The Thing Glowing With Blue Eyes Is Shimo She Caused The Ice Age!
The child Kong name is Suko. And the orange ape is called Skar King and he has control of the titan who Kong looked very scared of there when it shot out its ice breath. The rumor is that Kong had to get the gauntlet (real name called Beast glove) from humans as help due to hurting his arm when fighting with Skar King or either that titan who shot out the ice at him. Skar is believed to be a world ending threat from what the directors said (but they say it a lot with movies before already so I don't know about that one).
Another ice age would be the end for us and most of the life on earth and that’s the goal of Skar King and his pet

This looks like an incredibly fun popcorn flick, and I'm all for it. Not only will Kong have to square off against King Scar (the ape with the whip), but the duo will also need to deal with Shimo, who is only briefly seen here.
This will be a very different movie from Toho's recent Godzilla Minus One, which was absolutely amazing and very serious in tone. I highly recommend that you react to it whenever it gets its home video release.
Freeze the scene where Kong is touching his finger to the girl, look at his other hand, it’s bloody and tore up. That scene is after he escapes from Skar King and Shimo and before he gets his arm brace put on. The fight in Egypt between Kong and Zilla is a dominance fight, but it gets interrupted because Kong is like dude, I’m not your problem, something bigger is coming. There speed isn’t faster, a lot of people are saying this but Zilla has been moving since the first movie, Kong was fast in Zilla vs Kong, Zilla was fast in King of the monsters, he ran across a city to fight Ghidra. Zilla has evolved, that’s the color change, that’s the body adaptations he will get a thinner lower torso, he grows, they both get upgrades to face what’s coming. One of the new toys coming out has Zilla with sort of a razor mace on the end of his tail, Zilla absorbs the radioactive energy from the pink crystals under the ice where he goes to hibernate and he steps up his game. The scene where Jia is looking into this golden light and you can see a reflection on her eye, 🦋. We also see a new egg in the trailer, when they touch the glowing wall, that’s an egg and we know what hatches from eggs in the monsterverse 🦋. the scene where Kong is looking up into the sun, it might not be the sun, a shadow comes in, reinforcements might be flying in 🦋 So much going on in this trailer that you have to freeze to see, I can not wait. Bring on the Pacific Rim crossover and give me my Jet Jaguar mech.
Yea the egypt fight surely wont be anyones victory, it makes 0 sense for supposedly even stronger godzilla to lose to kong with gauntlet and it aint movie about them fighting too, 100% will get interrupted or maybe jia will "talk" them out of fighting or sth

The titan with glowing blue eyes that you don’t see is Shimo, the ice titan and the very first titan ever but is under Star kings control and caused the first ice age and is the one who froze monster x.

Hello new to your channel here. Great reaction and Godzilla Minus One is a must watch as it’s the best Godzilla film in my opinion. The human story is incredible and Godzilla is terrifying😱 Best film of 2023 for sure 👌🏾

