Thank you for all the work you've put into the reviews! My wife and I received our DEEBOT T8 AIVI today, to replace our busted 6-year-old Roomba, and WOW what an amazing device! We have 4 cats, and it only takes a few hours for chunks of hair (from fighting) and litter to appear on the hardwood. This new robot is a total life saver, and the fact that it mops (really well!) is amazing. All the other features, like camera, keep out zones, etc. are just a cherry on top. If I didn't watch your review we would have probably went with the Roomba I7, which I guess is pretty good as well, but I have to say LIDAR mapping is absolutely the most amazing thing ever and we're really impressed with the AI camera. It even identified "shoes" under the dining table because we were eating dinner while it was cleaning. Impressive!
After owning a Robot Vaccuum for a few years, I feel like not only audible vaccuum sounds should be considered, but the sound of it running over things from the floor below. The Roomba is a lot more aggressive at running over obstacles on bare floors, a slower vac would be beneficial.
Great video. I found your channel a couple days ago because I'm in the market for my first robot vacuum. Binge watched a whole bunch of your videos and decided to go with a roborock s5 max. Got an incredible deal at 315$ new. Couldn't have done it without your channel. So thanks a lot! My roborock will arrive in a couple days and I'm already very excited.

I have the ecovacs ozmo t8 and its is awesome, the mop feature was surprisingly pretty decent. I have the auto empty bin aswell. The app is truly well thought out and I love the custom area, just draw a box in the area you need to clean and go. It mapped my entire down stairs and cleaned it in 62 minutes. It starts out doing the perimeter first and then fills in room by room with rows of back and forth. Incredible!
I liked the former style of review much, much better. I liked seeing all the stats to see if a different model might meet my needs if it were ever discounted. One category that seems to get overlooked by reviewers is the robots that have an algorithm that allows them to vacuum in an up and down pattern effectively getting most if not all rooms in an average home. I "think" Eufy might have one, and Roborock does, because I own it. I bought my Roborock E4 for $250 and can't imagine upgrading to one with a laser or camera. It has a huge battery, dustbin, and does a great job of navigating. It's not perfect, but it's darn close. Has charge and resume and maps what it has cleaned. You can't create no-go zones or tell it to go clean a certain room, but if a person can live without those features, it's a bargain. I just shut doors or block off certain areas with objects...no big deal. The Roborock S4 has review after review after review saying that it is not for carpets as it can't navigate them for some reason. Surprised the S4 was recommended in the mid-level category.
Your point about the S4 is valid! I bought an S4 and I could get 20 lousy seconds of vacuuming carpets at most. It would spin, travel in random patterns, and then stop; it spent more time shouting out “Error 8” codes than it did vacuuming. I finally sent it back with a 0-star (i.e., useless) rating. Perhaps if Vacuum Wars employed a carpet that wasn’t putting-green short, it’d be able to give more accurate real-world test results. I purchased the S4 largely on Vacuum Wars testing and that was a huge mistake.
This happened to my sister! Brand new house and they bought a Eufy vacuum. They came home one night to dog diarrhea washed all over their floors! They had to deep clean almost 1500 sqft of flooring before they could go to bed that night!

You probably already know this but I've just found that dipping the side brush of our D7 in hot water (after removing it from the robot!) completely restored the mangled bristles to new.
@@ZiPouet This is our first 'bot replacing a standard cleaner. We've had ours about 2 years from the recommendation on on Vacuum Wars, no issues apart from occasionally losing the wi-fi connection but that affects other devices as well. Very happy with the cleaning.
Got a S5 Max for 6 months now...it's phenomenal...the only downside i see is that the mop attachment is just a plus you shouldn't base your purchase on...it is indeed very usefull to keep the house clean but it'll never be a substitute to a thorough manual mopping.
The vacuum itself is also amazing🌼 I moved into a home with hardwood floors and with two dogs I would see a layer of hair daily. I got this and it changed my life. I run it every night and the amount of dirt and hair it picks up daily is impressive. I have a golden retriever who sheds and this keeps hair to a minimum. I still need to take the big vacuum over the rug about once a week but eufy does the rest. The hardwood floors are always dirt free. I would definitely purchase this product again and tell my friends to purchase it too!
