll probably say 1TB or 2TB in that case. Zach from SwitchForce has the 1TB and it works excellent for him. He loves it!

I snagged an OLED a week after it launched to upgrade from a previously owned, pretty beat up, launch switch (it wasn’t in that bad of shape the only thing wrong with it was a battery bulge) don’t regret it for a second (no, I still won’t regret it if a “switch pro” by some miracle launches next year)

Currently i have only old consoles, like, gamecube, wii, PS1, PS2 and PS3. Here in Brazil the prices it's a little in the moon haha, but even so i am looking foward to had a switch too. Switch OLED is my first Switch! I bought the Wii U on release and I was so burned it took me five years to jump on the Switch wagon. 😂 The OLED screen looks great and should provide a little more battery life if you're playing a moody dark game.

I love and have the same Switch OLED. My only issue is, I noticed a dead pixel about a month after I got it. Contacted Nintendo and they had me send it in, they sent it back saying everything was fine, but the dead pixel is still there. I'd fight it, but they kept it for three months which is about half the time it's been out already! So I'm just dealing with it I guess. 🤷♂️

Then I wanted a switch lite a couple weeks ago and AGAIN no store had them so I had to get one on Amazon but they only had them in another country so it came in late too and scared me to death lol. I've been noticing more and more people picking up OLED's and I gotta say, I'm very close to buying one lol. My girlfriend has been trying to convince me to get one. I've owned my switch since day one of release it's starting to get louder and you can see some scuff marks on it. Might just have to bite the bullet and grab one.

Lovely video , you really don't need a screen protector,because Nintendo has confirmed it comes with a build in screen protector also some screen protector lower the resolution quality.

And leave them in sleep when u done? OR do you just play 1 switch and all the others are just turned off and stashed away?
