Balmorhea: All Is Wild, All Is Silent - Remembrance
This is a little different from my usual content, since this waltz has no sung lyrics and only instrumentals. It is very emotional and slow, but still has a good buildup and drop throughout the whole piece. Since the original uses a lot of sound effects and repeated melodies played back on different instruments, it would be too repetitive and empty to cover accurately on the piano. So I improvised here and there to capture the essence of the original piece while still having the base accurately covered.
As always, any kind of feedback is highly appreciated so don't hesitate to point out mistakes and areas needing improvement.
Side notes: I plan on writing some more slow and simple (1 star) covers in future, like this one.

A beautiful world struck by war as the landscape feels more and more depressing, a spark of hope appears. Memories of happier days trickle back, filled with melancholy as this fantasy and its hope dwindles away.

Good luck learning! Actually I can't perform this cover, I wrote the arrangement and made the audio by humanizing a midi file, I'm wishing you the best of luck with learning it however! I'm happy that you love it!
@@ATsMagicShop yeah I am learning it right now and it is not that hard to play only one hand, but if I try to combine the hands it just crashes 😅. This piece needs some time.. but thanks for the great piece !
@@aslanzuko4041 No problem and I totally agree! The individual hands are pretty easy, but combining them is a little challenging for this piece because each hand has its own unique rhythm

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I actually don't ever encounter racism here, but that might be because I never leave the house, haha. I did encounter a lot of racism in my school days but apart from that, never.

If only you could add what fingers should be on what notes, it would make it a lot easier for dummy like me
I have thought about adding finger numbers in my videos before but decided not to because I prefer the simplicity of the notes on their own. Regarding the fingering, it's always best if you experiment with different fingerings yourself and see what's most comfortable for you, this will help you a lot more in the long run!

@@ATsMagicShop Hi! thanks for the reply :) no specific part, just where it gets insane basically haha, I can't distinguish what should be played with either the right or left arm, I am still learning sheet music although I have done some advanced pieces through youtube just by watching. I will ask my piano teacher for help though with the sheet music. Thank you so much for sharing this by the way! really wonderful.

I personally think it's neither too difficult nor too easy, this is a piece for intermediate pianists

@@huz.4028 Of course, the main difficulties with this piece are the poly-rhythm that occurs sometimes, the tremolos in the beginning and later on the right hand jumps during the fast sections. For the polyrhythm, just practice it VERY slowly at snail speed (one note at a time if you need that), it shouldn't take too long to get used to the rhythm if you practice that way. For the tremolos, I recommend practicing them slowly with a metronome and while practicing, really make sure that your technique is perfect and the tremolos are coming purely from your wrist. You might have to do that for a few days or more than a week to really get a smooth tremolo. Finally, the jumps are the trickiest part, you practice them at slow speed with a metronome, and repeat that so often that your muscle memory becomes used to it. Take your time practicing the jumps, it might take a while until you can do clean jumps. I hope these tips helped you, good luck and have fun learning!