Just got my Deebot T8 with station yesterday! The station didn’t work for me the first time cause it got clogged with hair, but I have a ton of dogs. Going to try running it every day now the initial cleaning is done. Did a great job cleaning!
Me at the beginning of this video: I'm only interested in Mid level to Premium vacuums Vacuum Wars: Mid level is between $300-$500 and Premium level is $600 to $1000 Me: Budget it is
One of the eufy smart models is on black Friday sale at Walmart for $99 right now. I'm debating on getting it but my kids toys get in the way all the time
Me too. I came on here to find a Mid level one but Mid level prices are not for me. I however did buy a eufy a few days ago and hate it!!! That's why I'm on here looking for a better recommendation. I think I'll try the rumba in the value price range. It's probably better then the eufy fingers crossed.
I used to have three eufy s11 it worked ok till it stopped working. It did get stuck all the time though. Like under the fridge door, under my entertainment unit or under the sofa. I just bought the roomba 675(based on reviews) it works so much better.. it only gets stuck if I forget to pick up things like phone cords. I also have 2 cats so lots of hair and litter and this thing has gotten my floors so clean. If your looking for a budget friendly one I definitely recommend the roomba.
@Tyler lol I'm not making any jokes and I'm also not referring to natural disasters I'm referring to divine judgement, prophecy determines we're living in the last days of this system of things, by the way things look, the end of this system of things is right around the corner. Pestilence aka disease is one of those signs of the last days (Covid hint hint) but you probably will not believe me or take it with much seriousness as even the Bible says that just as in the days of Noah nobody cared, they all laughed at Noah until the deluge came and swept them all away, that is how the end will come, and not the end of Earth itself but the end of humans who are not doing what they should be.
@@moskbarto9436 not as a species, that's not what the Bible says, I believe we are living in the last days of this system of things as I explained above. By that I mean very soon, all the wicked human beings will be annihilated by divine judgement and the righteous ones will be saved as Bible prophecies have continued to come true, I believe this is a prophecy that will soon come true as well.
@@VacuumWars @vacuum wars - I have a 1300 sq ft apartment and a heavy shedding dog (not to mention a heavy shedding wife), Half the apt is carpet and half hardwood. With a $500 budget what is the best performing robot vac for pet hair in carpets? Thanks!!
@@slave2soil just a comment from an owner of a robo-vacuum (6 years) and heavily shedding wife :) What most of reviews doesn't represent is the tedious process of cleaning the brushes from the hair. In fact once in two weeks I'm taking the scissors, special vacuum-cleaning brush and pay my duty for another 10-15 minutes (usually while watching some youtube or likewise). Don't take me wrong - buying robot vacuum was still an amazing idea of increasing the quality of life, but just keep that in mind - I doubt any model is protected from that hustle. On good side - it does pick up that hair :) However, I bet with a dog you'd have to do that at least on a weekly basis.
The roomba s9 is so good at deep cleaning carpet. However my roomba 690 was my daily driver for several years and I gotta say that is a quality robot vacuum.
If I had all those Robot Vacuums and running at one time, i think i would have some pretty clean floors. Thing is though, these Vacuums cost 2 arms and 1 leg to get.
What a beautiful video! A lot of important info. Very useful. Unfortunately these premium vacuum robot aren't sold in Brazil. We need to import most of mid and premium category. Their prices is so expensive due the currency value. A mid-level cost at least R$ 1500. Any way! Thanks!
Going to buy one of 3... the choice being the s5 max, s6 max and deebot t8. For a tiled floor with thin grouting, a dog that’s sheds a lot and Lots of messes by the children, which one would you say is best? Does the t8 justify being the most expensive? Is it worth it? Really appreciate your feedback, every vacuum or mop I bought is off the back of your recommendations and never disappointed. Thanks
I bought ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner last month from amazon & it stopped working now. Though warranty is mentioned for a year but Customer care of Ilife is pathetic & not responding, anyone can suggest on how to get this faulty machine replaced.
