It will probably be an unpopular opinion 🖐 Sooo it took me a some time but finally I bought the A73 three days ago. So far I am very happy and satisfied! I must say I have never had any device from this series, but in the last few years I had the Galaxy S8 Plus, which was a flagship device back then(2017), and also a good one! After that I had the Xiomi not8 pro which was a really good surprise! Low price, convenient interface and strong specifications. Only now after 3 years with him I replaceed it. In fact, I would buy the newest model of Xiomi instead, but this year they extremely raised the prices and I also heard quite a few negative reviews. So I went back to the Galaxy! Overall a cheap device compared to, let's say - their flagship S22 ultra. And the minuses of the A73 are too tiny to spend double the money on a flagship phone. I RECOMMEND. 😃
Here in India we get lot cheaper version of A53 called M52 which still has snapdragon 778 at half the price of A73 with little compromises. It's frankly a no brainer
There is one minor feature 99% of you tube reviewers forget : the sound quality while using headphones. I tested the Samsung buds live on the a73 and xiaomi redmi note 11 pro 5G the earbud sounded better on the a73 than the redmi note 11 pro 5G
Yes it was helpful but based on the fact that we stay in Naija.. I'll like to see more reviews focused on battery life.. I'm a heavy phone user, out of the other options you mentioned the a73 still has a better battery life with the 5000mah
Battery life is solid. I've posted this stat on Twitter recently. I get at least 7 hours of screen on time. Your usage will vary but 7 think it's impressive
Saying a Samsung Phone is Lag free is the greatest over-statement of the century especially an A series phone. I have used the A71, A51 and A72 and i can guarantee they are far from lag free. It has nothing to do with the processor, its just that One Ui is just built that way, with so much lag.

How is the durability of the new Samsung phones? I've been using Huawai for the past 6 years because Samsung disappointed me years ago. Their phones gave so many problems in just 6months.. And with Huawai after 2 years my phone was still gud as new. So I was thinking of changing back 2 Samsung.. So I was wondering hw good the phones are and do they last long?
Hard to say. Less RAM, less updates(4x3), less security updates(5x3), lesser camera, build quality is a small step below, screen quality is lesser. But the A52s is way cheaper, which is a major plus.
For most people a52s will suit their needs, most likely they will keep their device for around 2 or 3 years so more software support for some isn't deal breaker

I heard the Poco recommendation and laughed. Poco is too filled with bugs and inconsistent developers. Worse is the lack of repairs in Nigeria. Used the Poco M3 and my Friend used the X3 Pro. The phone suddenly had a death screen or whatever it's called. Poco said they'd fix it and till date. It got worse and we were both phoneless till we got new phones. Poco is a No.

I 100% agree with you. The A73 happens to be my favorite of the A series so far because of that slight flagship feel in the user experience

The most your budget can go for. Since you're coming from an iPhone X, I recommend a flagship Samsung or Google Pixel

They don't have any durability issues as far as I can remember, especially not on the A series. They have good build quality
