Thanks for getting this information out. I am a prison guard that is about to retire and i have a number of hives that give me my agritural exemption for my farm. I have also got my son in the hives for hero program who has taken some of classes after being a coreman in the navy. I have also talked with a number of inmates who have an interest in getting into beekeeping when they are released. Thanks

Well, I am pretty sure they are in North Carolina, because they have a bee school and I believe every state bee school is committed to the program. Yep, I just checked the website under "resources" and found both the bee school and the NC State BK website.

Amanda is the state coordinator. Leo is her local representative. If you check the video at 3:09 you will see her name and phone number and a QR code to get more info. You will probably need to watch the video on a computer rather than a phone to see it clearly and shoot the code.