So you also go duped by Ilife, you can try everything, ILife will not respond. I tried reaching seller to customer care to organization manager but nothing worked out.
I second on this, bought ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner last month & it started working intermittently, had a feel that it will be dead in next few weeks. As mentioned, customer care of ILife is useless & don’t respond. Even checked with amazon, they also sound helpless.
Motherboard of ILIFE Vacuum Cleaner bought two months ago got corrupted. There is no customer care in ILife, when complained about motherboard damaged, they talk about charging, absolute waste. 18k went into drain.
Looking at positive feedback on youtube, bought this ILIFE V5s Robot Vacuum Cleaner this year & it stopped working in less than 6 months with no response from seller on warranty & repair.
HUGE difference between the S4 and S5 Max is that the S4 cannot navigate "normal" American pile carpet. I ended up returning the S4, getting the S5 Max and finding out it has no issues. I did find the Ozmo T8 for $550, so I stuck with that because the AI was so much better, even though I fell in love with Roborock first.
I think older roborocks might not be able to switch to turbo mode when they are on medium/high pile carpet which is important for some people. I am not entirely sure if that is smth software might have since changed.
I wish Roborock had a better supply chain in Canada! Also, I hope you'll do a video specifically on robot vacuums for hard floors at some point. It feels very hit-or-miss, and like the scattering problem is only half of it. Are there companies working on soft roller robot vacuums? Is it better to just use a mopping unit primarily, and handle larger debris by hand? And for those of us with tile floors, I find that the noise of the clunk clunk clunk over each seam in the floor is maddening. I got an I7+ and returned it immediately :(
xmadrugadaxeternax well, the S9 has a variable clean settings with an option of a “quiet clean” mode which is substantially quieter than my old 690. I use “detail clean” so it runs about the same or quieter than the 690 but ramps up the suction if it senses that it’s on an area rug. It’s better in every respect than the i7 with the only exception being the price.
Here’s the thing so many people completely ignore or under appreciate about the Roomba S9+: the roller and brush re-design. The rollers are in the very front with an overlapping multi-speed corner brush (that can stop or slow spinning on the fly preventing tangles and debris fly). Not only that, the rollers being in the front with the caster wheel in the rear means virtually zero hair tangle problems. Who buys these expensive robot vacuums primarily? It’s got to be pet owners. No one else has to manually vacuum near daily otherwise. The S9+ is quite literally the only robot vacuum on the market that doesn’t require daily roller or brush or caster wheel de-tangling. It’s the most substantial feature of the entire damn vacuum. And you ignored it.
I am building a robot vacuum with a direct air motor with a sanitaire fan and agitator so it is 150 cfm, it will have a shark soft roller , both vslam and lidar sensors, a mechanism to climb stairs to make all uprights obsolete.
I saw a cheap vacuum with self emptying bin. It claims to have alot of feature for the price but iam skeptical, its called Proscenic M7 Pro. Will you be able to review that.
I'm really sad u didn't go over noise. That's hands down one thing these reviews always miss. I would love to run mine daily but the one I have is so loud even tho it does an amazing job.
Thats surprising indeed. Specially with the pretty frequent price drops on good models, which makes them a great value. I feel that they were waaaay ahead of the pack when they first came out but now they feel like they are falling behind. They don't have the auto empty stuff yet. They used to have one of the best navigation systems, but even Roombas appear to have surpassed them. Their D shape is still great, but now iRobot has copied the design. I have two Neatos (one "connected", the other old school, bought in 2016). And just got one Braava. The two guys do a good job and are real workhorses. One battery has failed due to aging, bought a new one, good to go. No real maintenance and the old one has been running daily. The Braava has more navigation features(you can ask it to mop a room, for instance, a new "threshold" feature just appeared to me as beta). I might consider other bots if the Neatos give up the ghost, if they haven't updated their line.
