Thank you! I've been looking for a cheap alternative for a ClampTite tool for awhile now. Watching this video has motivated me to go ahead and purchase one.
I've got to congratulate you. This just might be my favorite of the many videos I've seen about DIY versions of this tool. Your showing of the tool in action was fun to watch and put a big smile on my face. I'm a fan of minimalist designs, and this is the most basic and stripped down version of this tool I've seen yet. I'm also a fan of physical comedy. Your performance in this video was comedy gold. You managed to make the use of this simple tool, appear to be as complicated as a moon launch. That requires a special kind of genius. And you sir, are indeed, that kind of special. Really, I've never laughed and smiled so much while watching a tool almost win a wrestling match like I did here. Seriously, my face is sore now.
I've done these wire clamps many times. It is so much easier and neater to pre-form the "clamp" and slip it over the end whenever possible rather than weave it in place. In jobs were I've had to make up many ends I'd spend a little time making up a simple form to wrap and form these clamps by the dozens.
Muhammed, forget about the negative comments in this column. To me your video was clear and I could have a good look at exactly what every part looks like, as well as the technique of using it. Thank you for that and keep up the good work !
I think we all appreciate his efforts, but there’s nothing wrong with accurate negative comments. It’s how we learn. For my part I’d rather hear them than not hear them.
Excellent hose clamp maker, I will make one like that. Better to use 1.2 mm diameter wire. It’s the simplest I’ve seen. Thanks for your efforts. Greetings from Saudi Arabia.
Excellent and clear explanation of how pressure builds up on the wire while tightening it. I had watched videos of others making home made clamptite. but principle was not clear in videos. Excellent working. People have the choice to turn the music off if they do not like it as your video is not about good music but principle behind this little tool.
Good job. But wouldn't it be better to file or grind down the bolt where the welded nut rides on. Also use a thinner wire, like electric fence wire, the thinner one.
The notch at the tip doesn't have to be that big. You will damage the hose when you do the bend. The notch shouldn't be deeper than the thickness of your wire.
Rough, but it will work. Moving wire together after cutting actually somewhat loosened the clamping action. Best to position them prior to final tightning and bending and cutting.
The tool seems to be an ideal one for wire binding on hoses. Kudos to your idea in fabricating such a tool. Will you let me know the sizes of the bolts used and the depth of the cut in the wire holding nut. Please help me to try and fabricate one for my house hold.
i make real ones!! and they take a few times to use with easy!! but this guy should have picked an better fitting hose and not did every thing so slow!! i had to turn the sound off right away!!
really cool version of the tool made from scavenged parts. but for the love of all that is holy, please fix the crossed over wire! you cant do that to us!
Wow... You took what should have been a 30 second fix and completely bumblefu*ked it. Pro tip 1 use correct size hose for fitting Pro tip 2 grind the threads between the holes in your t-handle so it can twist freely. Pro tip 3 don't get it twisted, the loops around the hose should not criss cross And finally if you can move the wires after your done twisting then they're not strong enough
Same. I stopped the video at about 10 seconds. Anyone that has to use unnecessary music as a crutch for their video gets an immediate thumbs down from me.
That was painful to watch. I normally don’t leave negative comments, however you started this incorrectly by threading the wrong parts through leaving to much loop at the start, the looped sections overlapped at one part while trying to tighten it (meaning not a strong seal) and you need to invest in a pair or wire cutters and a small hammer (hammer for the thicker wire) instead of using a pair of pin nosed pliers. You are also not meant to move the wire once you have it on, if it moves, it’s not a strong enough fasten and I’m sure I saw near the end of the video, the pipe end (the bit you tried to fasten to the pipe), move because it wasn’t fastened tight enough. You may want to learn how this tool works, practice with it and then make a “How To Video”. And I know it takes time to make good quality videos, so plan what it is you want to do before you do it and look at some decent video editing software, and edit various shots explaining what you are doing, either with voice over, voice while filming or written word. Good luck with cuter videos
This is a very crude tool - a rip-off of a rather elegant tool made by a Russian YTer. And the quality of the vide is terrible, as is the inane music .
This is an obvious copy of the Stronghold haywire klamper, and a crude one at that. Save yourself the time and effort and just buy a more efficient and better working tool. It literally applies a wire clamp in 30 second, with all your fumbling it took you 7 minutes.

