i like to look at this from a different perspective.... you see.. try to imagine Full Throttle intro without Legacy ..... Gone Jackals gave life to that game... and for me thats a great accomplishment for an artist... it represents a lot for a whole generation.. they must be really proud.
Allright, allright...most of you are here because of Full Throttle. Nothing wrong with that. In fact this is great! And when the game and the music got you into motorcycles that's even EPIC! Keep'em rolling boys(and girls) ;) !
Man, story time. I went to a Blockbuster Music (back when those were a thing) and mail ordered this friggen album because I was just such a 11 year old nerd into Full Throttle. I finally got it a few weeks later, and man... I was not the intended audience. A few weeks later, someone stole the CD from me at school, probably because I left it some some goddamn Performa CD tray, and I always remember feeling like if I had just kept it, I would've grown into those tracks. Still, Drop the Hammer, despite not being in a video game, stayed in my head for 27 years - and now here we are! Awesome album now, though! Wish they had stuck around.
I actively read the credits to find details about the recording label - through a music store here in Australia managed to get a legit physical copy of this album - in 2005!
I have this cd but now I can't find it around my house for the past four years. Sad days for a very secret killer soundtrack to a Fantastic pc game - Fullthrottle.
DAMN SHAME these guys didn't make it further. Seriously an under rated band...sniff sniff...
They should have but...I'm pretty happy that their music means pure happiness for me - motorcycles that is!

@@dsjunges This is true, but they deserve more recognition.
My first multimedia kit came with it, along with Full Throttle.
When I think of Maureen, I think of two things: asphalt... and trouble.

Criminally underrated album. Yes, it got famous because of Full Throttle but some of the riffs on this album are amazing even for today's standards.
