So this is what happens when bad meets evil
Spec ops the line
Alien vs Predator
Honorable mention:
M. Bison (Street Fighter franchise)
"I am bad and that's good. I will never be good and that's not bad. There is no one I'd rather be than me."- Villains from Wreck it Ralph.
In Last Us 2 the way I've perceived it that there is no good guy or bad guy , there is only reasons behind actions and the consequences of them actions on either side.
Mafia II is criminally underrated.
For me the best game in the series
Honorable mention:
Dr. Eggman (Sonic Adventure 2)
I played both good and bad guys
Most people are weak
For Joel-Ellie-Abby there are definitely ambiguous feelings.
If there’s anyone in TLOU that can definitely be considered a bad guy, it’s David and his gang (cannibals), Isaac (toxic hothead who acts without thinking and isolates his own soldiers with his antics), the Scar leaders who bended the prophet’s rules (according to Lev, who was almost forced into a marriage), Danny (the soldier who tried to shoot Owen and then framed him), and of course, the Rattlers (experimenting on and torturing people for amusement).
Is Kratos in the early God of War games a villian?
He does kill people he could just as easily save. Like that guy he drops down the hydra. He killed for pleasure, and used people to advance his revenge. When he was God Of War he killed so frequently the other gods had to step in.
But you could say it was his destiny. He was put in the position by his father. That’s why I don’t count killing the gods.
I’d put Shadow of War here. You may be fighting Sauron but you can also torture and murder your Uruk army, have them fight to the death for you and you can literally drive them insane if you fuck with them too much (which is loads of fun). Also storyline wise Talion eventually becomes a Nazgûl.
10/10 game
Undertale’s genocide run totally qualifies here
There should be more games where you can play as the villain
Love your video MojoPlays and keep up the great work you are awesome
Every fighting game ever since 1992,
we have the option to choose villains.
Where is Undertale genocide? Prime examle of this right there.
They totally forgot about Daniel Lamb from Manhunt 2
I think Overlord, like Destroy all humans needs a modern day remake to get old fans interested in the games again. I loved commanding my army of goblin creators and I would love a remake of it, just like Destroy all Humans!
Not even an honorable mention for "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic?"
Dark Side FTW
You forgot Cole MacGrath from Infamous and Infamous 2 as well as Deslin Rowe from Infamous Second Son. In the Infamous series you can play as the good or the bad. I loved the Infamous series by the way.
Become a villains
I was surprised Detective Shelby from Heavy Rain wasn't on this list
Braid. Despite I've never played braid, I heard it was one of the greatest games ever made. In the end of the game, it turns out the character you play as actually was the monster when trying to rescue a princess.
I would personally include Song of Saya which is a 2003 horror visual novel where you play as a sadistic antagonist. It is amazing, though a bit graphic for some players
How about Dungeon Keeper? It’s good to be bad.
It's always fun being the bad guy right?
If you’re mentioning Injustice, then you should also mention MK11. Specifically the aftermath’s final 2 episodes, in which you play as Sindel, Shao Kahn, and Shang Tsung. You then get to choose between Shang Tsung and Liu Kang.
My main issue with this aftermath is that it completely retconned Sindel’s character.
I disagree with the goose being the villain in Untitled Goose Game. They're just a goose doing what geese do. You get to play as a goose being a dick, that's not a bad thing. That's fun!
all GTA games glorifies doing bad, like running random people over and you get no bad consequences.
I’d put my boy Kratos from the OG Greek saga up there
Amazing ✊🏽 😀🤘🏼
Honorable Mention:
Crow (Nefarious)
Sorry for getting off-topic and sorry for double comment
God of war series also could be in this top
Love playing the bad guy need some games that u play as the bad guy 🎮
About of Games where you are the Bad Guy, I have and played the Best and my favourite are Mario&Luigi Bowser's Inside Story where you play as the King Bowser himself, GTA V where you play as Trevor and Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door where you can play as the King Bowser too. And about of Games where you are the Bad Guy what I don't have, but i'm interested are Soul Reaver, Shadow of the Colossus, GTA Vice City, San Andreas and 3 what's my reason why I want to buy GTA The Trilogy, Bully, RDR (Nintendo Switch), RDR2, Destroy All Humans 2, Suicide squad: Kill the Justice League, Star Wars Unleashed Super Mario RPG Remake and Fable. Let's be Bad Guys! 😈🔥
Kratos original trilogy?!
