Haha what do you mean it needs an exhaust? SC is the custom exhaust on it. If he took out the silencer it would sound even meaner.

Toller klang. Will mir auch einen neuen auspuff montieren? Weisst du wie laut der ist? Ist in der schweiz immer etwas kritisch. Kann trotz beiblatt und zulassung noch zu laut sein
Danke dir! Ja so langsam wird er dumpfer, werde ihn beim nächsten TÜV messen lassen. Fahre ihn jetzt seit 15k Kilometer und die letzten Monate ist er nochmal etwas lauter geworden. Bin mir aber fast sicher, dass er noch im Rahmen der 5% Toleranz liegt :)
did your speedometer come with black display like that or did you use the negative film?
its stock with the SP version, so it came like dat, i changed nothing on the display.

Nein ist kein neues Mapping drauf, mit SC läuft das Bike etwas magerer. Gibt aber Zusatzmodule um das zu verhindern :)

Hey man. I'm considering this exhaust for my MT09 SP, but i'm wondering how the black paint is holding up? People I spoke to who know a lot more about bikes then I do told me the black will turn brown eventually. The rvs version of this exhaust also looks very good, but the black has something special. I'd like to hear from you. Thanks!
You should definetly pick the titanium version, paint on the black one dont stay deep black for dat long. Ur welcome!

Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse ! Encore 1-2 questions, avez-vous ressenti une perte de couple ou avez-vous dû faire un réglage sur un banc d'essai. Je crois comprendre qu'il y a une option disponible (AFM Zusatzleistungseinheit) mais pas obligatoirement nécessaire. Cas échéant, avez-vous aussi installé cette pièce ?
Avec plaisir ! Oui, j'ai remarqué une perte de couple, le pot d'échappement d'origine fonctionnait mieux. Mais je ne l'ai pas testé, j'utilise plutôt le module "RapidBike Easy" et tout fonctionne bien. Je recommanderais sans aucun doute un module AFM.

Sorry man, i'm cant read this. If ur asking if the bike is made for people bigger than 200cm, i would defintely recommend you a bigger bike than the xsr.

I am asking myself about buying an exhaust. This SC project balck seems amazing! I have the same XSR than you. Are you still satisfied with this one? Did you flash the ECU?
yeah, the sound gets better the more you ride! there is no flash done on this bike, the exhaust has really nice looks and is produced very well, only thing is the black paint job - i would recommend you to buy a titanium :)
@@kesselrider6345 what do you mean? I wa looking into this exhaust especially because it is available in Black in the first place. Which suits perfectly with the bike..
@@1700beny the black starts to fade away over time. the front of the pipes and the area around the O2 sensor loses a bit of black coat, so in the end its more like dark brown :D its still a nice all black look but not the deep black you get fresh out of the box after buying it.

Did you have the DB killer in for this video? Really thinking of selling my Akra (the 2014 MT09 version) for one of these. Mostly since it's all black and it's actually rated for the XSR (the Akra I have is only rated for the MT09...).
Also, could you let me know what your tail-tidy is? Looks pretty nice. Also thinking about removing my NRC one (again, legality reasons heh, been quite a hunt by the police lately).
Yes the DB killer is installed, with this Euro4 Version of the exhaust there are 3 big welding seams inside holding the killer. So removing it is not as easy as shown in older videos here on yt. The paint job of the black is not as good as expected but its ok. I can imagine that hunt, thats why i got myself the Tail tidy from www.kmaxx-moto.de :D
hi, congratulations on the bike .... I wanted to ask you if you had to remap the ECU when mounting this exhaust .... since I didn't want to remap the ECU I wanted to know if the bike loses in the low revs .... thank you very much

Ja der Killer ist verbaut, lässt sich auch nicht ausbauen da er an 3 Stellen verschweist ist (Euro4). Schau dir auch mal den Conic 70s an, der passt optisch auch sehr gut :)

Bist du sonst zufrieden zwecks Leistung bzw. Leistungsverlust?
Der Conic 70 sagt mir so nicht zu, muss mich zwischen dieser SC oder Akra Low mount aus dem Yamaha Zubehör Programm entscheiden. Habe die Befürchtung das die Akra zu leise ist?!?!?
Nicht falsch verstehen, möchte keine Krawalltüte haben aber mehr als Serie!
@@errafet1304 Ja ist alles nach Vorschrift verbaut ohne Modifikationen, Klang ist für ne Euro4 Anlage geil. Leistungsverlust ist allerdings vorhanden, der Orginal Pott läuft viel viel besser. Kommt aber auch auf deinen Fahrstil an, ob sich der Unterschied bemerkbar macht. Denke bei der Akra low hat man auf legale Art und Weise den besseren Deal aus Sound+Leistung :)

Can you pls make review of the pipes paint resistance. On the orig exhaust the paint vanished after while and the pipes were not black any longer rather rusty/brawn color. So, I am just wondering if SC project stays black. Thanks and enjoy the beast.
Good idea, im thinking of doing it after a longer period. Only riding the SC since 3.000km, the color ist still black from my point of view.
Right now i can confirm: the SC starts to loose some paint too :/ it's not that bad at all, same procedure like on the orig one.

thx man! Normal long rides (up to 500-600km/day) are no prob, with the suede seat from yamaha its even more comfy. But highway rides (1-2 hrs) are exhausting, without a windshield there's a lot wind coming your direction especially when ur speeding :D

Thank You! It's the license plate holder + brake light from K-MaxX and the turn signals are called "SMD Zero". Maybe i'm gonna do a video on all my modifications on the bike in the future, then you can find the links in the description.

Merci beaucoup. Bon choix ! Je n'ai rien changé sur le pot, le DB Killer est installé exactement. J'utilise seulement un filtre à air différent (K&N AirFilter) en plus.
