I was advised by my care coordinator and work coach at the job centre to say what you are like on your worst days, dont lie but exaggerate and put emphasis on things like negative symptoms. Ive heard horror stories of people loosing their money.
I've seen the p.i.p. interview process first hand and it's absolutely APPALLING! Right from the start like when I first phoned up the office that deals with it the woman at the other end talked and acted just like some kind of robot and wouldn't even try and be remotely human, and the so-called "health professional" who interviewed me just sat there and took a quick casual glance at one thing after another and made a totally WRONG assumption in each case, something which became obvious when I saw the report which was FULL of total cock-ups and totally wrong conclusions and appalling errors etc. but the stupid decision maker at the dwp just wouldn't be told, and their decisions have to be proper informed decisions but they just didn't want to know and would only believe the total CRAP in the report as if it was Gospel truth. And that's what they do at p.i.p. "assessments", they just sit there and make one totally wrong assumption after another which only leads to a report full of totally wrong conclusions. And the person who interviewed me wasn't even properly qualified which I know because one of the company staff actually told me that they didn't have anyone qualified to know about anyone disabled like me, so how could they carry out an even remotely accurate assessment?! The dwp think that "one method fits all" when of course it doesn't as there's absolutely no way anyone can even begin to accurately judge my whole life from what they see in the space of an hour or less in an office, to properly assess me someone would have to live with me for months and see all the appalling things that constantly happen to me, but of course that is way too impractical, not to mention way too invasive, and expensive etc. so their method does NOT work for anyone like me suffering with multiple life RUINING hidden disorders. And it looks like the dwp just won't recognise any kind of disorder beyond the far too narrow range that they know. So I took them to tribunal and humiliated their representative and stunned him into silence all in front of the judge. So when you go for "assessment" insist on seeing what they've written BEFORE you leave and make sure it gets corrected there and then, INSIST on it and don't take no for an answer, and do remind them that they CANNOT possibly judge your whole life from what they see there in that room, not if it's all hidden from view and not so obvious, and you can't replicate or demonstrate everything right there and then as they expect so they therefore cannot carry out an accurate assessment, no WAY, so the whole process is a total farce.

I have just come across this video because I have just applied for independence payments pip and I have my health assessment phone call and I'm feeling anxious and overwhelmed about the call your video is very helpful thank you
Im afraid that there are severalo in built problems with the review system. Not least is that the how your disability affects you questionnaire is the same as when you submitted your original claim. If your answers take into account the mitigations which your current award is paying for, (as in using PIP for the purpose its designed) You will score less because you are mitigating the effects of your challenges. Worse if you went to tribunal over the Health Care Professional's report and the Tribunal re-wrote and superseded it with a corrected one, the Review assessor WILL NOT SEE THE TRIBUNAL'S REPORT BY DEFAULT. They will receive the original incorrect report as part of their medical information bundle. Do not be surprised if the errors which you have previously and successfully challenged at Tribunal appear once again. This is because Tribunals are classed as Administrative and not medical even if the subject matter that the tribunal looks at is medical in nature. Therefore it wont be sent to a third party due to GDPR rules, even though by sending out of date and incorrect med info they are breaching GDPR themselves... Please make sure you submit the tribunal paperwork (not just the decision letter but the whole bundle) to the Assessor to avoid having to go through the darn thing again.
I was refused pip a few years back, I recently asked for forms to be sent out, I didn't fill them in, I now have an acessment this week, does anyone know how this works
Is there a electronic version of this form? I have difficulty holding a pen to write but can use voice recognition if form is online? Ps I know PIP for is online I am asking about review form.
Hello, unfortunately there isn't a DWP 'approved' electronic version, however our advisers advise that you type your answers on a word document making sure you use the relevant question number and attach this to the review form. Making sure that in the DWP paper review form it is clear that they should refer to the attached and still sign the form where needed. Best wishes
Hi im baised in Sheffield and i think i have conditions and claim , do you help for filling the application? If so whats the cost , please replay with information, regards

I recently had a review and got a text saying your review is complete and will have a decision Letter within 2 weeks does this mean they have made a decision
I believe so. The letter you'll receive will state what your outcome is. I truly hope you get what you deserve. If you feel it's not a fair decision then be sure to challenge it. I hope you have the support you need (If it comes to that). But I do hope that's something which you don't have to go through and you're happy with the decision. All the best.👍💯🌟💚
@@florancebella4366. Phone their number and ask them if there is any update on your appeal. If you can't make the call then ask someone in your network of support to call them for you! In the meantime, try not to worry too much! All the best 👍
this is no longer correct the forms have changed there is no break down per question all it says now is preparing food you need prompting then eating/drinking you need prompting thats it,they also make it clear your payments will continue until a decision is made