My favorite diy clamper to date💪
Well done mate! Good idea and well presented. Good luck from Australia.
That was the simplest clamping tool I saw until now! Thanks for the video
The simplest one I've seen too. Gonna make it. 👍👍
@@TheSteve157 how did it turn out?
a masterclass of making something look harder than it actually is...
😴
It doesn't have to be bolts. Any kind of rods would do. Thanks sir you cleared up my concept and made it look so simple.

Greetings from Saudi Arabia.
Clever design for a tool that is quite useful.
Thanks for posting.
You made it look 10 times harder than it is,by all your fumbling ...
9 out of 10 I like the simple design and the low cost along with its handle

Great design, and simple. Two bolts and a nut. It works very well.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽thanks Muhammed... your project is a kind I like. I can quickly go fix my own similar tool... that is so simple and will be handy. Cheers.
For the love of it all dude put it face down on the edge of the table! Work smarter not harder. Let gravity help you out.
Job done! good work mate.
Good job. But wouldn't it be better to file or grind down the bolt where the welded nut rides on. Also use a thinner wire, like electric fence wire, the thinner one.
That went smoothly.
Nice design. Thanks for sharing.

Muito bom, vou fazer!!
My friend, i think the next bigger size fitting would fit the hose better.
This is the simplest version of the tool.
Great Sir
Simple y Práctica 👍(simple and practical)
Rough, but it will work. Moving wire together after cutting actually somewhat loosened the clamping action. Best to position them prior to final tightning and bending and cutting.
Good job 👍
Nice one simple easy quick!
Wasn't quick or easy or simple
Brilliant make. Music can be turned off and for any shortcomings, make your own improvements.
Thanks Muhammad

Ferramenta perfeita
Simple and very smart tool.
Very nice, Thank You
Great do it yourself tool. I'm making one. Looked like a struggle to get it clamped. Takes some practice , eh?
I think a small version could be used to make oboe reeds. ?
Watching this bumbling guy makes me want to pay full price for the real thing
i make real ones!! and they take a few times to use with easy!! but this guy should have picked an better fitting hose and not did every thing so slow!! i had to turn the sound off right away!!
Well Mr. Perfect lets see what you can do...hmm, nothing? As I suspected.....
Get the right size pieces to go together.
Your dexterity was painful to watch bro... But that is an awesome tool .
i just had an idea that you could use a modified mastic gun to achieve the same.
simple 👍
Houston...we have a problem.
I’ll give you an E for effort but that ain’t no knock!
-Mac Dre
Awesome! A how not to do it video!
Nice build m8... are you selling these?
You are sharper than the POTUS Joe Biden. Thanks for sharing.
a tool's value lies in functionality, not appearance.
That is what she said!
Buen video, pero ya me estaba desesperando
I'll be damned. There is an even easier way to make that tool. Nice. 👍
show de ferramenta.
What’s wrong with hose clamps?
Good
One day I'll learn how to make it. 🤦♂️
really cool version of the tool made from scavenged parts. but for the love of all that is holy, please fix the crossed over wire! you cant do that to us!
Wow... You took what should have been a 30 second fix and completely bumblefu*ked it.
Pro tip 1 use correct size hose for fitting

The thread on the top is useless.
It would be a lot easier to use a good quality hose clamp instead of fumbling with that wire. Then on top of that you have to make that tool...
@Phoenix Right you are!!!
Took me about 25 minutes to make mine.
Works like a champ.
must have eclampsia
This is one of those “I can do better than this chump” videos!
Muhammad, Don't listen to the negative comments.
Please don't blow us up.
That was painful to watch! Good idea for a tool though!
👍👍👍👍
This was painful to watch. I think I’ll just bug a good clamp.
LOSE the music please??
How clumpsy is he?
The hose is not even properly tightened at all!
Pretty damn clever
7 minutes to put on a hose clamp is it worth it
Don't get me wrong though I do like the hose clamp and the device that's why I originally started looking at this
Takes a bit of finagling.
Omg anyone heard of a hose clamp
Please dont post any other videos....PLEASE!!
couldn't stand the music so I clicked elsewhere
Same.
I stopped the video at about 10 seconds.
Anyone that has to use unnecessary music as a crutch for their video gets an immediate thumbs down from me.
j ai vu plus simple à faire
That was extremely painful to watch

I think my grandmother is more of a handyman than you

That was agonizing. You should have practiced a little before going live.
dogs breakfast.
Jubilee clip much better, easier to fit and undo.
Don't give up your day job.
Agonizing.
So painful to watch.
A very bad copy of the original German marvell of ingenuity!
Berasa Ribet banget gak si....
WTF this was painful to watch
😂😂😂😂😂
