it just shows you how good these players actually are. Maguire isn't exactly renowned for his technical abilities, but he nailed this challenge and was unlucky not to complete it in two shots. i honestly think it could take me 30+ shots with my weak foot to complete it, and i think i am a decent player (at least compared to other people who play the game casually).
sometimes we should remember that every PL player is an amazing player, instead of turning them in to a meme and basking in their failures. it's a strange human condition that seems to be that we enjoy seeing other people fail. i guess it's so that we feel less bad about ourselves when we aren't doing anything special in our own lives.

All players at the top level are unbelievably amazing players. To even play one game in the Premier League, you'd have to be quality (with the exception of genuine frauds like Ali Dia). The problem with our perceptions is that you have quality players vs quality players, and somebody has to look good, whereas somebody else has to look terrible. Millions upon millions of people around the world wanted to be a footballer at some point, and it is a ridiculously lucrative profession, so to be amongst the few thousand to actually make it to one of the top leagues, you really have to be amazing. If there are 10 million people in the world today that wanted to be a footballer at some point (I'm assuming there's much more), then to be in the top 5000 players, you'd have to be amongst the top 0.00005% players to have made it. So I never laugh at any player, because even the worst player of Serie A would be better than 99.9995% of players around the world.

Feel really sad for Maguire. When De Gea never comes off his line, when the central midfield is basically non existent, it’s impossible for the best defenders to stand a chance at this level. Just look at Varane. One of the worlds best and in Man Utd he looks terrible. Whereas Maguire for England has done well. An £80mil transfer fee doesn’t help. But I applaud him for handling all this abuse and hopefully he’ll rise above it
