to reach the beach from Cagliari, take the Strada Statale 131 towards Guspini. Continue for Arbus, and then for Montevecchio. From here continue straight on the provincial road, keeping to the right at the crossroads that appear in front. When prompted, turn right to Torre dei Corsari and proceed for about 10 kilometers along the provincial road following the signs for Torre dei Corsari. As soon as you enter the subdivision, turn left immediately, then left again at the second road, and proceed straight to the beach.

Il termine "cannisonis" fa riferimento alla "phragmites communis", la comune canna di palude.

Non è in Italiano ,ma in dialetto Sardo cioè una radice che viene dalla canna !!!!!!
