I came here because I needed to spell it correctly. I was not a ballerina but I was a dancer and a cheerleader and then drill team. We use part of array differently than you do but we were taught of course we're not on toe or irrelevant, ""stamp that Aunt stamp that Aunt ,stamp that Aunt,-- back side,land( not ballet, but same idea😊) .. and that's how we would move forward for routines or a cheer,& fall in to kick lines etc... your moves are gar mote beautiful ♡ . I wound up here Because we remembered 1988 high school Half time Routine and it was to opportunities by the Pet Shop Boys And you can actually probably here in the song where we did some pot of a race LOL Have a good life thank you for letting me share and thank you for sharing appreciate you❤❤❤.. my girls fid dance since they were 2.... now 18& 20..bskball captain/ cheer& compt cheer.. 😅
I did ballet for about 12 years… been out of it for ten years now and was just looking up pas de bourree… this is such an amazing tutorial and brought back all my skills!!! Thank you!!!

The step that she refers to as the count "and", is simply the prep of the 3 step move; the count "and" after the behind,side,front movement is the prep for the next step, whether that be another pas de bourrée or whatever other step that comes next in a particular combination.
I have been watching a lot of videos to refresh my memory about ballet steps and their names. This is the clearest demonstration I have seen, believe me. Most of the others talk, talk, talk about so many extraneous details that you go away feeling more confused than before.