Godzilla vs. Kong: Godzilla beats Kong but Kong is the hero.
Godzilla x Kong: Kong beats Godzilla but Godzilla is the hero.
Before I saw this second trailer, that’s basically how I envisioned it playing out. So for Godzilla fans who might feel pissed that Kong beats Godzilla in a fight, you will see at the end that Godzilla is saving the day. Returning the favor to Kong for saving his life.
Kong has no shot beating Shimo. We could have a scenario where Shimo could have Kong in near death until Godzilla comes in to save him. In GvK, Kong jumped on Mechagodzilla like he was riding a mechanical bull after Mechagodzilla was obliterating a worn out Godzilla.
I don’t think Kong owed anything to Godzilla to want to save him. But he did it anyway. He still had a dislocated shoulder he had to snap back and had no time for warmup. Godzilla did spare Kong’s life and it worked out well for both of them or they would both be dead if the other didn’t show up to stop Mechagodzilla.
Legendary is officially entering their Showa Era. The campy stuff from the 1960s and 1970s watching Godzilla performing flying drop kicks. I’m all for it. Not every Godzilla movie should be the same or have the same tone as Minus One. GxK is basically Lethal Weapon/Rush Hour for kaijus. Two kaijus who don’t get along must finally learn to work together to fight evil versions of themselves.
*To* *Serve* *A* *Story*
In reality, Kong has no shot beating Godzilla in a fight no different than Batman and Captain America at beating Superman and Iron Man. But we saw it happen to serve a story. If a fight became lopsided, then people wouldn’t watch it because it’s not compelling enough to watch. It’s too predictable.
Kong wasn’t originally intended to be a kaiju. And the original size of Kong is around 25 feet for both 1933 and 2005 and was not that much larger than a T-Rex he killed by snapping his mouth. The 1976 one stood at 55 feet. Take the OG size of Godzilla at 164 feet from 1954 and Minus One and he’ll only need to step on those Kongs to win.
I’m aware Kong isn’t the most powerful rival Godzilla has ever faced and beaten. Godzilla defeated much more powerful monsters in his franchise. WB basically needs to give Kong a battle axe and glove to stand a chance against kaijus with stuff coming out of their mouths. No different than Nolan not wanting to put Kryptonite in the Man of Steel script only for Snyder to bring that idea back in BvS for Batman to have any shot against Superman.
Superman could literally kill Batman and the entire Justice League within seconds using his red lasers if he was evil enough and wanted to like Homelander would against other superheroes. Iron Man could literally throw Captain America into a volcano. Same with War Machine. But writers needs to serve a story. Got to make it dramatic. You don’t pay $10 to watch a movie only to walk out 3 minutes later because the fight ended with Godzilla turning Kong into ash.
In the 1962 film, Kong did defeat Godzilla. Toho confirmed this. There were never two versions where the Japanese version had Godzilla winning. At the time, Godzilla was still a villain/heavy/heel. He was a villain again in his next film against Mothra and lost to her in that one. He only started to become the hero or antihero when he fought Ghidorah which was the 5th film he was in. Then it started to become campy from there until the Heisei Era.
It’s true that WB did nerf Godzilla and overpowered Kong enough to make their fights more interesting. Without that, Kong would be fried gorilla and his head will be served in the scene in Temple of Doom as dessert. But it’s required to serve a story. It’s required to keep people engaged instead of watching lopsided fights that become predictable and boring.
I think the reason this movie is feeling more like a Kong movie again is because Jia is probably the most memorable human character from a bunch of forgettable ones in MV. And she can communicate with Kong that she can’t with Godzilla. The humans are used as plot devices to narrate what will happen considering Godzilla and Kong don’t talk.

