In my opinion, this is the best heat of gold rush because every promoter had a official on the burm and its cool seeing different official jerseys out there
This was better wheel man event than 2024. 2023 way better The level of building and level of performance. Not sure what this particular event within the goldrush weekend to go down. But whatever it was it showed.
I understand the flag guys trying to stop certain things and communicating with the drivers to back off and others. But Jesus their arms have to be killing them. It's like there actually trying to tell each driver where to go, what do, who to hit. Way I see it is 3 out of top 5 had the S painted on. In my opinion they didn't really pick it up much after they got the S. They should of never made it those spots. I think if you've made your rules about aggressive hits then screw the S. Just break their stick. It happens everywhere. These drivers are intelligent individuals. Just look at there cars. That isn't precision guess work there. There's no way that there just not seeing the official to tell them to hit lol.
Definitely a few baggers in there. Everyone wants to get down to the last few cars and then turn it up. I think it kinda sucks when they try to save there cars until the end they definitely need to give out a couple mad dogs and some money to the guys who put on a show. That's why some people don't pussy foot around and they give them there all. It makes for a better show.
I just have to ask. As a former derby driver from the mid 2000s, there werent all of these different classes. I am not familiar with the "wheelman" class. Could someone enlighten me as to what it is, please? I am definitely a fan of branding cars as sandbaggers. 😂
Wheelman is a fancy word for The Best of The Best in this sport. Ultimate Derby, the one promoting the show, has multiple other big shows throughout the year where if you finish in the top 3 spots, you're guaranteed a spot in this event/class. 20k to win for this class alone! You have to place in some of the best shows around the country from Utah to Pennsylvania to get in. Examples would be Midwest Massacre (IL), Whiskey City Revaluation (IL), Iron City Nationals (PA), Wasatch County Fair (UT), Black Hills Beatdown (SD) or Metal Mayhem (IL).
Jesus's christ bloody, hell calm the farm.. God damit would he/she help .. rules were made by very influential people.. . does anybody reckon there is some well known racers in these beasty cars..
@@jakeellingsworth8886you can win 20k and still drive like you have balls. If you’re gonna drive back and forth and make bumps go to the local amusement park bumper cars and let the real men derby.

Nice to see 3 on one even at these big shows. I guess everyone needs a fluffer
Funny u say that I have a madam fluffer right here ,she's my dog.. I love these cars ,so funny..
Gotta love the sound of a 4-5000 dollar built Roller motor.
Hope you show this year
@CodyGilmour-qs6rq we plan on making the trip out again. I'll have the videos out sometime in later December.

That's what I was thinking why not cut a valve stem or break stick or take away pay
And if they call it Wheelman class why they care if they sandbagging
If the only repercussion for sandbaging is a free terrible paint job then why drive any other way. Seemed like a team sandbagging together.

@@FrankKnapp-u6o I say pay the maddog more than 1st place and let em all eat. Put up or shut up lol
Did the sandbagger car even step up the contact. Seriously why put a S on a car if you aren’t going to break them off if they don’t step up the pace.
The officials should have thrown a red flag when that car in the corner that was over on its. That’s a major safety issue
I wish I was there :( I forgot to go

@Bennet114DDT so are these cars full weld then? Aldo, that flagman in front of you appears to have been a traffic cop in a past life. Lol
@jnstanford I would say it's a weld class. No kickers, but you're allowed braced rearends and full cradles.
Why was there a S or 5 painted on the door by a track official?
The "S" means you've been warned for sandbagging.
Stupid officials like these ruin derbies let them go you don’t need to stop it ever 1 and a half minutes
Bull crap. They have to. Knuckle head
If there is a fire. They have to. And a tire. Or a bumper . You go out there.
And be stopped for a 🔥 or a tire.
What's the s painted on doors mean
Sandbaggers
That's what I figured but do they like lose payout or anything?
@@VictoryLaneexotics no but they should I agree. Or be told once after getting painted then break sticks.
86 needs an "S"
The S means nothing the promotions don't do anything other then paint an S on the door

Damn the 86 wagon sandbagging moving 10 feet back and forth then bump someone i hate that chump shit
I’d drive the same way for 20k. Idc how I gotta drive and who I piss off by sandbagging at least I’ll be 20k richer than you
