We loved secrets Akumal! Thinking about secrets cap Cana for may/June 2023 but very nervous about the sea weed.
If you are worried about seaweed for upcoming travels, book your vacation not in prime time seaweed seasons...

I love your videos. It gives you a better feel for the resort than most “walk through” videos. What do you recommend as far as when to arrive to the airport in Cancun going home? I have heard between 2-3 hours. Looking forward to your next video!❤

I love your videos, I am going with my husband for our 33 wedding anniversary the July 26, 2022 for one week. I was very confuse between the choice of the hotel, I almost book at the Valentin Imperial Rivera Maya and I change for the Secrets! We never been to a Secrets before and with your videos, I am very please with my choice, thank you so much! By the way, you are both very sweet and nice heart people ! I was actually booked there a few years ago, and cancelled due to very bad reviews from colleagues. It’s super hit or miss. I may go to check it out for myself next year. The rooms and pool are very nice. Beach not so much. Service is iffy.

Secrets Akumal this November, and still searching for a good March break contender.
I highly suggest you don't!! We made the massive mistake of going there when our normal resort Excellence Riviera Cancun was fully booked. Haven was the worst resort I've stepped foot on in my life.
I am going in a couple weeks staying here aswell cant wait!

On the bike tour were you able to stop to swim at the lagoon? If not is it something you can walk to on your own? Any cost?
You can walk there to explore on your own. There’s not time to swim with the tour. I think the entry cost starts at $15pp.

I have heard mixed reviews about the beach at Akumal. People say it's very crowded with snorkelers. What did you think about it?
No, I didn’t find it crowded. Keep watching the remaining days for my take on the beach 🙂

Hi there! Love your videos! If we wanted to book with you as a travel agent do you any requirements where you have to spend a certain amount? I’ve talked to one travel agent who didn’t want to work with us as he said his minimum amount you had to spend was a little over $5,000. We’ve been to Mexico before looking to go back never used a travel agent but thought it would be a lot more helpful as I’m having a hard time finding which resort. Thanks! ☺️

Secrets Akumal v Secrets Aura Cozumel pro v cons? Seen both videos!
They are like night and day! Size, price, aesthetic, entertainment, etc. I like them both, but they are so different! If you plan to visit both eventually, I’d start with Aura since it’s the oldest

If your budget allows, I’d do it without hesitation. However I’d happily go back to Majestic for the 3rd time, so if you’d rather save the $500 and get a massage, I support that!