*My* *Godzilla* *&* *Kong* *History*
My first Godzilla movie I had ever seen was that 1962 movie. It appeared on TV when I was 7 and I enjoyed it. I remember I visited Hawaii in the summer of 1988 and I asked my friend who was a year older, who would win, Godzilla or Kong? He said Godzilla, of course! And I agreed with him at the time but I still had a soft spot for Kong that I wasn’t going to count him out.
I believe I did see King Kong 1976 and King Kong Lives 1986 during the 80s. I’m not sure if I saw them before KKvG 1962 but I did see them as a kid. So I always saw more Kong movies growing up. Then I would go to Universal Studios (Hollywood) and he was always there during our tram tours. That’s why while I think Godzilla is cooler and I love his more interesting designs and toys, I always had a soft spot for Curious George on steroids.
So the next Godzilla movie I saw after KKvG was the 1998 film. This was over a decade after I saw KKvG. It was critically panned, so I didn’t watch it until it was available for rental. If it was never named Godzilla and just called it Cloverfield, it’s not really that bad. But I still don’t consider the movie to be any good. It’s still near the bottom. Some younger folks have nostalgia for it like 90s babies do for the Star Wars Prequels. Zilla does move the fastest and does move like a raptor. Every other Godzilla moves too slow and stiff.
I did see King Kong 2005 in the theater with my girlfriend at the time. It was good. Felt it dragged a little too much at the end which isn’t surprising because it’s coming from Peter Jackson with his 25-minute ending for The Return of the King but it’s a great remake of the 1933 movie. It actually acts like three different movies in three different genres. It’s highly replayable. I really enjoyed the earlier scenes before they arrive at Skull Island.
The next Godzilla movie I saw after the 1998 movie was really 2014. Honestly, I initially hated it. My gf and I couldn’t see a thing. We walked out of the theater feeling disappointed. We saw Godzilla for how long again? A little over 10 minutes? It’s only when I rewatched it at home is when it started to grow on me. But I still think Jurassic World 2015 is what Godzilla 2014 should’ve been. Bryan Cranston did act his ass off in it.
Then I saw King of the Monsters in the theater in 2019. I initially liked it more than the 2014 film, but the truth is, I don’t remember much from it. I only remember it being very dark. I don’t even remember Mothra fighting Rodan in it until only yesterday. The human characters were so forgettable. That’s been MV’s biggest weakness. I like Vera Farmiga in Hawkeye but I completely forgot what she did in KOTM except being Millie’s mom.
I did see Kong: Skull Island sometime around 2018 or 2019 on TV but it put me to sleep and I never finished it. Where I felt it peaked personally for me is when I saw Godzilla vs. Kong on my phone since not everyone was headed to the movie theaters in March of 2021. I do wish I did see it in the theater because I think fans would’ve cheered when they saw Godzilla and Kong team up to fight Mechagodzilla.
I know GvK is more of a Kong movie and it seems more of the same with GxK as we see more Kong in the trailers than Godzilla. Should be renamed Kong vs. Godzilla and Kong x Godzilla, but like I said before, how compelling is Godzilla as an actual character and true protagonist? He’ll show up at the end of Monarch for a couple of minutes just to kick more ass. All these kaijus do is grunt and roar.
I eventually saw Minus One around early December after getting my Hiya KOTM G19 and Minus One piqued my interest some more with anything Godzilla related. Then I watched Godzilla (1954), Godzilla Raids Again (1955), and Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964) shortly after Minus One. A lot of the Showa ones are available on Tubi. I bought more merch of Godzilla and Kong the following month.
I’m excited for GxK because I haven’t seen a MV movie in the theater since 2019. And the trailer seems to have more daylight shots! Yay! I can see the action better. I plan to watch it on opening day and multiple times next to Godzilla and Kong fans. I think fans whining that Godzilla will lose a fight to Kong in this needs to chill tf out. It’s a movie. A silly premise at that. Kick back and enjoy. Buy their toys later. This movie is not going to be nominated for Oscars. Just have fun and lighten up with this WWE buddy cop kaiju movie.
Godzilla will save the day. He owes it to Kong.

Scar king is the back orange ape and the other titan within the lava is shimu a ice titan who caused the ice age. She is one of the first titans. She was the one believed to have frozen ghidorah in ice from king of the monsters. She is scar kings right hand man.

The hidden titan is called Shimo it's supposedly the first titan ever and the strongest threat in the movie.
The orangutan is called Scar King and he has a crystal on the end of his whip which might be the reason he can control Shimo as pound for pound it doesn't seem like Scar King really has any advantages as Shimo is the titan that created the Ice Age!
I have a feeling Shimo is neutral and once they break the mind control I think he or she might be an ally later on in the Monsterverse

If you find a video of Call of Duty Warzone Godzilla vs. Kong live event, there's a cave painting that depicts Godzilla battling a large ice monster. It's called Shimo. In other words, there's a huge chance that Godzilla will fight Shimo in the final battle. I predict that in this movie, once Kong defeats Skar King, he'll be forever known as King Kong.

Shimo is the strongest titan in the monsterverse at the moment and is the very first titan to walk the earth in the monsterverse. It’s so powerful that it can cause an ice age. And it’s bigger than Godzilla. ❤

Y'all not listening to what they're saying in the trailer,which is understandable given the visuals. Kong isn't being controlled they said Godzilla is the protector of nature and Kong is the guardian of humanity.
The first watch is always the most visceral and we’ve learned to rewatch to make sure we get all we missed the first go. This ultimately helps us prepare for the actual screening of the film. Thanks for consistently contributing your thoughts on here. Peace to you.
