I read a review of Pauline's "Red Colour Sun" by a supposed folk reviewer some time ago and I was disgusted by the hatchet job he did on her saying her interpretations were off and her voice was not able to handle the tunes. Well feck him, she pours it on here son. Powerful, I wish I had this to play on my radio programmes. The old tunes are continued sometimes by new versions and arrangements. So well done Pauline and Donagh. Good on ya! William

I heard Pauline and Donogh perform this in Dingle Sept. 2013. It was great and I was so happy to find it on you tube. Just a moving performance!
I saw them perform this, too. It was the best version of this song that I have heard to date, imo.
powerful version of this song ,

I think this is the right tempo for this song, which is really a dirge, not a true fighting song.