Got a budget $30 robot that bounces around randomly. It's dumb as a box of nails, and noisy as the falcon heavy recently launched by SpaceX, but it does fill its tiny dust compartment and has taken way more beatings than it deserves from two energetic young cats. Can't beat 30 bucks which you plop on the floor and let it go while you do other stuff, preferably far away from it!
Anybody besides me notice Neato robotic vacuums were absent from all this testing? If I am not mistaken, they were the first to make intelligent robot vacuums that could actually navigate and built a fire under iRobot to do the same. Most of the robots in the review I've never even heard of. What's the deal?
Doesn't really surprise me. I have a Neato D7 - that thing is fine, but some design errors really bother me. Such as the exhaust being pointed down towards the floor, meaning it can actually blow your dust around into no-go zones as it navigates. The app is sub par, and there hasn't been a significant software update for at least a year. Which gives me an impression they don't really want to keep improving their products. Also, many links on their website barely work, and their support is non existing. Hence, my next robot will certainly not be a Neato.
I bought a roomba 770 a couple weeks ago at goodwill for 5.99. I love it. Just bought a bob sweep pro from Goodwill today for 8.99. going to try it out later today.
I have two large dogs and due to that, every robot in the past would fill up quickly and need to be emptied before using. Therefore defeating the automatic scheduling. I would empty the robot before work and have it clean the house. It would fill up about half the way thru the run and leave tufts of hair around the floor. This was every robot that I have owned and I have had robot vacuums from the beginning. All of them would fill up with dog hair quickly. So the solution is having a robot empty itself. That is the holy grail of robot vacuuming: the robot empties itself. So now the robot vacuum cleaner can be totally automatic. iRobot had the i7 with autodump module on sale for $699 (on Amazon too) and I jumped on it so I now have a true automatic vacuuming robot. It does such a good job that I did not have to vacuum the house before a party I had last Friday. On the white bathroom tile floor there not a single black dog hair on it. It doesn't really like the thick bathroom carpets though. Being the giant nerd that I am, I love that I can ask Alexa to have the roomba clean a specific room and the Roomba beeps and heads off to that room.
The S9 plus is better for hair but only bc the caster wheel was moved to the rear and the rollers were extended so the corner brush overlaps. No more roller detangling. It’s so huge for me (2 dogs and 1 cat, with one being a golden retriever) c
Thanks for the comparison! Would you say Deebot T8+ (non-AIVI) is comparable to your top pick? It can be found for as little as $450 with self-emptying bin, and looks like Internet reviews say its obstacle avoidance works even better than AIVI
Ecovac not bad, I got a basic unit, it works just fine, I set it to vacuum 2 times a day, it can run for 2 hours 👍🏽💪🏽but sometime it only work 1 hours🤭, now I understands, thanks to this video, it pick up the left over job on it previously task 😁👍🏽
Thanks for the video. There's so many coming out from Xiaomi it's hard to keep up. An all important model to try get your hands on is the Dreame D9, 3000Pa and auto detects carpet and sets max performance. As someone looking to get their first Robot vac at around the $500 price point Xiaomi is the best choice but their vast empire has been confusing. Making a video to make their models clearer would be great, for example the Mijia 2 in 1 is the same as the Xiaomi Mop P yet the Mijia is half the price here. And the Mop P doesn't seem to be as good as the s5 Max for suction but has more advance tech.. and so on..
Awesome review style, I really enjoyed watching it. I have a lovely Beagle and I want to buy a smart robot; my main concern is its performance picking up dog hair. I would like a smart robot that can both mop and vacuum, but a lack of mop is not a deal breaker. Currently I’m torn between: - 360 S7 Pro Robot - Xiaomi Mijia 1C - Eufy by Anker Aspiradora Robot Robovac 11s MAX - Xiaomi styj02ym I live in an apartment with no carpets.
The Shark IQ has some mapping and navigation issues that never were really resolved to my satisfaction. I think they were planning on fixing most of it with the new Shark AI instead ,which I will be reviewing soon.
