- Replacing the starter solenoid in a 2007 SeaDoo GTI SE .
If one pushing the start button you hear a click but the engine does not turn over, replacing the solenoid is likely the fix for you.
To replace it, You will need a 10 mm ratchet, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a small flat head screwdriver. You will also need a new solenoid, which I ordered from Amazon for around $20.

Joseph, you’re the man. Saved me a few hundred on service fees and parts. Easy to follow instructions.
This was by far the best video I could of seen to replace my solenoid. Everything was right on, Thanks Joseph.
The new solenoid fits the same place as old without bolts. Just push it under
Thanks 🙏
I will try this. Mine has gotten harder and harder to crank each summer until now it won’t crank at all.
Thank you for posting, a valuable time saver!!!!!
Joseph, thank you sir, excellent video...
perfect, thank you!
Great video, thank you
Thanks. Do the wires have to go on the same side of the solenoid as the one removed?
What size hardware like bolts and washers did you use to secure the new solenoid?
Why remove the negative terminal versus the positive one ?
Great video
What symptoms did you have when trying to start the engine
A single mechanical click and then silence. If I tried it enough times, eventually it would turn over. More and more attempts were necessary over time. Scary to be sitting in the middle of the lake and have your boat refuse to start XD