Marlene was the real villain of the TLoU games imo, she knowingly made what would have been a life-ending medical decision for an unconscious person who had originally agreed to the procedure believing she would live, and Marlene made the decision (i think) because she was scared ellie might not agree to it if they woke her up and told her it would actually kill her. It went so far beyond just "unethical," and ended up being the start of like the most gut-wrenching series of events i've ever seen in a video game
Also Owen for being the most unremarkable man ever. Absolute villainy for him to exist
Miklo Velka Blood In Blood Out (1993) Not a Video Game character a half Mexican half White teen who returns to East Los Angeles joins his cousin's gang the Vatos Locos gets sent to prison twice becomes a Prison gang Kingpin kills his mentor and you're caught up now
Technically, you can be the bad guy in any game. It just depends on whose perspective you're looking at it from
Big Boss?
He did like like this video, but I don’t like the remake of destroy humans because of the challenges
Am i the only member?
Hold on a minute superman did some bad things to but wonder woman use him
THAT Diana is no Wonder Woman
GTA 5 and GTA VICE CITY are the GTA games ever
I’ve played Mafia 2 twice and I didn’t get the punchline
MAHBLES
They are not bad guys there protagonists and not heroes
So they're anti heroes instead
Yep they are.
I don’t think Joel, Ellie or Abby are the bad guys, they did some bad things obviously but everything they did was a reaction to something horrific towards someone they loved, it’s not like Joel choose to wipe out a hospital just cause he could & in Ellie’s & Abby’s case they were trying to seek retribution for their father figures being killed.
I’m much less sympathetic towards Joel than towards Ellie or Abby, because his motive was undeniably selfish, and he himself knows it. That’s why he lied to Ellie in the first place. That’s also why I can’t bring myself to play part 1 again, knowing what I have to do playing as Joel in the end.
@@Ori_Kohav nothing selfish about not wanting a girl you love like a daughter to live, especially since it was an experiment, the voice recordings found confirm it was a long shot & if it was so honorable why did they rush Ellie in there without telling her what they were gonna do
@@TheMarine316 I never said the fireflies were innocent either. I’m just saying their motive is more justified than Joel’s. They were aiming to save people. Joel was just aiming to be less lonely. (also, it was much less of a longshot than their previous attempts, because she’s the only one they knew to be immune)
Joel was without question being selfish, because he was doing it for himself, not for Ellie. He knew how much it means to Ellie, and he knew why, but he just dragged her out of there without giving her a choice, and lied to her face about it. Plus, rather than asking for more time (which is what I would do if I were him), he just said “pick someone else”, even though there most likely isn’t anyone else.
He didn’t even care how she feels, as long as he’s a daddy again. That’s the whole reason Ellie was so pissed when she learned the truth, and I don’t blame her.
@@Ori_Kohav I wasn’t trying to put words in your mouth, sorry if that’s how it came off. I was just trying to say in my eyes the fireflies are the true villains of the story, yes they want to do good things but they go about it like terrorists, bombing checkpoints & by doing so killing many in the process, maybe you need to be a parent to understand but if the choice is your kid or the world… you choose your kid 100% of the time, yes Ellie wasn’t Joel’s daughter but he loved her like she was. To me the fireflies caused their own destruction, if they didn’t secretly rush Ellie into surgery & she was there when Joel woke up & she told him this is what she wants I think he would’ve gone along with it. That’s just how I feel on the matter. I respect your opinion cause it’s no less or more valid than mine. Sorry if my first comment came off otherwise.
@@TheMarine316 understandable. All good. I remember you from previous threads, and you’re not nearly as toxic as the Joel stans / Abby haters.
I just don’t think Joel loved Ellie enough to consider what she feels. Otherwise, he’d *give her the choice she deserves,* or at the very least, *not lie to her.* That’s the main thing putting him below the fireflies, on top of him torturing and killing without care throughout the years before he met Ellie, which is why Tommy left him in the first place.
I also believe it played a factor in Tommy’s divorce with Maria, but that part is just a theory.
In Last of Us 2, Ellie went after Abby's friends because they were a part of Joel's murder. Also, Fireflies weren't innocent, they were fully prepared to kill a 14 year-old girl without her consent to make the cure, even if Ellie would've been willing to sacrifice herself for the future of humanity.
Also, another game series is Infamous, Cole and Delsin can take the evil karma path in their games, and the Kessler, the big bad of the first game, is Cole from a couple of years in the future who went back in time several decades to change history to prepare Cole for the Beast.
Best games where you are the bad guy.... The Last of Us Part 1 definitely qualifies 🤣🤣 (not a typo)
*FRISK - UNDERTALE*
I will never understand the hype behind games like shadow of the Colossus and hellblade
Why is there 2013-2024 at the end of the last of us? Y'all thinking about wanting the series to end?
Superman is NOT evil!
He is in injustice because of the joker and it a different universe from the main one
Joel and ally are the good
You know only Democrats want to play the villain.
I want moire games where you can play as the slasher villain, or monster, or the cthulhu-esque horror that breaks sanity. We have too few games like that. Single player modes are also in short supply. There's some games like these, but they are forced multiplayer team vs team games, which does not interest me.