@@VacuumWars Thank you for your response. I have watched quite a few of your video's and I currently have the i7 (not the +) and the Shark IQ AE running in my house and I can not decide which one to keep. Can you offer me your opinion?

I run it every night and the amount of dirt and hair it picks up daily is impressive. I have a golden retriever who sheds and this keeps hair to a minimum. I still need to take the big vacuum over the rug about once a week but eufy does the rest. The hardwood floors are always dirt free. I would definitely purchase this product again and tell my friends to purchase it too!
Which one did you pick???
Just got my Deebot T8 with station yesterday! The station didn’t work for me the first time cause it got clogged with hair, but I have a ton of dogs. Going to try running it every day now the initial cleaning is done. Did a great job cleaning!
lol that goofy smile thinking about how many robot vacuums you can fit in one room was priceless. "I've made it in life" - You, probably.

best channel and vacuum reviews in the world!
Aw Thank you!
Finally a good video with the right amount of details. Good job sir!
Just bought my mom the roborock s4 for Christmas because this video was so helpful! Thank you!
Glad I could help!
At the beginning when they're all running around you it looks like the puppy bowl. So cute. Just me? Ok.
Wow very thorough work! Someone's opinion that you can take seriously.
When he says his job sucks, he means it as well lol
Thanks!
Me at the beginning of this video: I'm only interested in Mid level to Premium vacuums
Vacuum Wars: Mid level is between $300-$500 and Premium level is $600 to $1000
Me: Budget it is
One of the eufy smart models is on black Friday sale at Walmart for $99 right now. I'm debating on getting it but my kids toys get in the way all the time
@@krissi9183 that’s actually why I was watching this video lol. Can’t beat it for 99 bucks.
@@krissi9183 Yes! I saw that too. I'm also debating on getting it
Me too. I came on here to find a Mid level one but Mid level prices are not for me. I however did buy a eufy a few days ago and hate it!!! That's why I'm on here looking for a better recommendation. I think I'll try the rumba in the value price range. It's probably better then the eufy fingers crossed.
😆
I used to have three eufy s11 it worked ok till it stopped working. It did get stuck all the time though. Like under the fridge door, under my entertainment unit or under the sofa. I just bought the roomba 675(based on reviews) it works so much better.. it only gets stuck if I forget to pick up things like phone cords. I also have 2 cats so lots of hair and litter and this thing has gotten my floors so clean. If your looking for a budget friendly one I definitely recommend the roomba.
Thanks for sharing
Man, I can't wait to have one of this genuine things in a couple of years from now.
That's if we're still around in a couple years lol
me too!
@@adimart2214 you think we're living our last days as a species?
@@moskbarto9436 not as a species, that's not what the Bible says, I believe we are living in the last days of this system of things as I explained above. By that I mean very soon, all the wicked human beings will be annihilated by divine judgement and the righteous ones will be saved as Bible prophecies have continued to come true, I believe this is a prophecy that will soon come true as well.
So happy I found your channel. Very professional, well shot and to the point. Subscribed

It feels like this may have stopped being a vacuum reviewer channel and started to be a vacuum hoarder channel. May be intervention time.
heh.
He should sell the models he doesn't like or use anymore. Then problem solved 😉
@@slave2soil time to do "romance" and brush her hair for her a few minutes every day. 😄 if she's still shedding time for bloodwork.
The roomba s9 is so good at deep cleaning carpet. However my roomba 690 was my daily driver for several years and I gotta say that is a quality robot vacuum.
My concern is how long do they last. Would like to see a review of their track record after a year or two. How many are still going good.
The roomba 675 has worked amazing for me, just make sure your cable management is good.
Good to hear you are happy with it!
This is how a comparison should be done, impressive 👏🏾
Thanks so much.
Man you are really doing an effort to show people these reviews. Nice and well done.
Any way!
Thanks!
Been waiting all year for this!! I want one that mops too!!
