  • As you know, Pulsar thermal imagers have multiple color palettes. And they aren’t here just for the nice looks - their goal is to improve your observation experience and identification capabilities.
Of course, you can try and test to see which palette is the best for you in each situation, but here’s a little cheat-sheet that you will hopefully find helpful.
🔵 White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection.
🔵 Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification capabilities.
🔵 Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long-term observation at night.

Thanks to our ambassador and hunter from Italy, Riccardo Tamburini, for capturing the color palettes in this video so everyone can compare and contrast! The video is taken with the Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 - our first multispectral riflescope. Here, Riccardo was testing its capabilities by observing animals through the thermal channel.