Me too
this man is committed i like it
I think the 2 best Robot Vacuums on the market is the Ecovacs Deebot T8 Aivi and the Roborock s6 Maxv
Looking at positive feedback on youtube, bought this ILIFE V5s Robot Vacuum Cleaner this year & it stopped working in less than 6 months with no response from seller on warranty & repair.
subbed just because your videos are immediately on point, keep it up!
Thank you very much!
@@sunlightdavid I just texted the vacuums 2 weeks ago and software was updated
Hello! Great Video! I would like to know, how do you make the white marked in the video in the time 01:29 ? Did you use some software ? Thank you!
I'm 100% sure his floor's are dust free with that small army of robots vacuum
He doesn't even clean the vacuums they vacuum each other
except in the corners of the rooms
I'll wait till the mid range lines get the auto emptying features. But the future is automation.
I was expecting the shark iq self empty on the list
L
Got myself an S5Max in spring after checking your comparisons. I'm completely satisfied. :D
I got an I7+ and returned it immediately :(
WISH THEY HAVE AES/SEB
The Roomba S9 has a drastically slower corner brush with variable speed. Much less scatter.
@@michaelwallach4352 How's its pickup compare to the I7, and how do its wheels sound over 1/4" spaced tile?
xmadrugadaxeternax well, the S9 has a variable clean settings with an option of a “quiet clean” mode which is substantially quieter than my old 690. I use “detail clean” so it runs about the same or quieter than the 690 but ramps up the suction if it senses that it’s on an area rug. It’s better in every respect than the i7 with the only exception being the price.
GREAT reviews.... Roomba 980 vs I3?? or Shark deebot 500
Thank you! i3 (and the clean base if you can swing it)
Here’s the thing so many people completely ignore or under appreciate about the Roomba S9+: the roller and brush re-design.
I am building a robot vacuum with a direct air motor with a sanitaire fan and agitator so it is 150 cfm, it will have a shark soft roller , both vslam and lidar sensors, a mechanism to climb stairs to make all uprights obsolete.
are you going to share a video? That should be fun.
I saw a cheap vacuum with self emptying bin. It claims to have alot of feature for the price but iam skeptical, its called Proscenic M7 Pro. Will you be able to review that.
I’m in the market to buy one of these and I must say, this is the best review I have found!
Wow, thanks!
Is there a best robot for hardwood floor review?
Have you tried the Shark robot yet?!? Trying to see if it's worth the price or not worth it.
soon - in the next few weeks.
I'm really sad u didn't go over noise. That's hands down one thing these reviews always miss. I would love to run mine daily but the one I have is so loud even tho it does an amazing job.
Which one do you have ?
i have the roborock s4 from a previous video you made. i can't be any happier. that thing works great.
i love how it is still a good buy.
wow I didn't expect Neato to be left out of the competition.
Well done! 😃
@@Druskqq Interesting, IWas thinking about buying a D750, which is a D7, but you make me have a doubt... Roborock S5 instead?
Excellent Video review! tons of information in 7 minutes, you the man! Thanks for posting.
I appreciate that!

I bought a roomba 770 a couple weeks ago at goodwill for 5.99. I love it. Just bought a bob sweep pro from Goodwill today for 8.99. going to try it out later today.
As usuall, amazing review!
Thanks so much.
Currently I’m torn between:
- 360 S7 Pro Robot
- Xiaomi Mijia 1C
- Eufy by Anker Aspiradora Robot Robovac 11s MAX
- Xiaomi styj02ym
I live in an apartment with no carpets.
Straight to the point, thanks for sharing your explained recommendations.
What happened to the Shark IQ? You don't like it any more? What changed your mind?
The Shark IQ has some mapping and navigation issues that never were really resolved to my satisfaction. I think they were planning on fixing most of it with the new Shark AI instead ,which I will be reviewing soon.
@@VacuumWars Thank you for your response. I have watched quite a few of your video's and I currently have the i7 (not the +) and the Shark IQ AE running in my house and I can not decide which one to keep. Can you offer me your opinion?
Looking forward to the Review of the Roomba i3+.... might be interesting to see a mid-level with self-emptying function :)
